Abstract

This study aims to develop domino card media of fraction for independent learning of fourth grade elementary school students in the new normal era. This research was motivated by the lack of learning media that can be used for students, especially when studying independently at home. The development of fraction domino card media was carried out using the method Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) development procedure. The trial subjects of this study consisted of one-on-one trials with 3 student and limited trials with 4 students. This research was conducted in one of the homes of the fourth grade students of SDN 147 Pekanbaru in October 2020. The assessment of the validation of fraction domino card media products got a validation percentage score, namely media experts at 95.83% in the "Very Valid" category, and from material experts 89.06% with the "Very Valid" category. The overall student response to the fraction domino card media that was developed was 90.625% in the "Very Good" category and the response of the parents to the fractioned domino card media developed overall got a percentage score of 95.13% in the "Very Good" category. The implication of this research is that fraction domino card media has the potential to support students learning from home

Abstract

This study aims to develop big book media for learning Indonesian in grade 3 elementary school and to determine the feasibility of big book learning media. This research uses research and development (R&D) methods using the FOUR-D (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminte) model. The data collection technique used is by using questionnaires and trials. The feasibility of big book learning media is obtained from the results of media validation and testing. Validation was carried out by material experts and learning media experts. The results of the research show that the validation of the material experts and the validation of the learning media experts are very valid. The trials used in this study were limited to 10 students and received a very good response. The results of this development research indicate that the big book media for learning Indonesian in grade 3 Elementary School is very suitable for use in learning in Elementary School.

Abstract

This research is motivated by observations, that the LKPD used is still insufficient in inviting active students in the learning process, as well as developing social, emotional, moral and aesthetic communication in children. The problems studied are: 1. How is the development of Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on the Discovery Learning Approach in Integrated Thematic Learning Theme 9 Sub-theme 1 Class V SD Negeri 12 Pisang Padang City; 2. What is the validity, effectiveness, and practicality of Student Worksheet (LKPD) Based on the Discovery Learning Approach in Integrated Thematic Learning Theme 9 Sub-theme 1 Class V SD Negeri 12 Pisang Kota Padang?.This research and development resulted in LKPD products based on discovery learning approaches on the theme of 9 sub-themes 1 and obtained valid / feasible and practical product results for use, the LKPD products developed had fulfilled the components as good teaching materials for use in the learning process because they were in accordance with KI, KD and the suitability of attractive colors, images, sizes and fonts. In addition, according to students' circumstances, the language used is easy to understand, has learning instructions and an assignment assessment score. The form of the assignment is simple but able to cover all learning indicators. From the results of the assessment of the overall average score on the LKPD validation is 84.3 including in the very valid category, it can be used without revision. This shows that the developed LKPD is valid. Thus, it means that the developed LKPD is good and can be used as a learning resource for students in the development of LKPD based on the discovery learning approach in integrated thematic learning in class V elementary schools. The level of practicality of the product is seen from the results of the responses of 1 class teacher, 5 students and their parents with an average score of 95% (Very Interested), which means that the LKPD products developed are practical for use.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran online pada masa pandemi Covid19 sebagai strategi pembelajaran dan capaian hasil belajar pada siswa kelas  III SD Negeri 122358 Pematangsiantar. Masalah  yang ingin dijawab dari penelitian ini adalah: Bagaimanakah strategi pembelajaran online pada masa pandemi Covid19 dapat mempengaruhi capaian belajar siswa kelas  III SD Negeri 122358 Pematangsiantar? Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, informan penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru kelas III, dan 2 orang siswa kelas III SD Negeri 122358 Pematangsiantar. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik  analisis data yang digunakan dengan reduksi data, penyusunan data dan kategorisasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran online dilaksanakan secara daring dengan menyusun perencanaan dan pelaksanaan, perencanaannya yaitu membuat materi dan soal evaluasi, sedangkan pelaksanaannya yaitu membagikan materi dan tugas ke grup WhatsApp serta siswa yang tidak memiliki handphone mengambil soal ke sekolah atau guru datang ke rumah siswa. Hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa tidak semua siswa dapat menjalani pembelajaran online dan hasil belajar siswa tidak semua tercapai disebabkan berbagai faktor seperti siswa tidak mempunyai handphone atau aplikasi WhatsApp, signal  internet yang sulit dijangkau sebab rumah siswa yang berada di desa, kesadaran siswa akan tanggungjawabnya dalam mengerjakan tugas masih kurang, dan kesadaran orangtua maupun kondisi lingkungan yang kurang mendukung sehingga capaian hasil belajar siswa kurang maksimal.

Abstract

This research motivated by the problem academic talent, especially in science-physics subjects, because many students do not achieve minimum mastery in science-physics subjects. Research sub-focus 1) The performance of science-physics teachers at the BNKP Telukdalam Christian Private Junior High School. 2) The academic talent of the seventh grade physics subject. The type of research used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The results showed that 1) The performance of the science-physics teachers was good, where the Guidance and Counseling teachers carried out their duties well according to the function of Guidance and Counseling services. 2) Grade VII students have IPA-Physics academic talent, where students try to solve difficult problems by asking the IPA-Physics subject teacher, and looking for reference sources on the internet that have the same IPA-physics questions. The conclusion of the research on the role of science-physics teachers in developing students' science academic talent by providing knowledge about talent, teachers providing insight into knowledge about their talents, it can open up students' views about their talents more broadly.

