Abstract

This type of research is classroom action research on the subject of triangles. The purpose of this research is to improve and/or improve learning practices in schools. The data collection tools used in this study were observation sheets and tests. Based on the results of the first cycle of learning, the results of the implementation of teacher activity learning are 60% with sufficient categories and the results of student observation sheets are 63.6 in the sufficient category, meaning that learning has not reached the criteria for good learning implementation. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle with an average of 69.2 with individual student learning completeness is 13 people, while the second learning outcomes with improvements in the implementation of learning on teacher activities obtained 79.7% with good category and the results of the implementation of learning on student activities obtained 80 with good category, individual learning completeness is 23 students, while classical completeness is with an average value of 80.6.

Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials based on Malay teaching and learning in elementary schools for fourth-grade elementary school students. The type of writing is Research and development using a 4D development model. The results obtained that teaching materials based on Malay teaching and learning are very valid and very practical so that they are "very feasible" to be used in learning. The validation results from media experts obtained an average score of 93.75% in the "Very Valid" category. The assessment of the material expert validators obtained an average score of 97.91% with the "Very Valid" category. Furthermore, the class teacher validator with the validation results showed an average score of 88.02% with the "Very Valid" category. Assessment of research products in a limited trial using the practicality of teachers and students. The results of the average score of teacher practicality are 88.09% in the very practical category. Then the results of the practicality of students obtained an average score of 87.36% with a very practical category. Keywords : Development, teaching material, Malay Teaching and Learning

Abstract

This study aims to describe the difficulties experienced by elementary school teacher education students in completing their final assignments during the covid-19 pandemic. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The data collection technique used in this study used a questionnaire or questionnaire distributed to 78 respondents. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistical data analysis techniques. Sources of data in this study are primary and secondary data. The results of this study are that elementary school teacher education students have high enough motivation because they do not want to be a student any longer, students have difficulty in pouring research results into scientific work, students have difficulty identifying educational problems during the covid-19 pandemic. Due to the limited scope, students have difficulty finding references or literature due to the closure of the library so that students use online references which are sometimes difficult to access due to frequent link errors and limited internet quota, and students have difficulty collecting data in the field due to the Physical Distancing policy.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the relationship between parental care and discipline in student learning SMP Negeri 1 Fanayama, South Nias Regency, in the 2021/2022 academic year. The results of the questionnaire validity test showed that all questions about parental care (variable X) and questions about student learning discipline (variable Y) were declared valid. Calculation of reliability for the variable X with a value of r11 = 0.951, is known the value of r11 > rtable so that the parental concern questionnaire is declared reliable. Calculation of reliability for the variable Y obtained with a value of r11 = 0.942 is classified as very high criteria. It can be concluded that the value obtained is r11>rtable so that the student learning discipline questionnaire is declared reliable. The results of the calculation between the variable X (parental concern) with the variable Y (student learning discipline) obtained a value rxy = 0.900. The rxy value was then consulted at r table = 0.900 for N = 20 at a significant level of 95%. Based on the results of the consultation, it is known that rxy > rtable, so in this case that there is a relationship between parental care and student discipline SMP Negeri 1 Fanayama. The results of the calculation the hypothesis test obtained the price of t = 8.752. while the t table price a significant level of 95% and dk = 20-2 = 18, then it is obtained that t table = 2.101, it turns out that the value of t count = 8.752 > t table so that Ho is rejected. it can be concluded that there is a relationship between parental care and student learning discipline.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in Protestant Christian religious subjects, by applying the Peer Lessons learning model in class X SMK Negeri 1 Telukdalam. The form of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), the learning process is carried out in two cycles and each cycle consists of four stages, namely: (1). Planning Phase; (2). Action stage; (3). observation stage; (4). Reflection stage. The research subjects were students of class X SMK Negeri 1 Telukdalam. The results of processing tests on student activities in the first cycle of the first meeting were obtained (62.50%) and at the second meeting (63.54%). while in the second cycle the first meeting was obtained (86.98%) and the second meeting was obtained (90.36%). and learning outcomes have increased

