Internet addiction, which is one of the handicaps seen as a result of modern lifestyle and technological development, can be defined as the inability to prevent the desire to use the internet excessively and the need for more and more time spent on the internet. Rather than banning the internet entirely, controlling its use is a more appropriate option. As in all addictions, when the problem cannot be solved, it is important to benefit from medical and cognitive therapies and, when appropriate, child and adolescent mental health counseling.

The research population is 907 students of STKIP Singkawang, and then a sample of 482 students (107 male and 375 female) is taken using a simple random sampling technique. The research instruments are the academic self-concept and the academic self-esteem scales which are obtained from adaptation, and the GPA documentation. The data are analyzed using SPSS with descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression techniques. The results show that the students mostly have a high level of academic self-concept but moderate academic self-esteem level. There is a significant relationship between academic self-concept and self-esteem, but it is not significantly related to academic achievement. Academic self-esteem does not have a mediating effect on the relationship between academic self-concept and academic achievement. Academic self-concept also does not have a direct effect on academic achievement but is a predictor of academic self-esteem.

Although the problem of anxiety and fear has not been a priority in the treatment of coronavirus, the results of studies show that there is an increase in people's fear of coronavirus. This study aims to evaluate and confirm the Fear of COVID-19 Scale (FCV-19S) Â in the Indonesian population. Exploratory Factor Analysis and Confirmation Factor analysis were used for this purpose. A total of 117 participants responded to the scale. The results of the EFA showed that the scale has two dimensions. Furthermore, the results of the CFA revealed that the Indonesian version of FCV-19S exhibited very good construct validity (factorial and convergent), and acceptable reliability. These findings suggest that the Indonesian version of FCV-19S is a developmentally appropriate instrument that can be used to examine fears of coronavirus in Indonesia.

Adolescents belong to the high-risk group for deliberate self-harm. Data shows that about 20 percent of teenagers in the world engage in self-injurious behavior in forms of scratching, razor blading, hitting, biting, hair-grabbing, and head-banging against walls just to relieve pain. This study aims to determine the correlation between emotion dysregulation and deliberate self-harm in adolescents. This study applied two instruments to measure each variable: (1) Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS), developed by Victor and Klonsky (2016), to measure emotion dysregulation; and (2) Deliberate Self-Harm Inventory, developed by Gratz (2001), to measure deliberate self-harm. Researchers implemented a quantitative approach with a correlational design to answer the research questions. Participants were 174 adolescents recruited from the distribution of online questionnaires with purposive sampling technique. Findings from the study indicate that emotion dysregulation is positively correlated with deliberate self-harm in adolescents with a sig p value < 0.005. This research concludes that the higher the emotion dysregulation, the higher the deliberate self-harm in adolescents.