Abstract

This study aims to develop cartoon puppet media for social studies learning in elementary schools and to determine the feasibility of developing cartoon puppet media. This study uses research and development methods or Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data collection technique used is by using a questionnaire and a limited trial. The results of the feasibility of the cartoon puppet media were obtained from the validation of experts and media trials. Validation is carried out by media experts, material experts and practitioners. The validation results show that the cartoon puppet media is very valid. Limited trials conducted on 5 students got a response that was categorized as very good. The results of this development research indicate that the cartoon puppet media is suitable for social studies learning in elementary schools. Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah sikap siswa terhadap hasil belajar matematika masih rendah, hal ini terlihat sikap siswa mengalami kebosanan ketika pembelajaran berlangsung dan masih banyak keluhan dari siswa untuk belajar matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh sikap siswa terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa SD Negeri 091301 Kecamatan Panombeian Panei Kabupaten Simalungun Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan penarikan kesimpulan melalui analisis statistik. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 091301 Kecamatan Panombeian Panei Kabupaten Simalungun Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Data yang diperoleh melalui angket dan dokumentasi. Angket sebelumnya di uji normalitas data serta di uji linearitas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana, uji t, uji R2, uji F. Kesimpulannya adalah nilai Sig. (2-tailed) =0,005 lebih kecil dari 0,05 (5%). Ini artinya Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulannya sikap siswa berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa SD Negeri 091301 Kecamatan Panombeian Panei Kabupaten Simalungun Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Koefisien determinasi yang diperoleh sebesar 0,311. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi linear sederhana Y = 96.777 - 0.276 X.

Abstract

This study was investigating the Implementation of the Jigsaw technique in speaking To the Grade XI Students of SMKN 9 Medan. This study used an experimental design. The instruments for collecting data were tests and questionnaires. The population in this study were all the grade XI students of SMKN 9 Medan and two classes were taken as samples, each class consisting of 30 students. One class was an experimental group (30 students of grade XI-RPL2) and one class was as a control group (30 students of grade XI-TKJ3). The experimental group was taught by jigsaw strategy while the control group which consisted of 30 students was taught by using a conventional method. The finding of this study shows that the Jigsaw technique used in teaching speaking affected the students' speaking scores. The mean score of pre-test and post-test for the control class were 65,53 and 75,77 which shows only a slight difference of 10,24 points. While the mean score in the pre-test and post-test of the experimental class was 69,81 and 81,30 with a difference of 11,49 points. Although it shows a slight difference between the two means, the result shows that the post-test of the experimental class was better than Post-test in the control class. It can be concluded that the students who were taught through the Jigsaw technique achieved a better performance in speaking than those who were not taught through the Jigsaw technique. In addition, the result of the questionnaires shows that the students became more active and productive by discussing ideas since the interactive classroom atmosphere and joyful learning helped them to be more confident to express ideas orally. Abstract

Duolingo aplication is one media that very useful in learning, especially in learning English. This is because this application can improve the students’ skilss in English. The application can be used repeatedly and continuously until the students understand about the material. The purpose of this research was to improve students learning outcomes in English in class VII of Junior High School Students and to make the students interest in studying Englsih.The sample used in this study was consist 61 students. The method used in this study is quantitative research methhod, this study has two variables : the Variable (X) is duolinggo Aplication and the Variable (Y) is the improvement of English learning outcomes. The instrument in collecting data is a sheet of students test result in the control group and experimental group. From the result of this study indicate that pre-test and post-test in the control group and experimental group it can be concluded that duolingo aplplication can : ( 1) Improve students learning outcomes or students learning achievement in SMP Katolik class VII Delimurni (2) Increase the interest of students of class VII SMP Katolik Delimurni in learning English, as evidenced by the significant increase in the result of the students score betweeen control group and experimental group. The result of the students average score in the pre-test in the control group was 47,26 and the post test 55.00, the averange score in the experimental group in the pre-test was 51,67 and the post test was 79,26. Therefore it can say that the use of duolingo application can enhance learning outcomes and students’ speaking ability in English

Abstract

This type of research is classroom action research on social studies subject matter with the sub-theme of ecosystem components in class V SD Negeri 107467. The purpose of this research is to improve and/or improve learning practices in schools. The data collection tools used in this study were observation sheets and tests. Based on the learning outcomes in the pre-cycle, it was found that the average student was 65.75 with the number of students who completed 7 while in the first cycle an average of 67 was obtained with the students who completed 9. The learning outcomes of Cycle II with improvements in the implementation of learning in teacher activities were obtained 80% with a good category and the results of the implementation of learning on student activities obtained an average of 75.75 with a good category, individual learning completeness is 18 students. Learning outcomes using a scientific approach to the sub-theme of ecosystem components in class V SD Negeri 107467 Gunung Para District. Dolok Merawan Kab. Serdang Bedagai shows a significant approach.