Abstract

This research motivated by the problem academic talent, especially in science-physics subjects, because many students do not achieve minimum mastery in science-physics subjects. Research sub-focus 1) The performance of science-physics teachers at the BNKP Telukdalam Christian Private Junior High School. 2) The academic talent of the seventh grade physics subject. The type of research used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The results showed that 1) The performance of the science-physics teachers was good, where the Guidance and Counseling teachers carried out their duties well according to the function of Guidance and Counseling services. 2) Grade VII students have IPA-Physics academic talent, where students try to solve difficult problems by asking the IPA-Physics subject teacher, and looking for reference sources on the internet that have the same IPA-physics questions. The conclusion of the research on the role of science-physics teachers in developing students' science academic talent by providing knowledge about talent, teachers providing insight into knowledge about their talents, it can open up students' views about their talents more broadly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan amanat secara eksplisit dan amanat secara implisit yang terdapat pada lirik lagu pada album “9 Sanora group” Karya Hikayat Manao. Pendekatan dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu 8 lirik lagu yang terdapat pada album “9 Sanora group” Karya Hikayat Manao. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam lirik lagu pada album “9 Sanora group” Karya Hikayat Manao terkadung dua jenis amanat dalam setiap lirik lagu, yakni amanat secara eksplisit (tersurat) dan amanat secara implisit (tersirat). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa di album “9 Sanora group” Karya Hikayat Manao terdapat amanat secara eksplisit dan amanat secara implisit. Yang mendominasi dari kedua jenis amanat yaitu amanat secara eksplisit. Karena didalam lirik lagu sering menggunakan amanat atau pesan yang disampaikan kepada pendengar khusunya menceritakan tentang alam, budaya, motivasi dan percintaan. Peneliti menyarankan bagi penggemar atau penggiat lagu “9 Sanora group” Karya Hikayat Manao ini jangan hanya sekedar mendengar saja akan tetapi mampu memahami amanat atau pesan-pesan yang terkandung pada setiap lirik-lirik lagu.

Abstract

Penelitian dilatar belakangi oleh pembelajaran daring menggunakan whatsApp pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis pembelajaran daring menggunakan whatsApp, kelebihan dan kekurangan pembelajaran daring menggunakan whatsApp serta bagaimana upaya kepala sekolah, guru, orang tua dan siswa dalam mengatasi kekurangan pembelajaran daring menggunakan whatsApp. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Berdasarkan penelitian proses pembelajaran daring dilakukan dengan cara panggilan video dan mengirimkan tugas di whatsApp grup. Kelebihan pembelajaran daring menggunakan whatsApp yaitu faktor evalusi yang meliputi efektivitas biaya, kenyamanan aplikasi dan kemampuan literasi digital guru. Kekurangan pembelajaran daring menggunakan whatsApp yaitu faktor teknis, faktor pedagogi, faktor teknologi dan faktor koneksi internet. Upaya yang dilakukan dalam menghadapi kesulitan tersebut, yaitu menyediakan wifi, memberikan tugas tambahan, mengajak orang tua membantu anaknya selama belajar, meminta peserta didik dan orang tua untuk menghubungi jika ada materi atau tugas yang tidak dipahami, mengikutkan peserta didik bimbel dan membeli paket internet sebelum belajar. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan bahan referensi guru dalam mengajar, peserta didik hendaknya meningkatkan minat belajar, emosi orang tua dalam mendampingi anak belajar dan menjadi acuan untuk melihat pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring, kelebihan dan kekurangan pembelajaran daring serta bagaimana upaya kepala sekolah, guru, orang tua dan peserta didik dalam menghadapi kekurangan pembelajaran daring menggunakan whatsApp.

Abstract

This type of research is classroom action research. The purpose of this study was to find out how the results of the implementation of learning with the Application of Peer Tutor Online Learning Methods to Improve Learning Activeness of Class XI Science Students at SMA Negeri 1 Kutabuluh in the 2021/2022 Academic Year. Based on the results of research and discussion, classroom action research carried out on class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Kutabuluh, it can be concluded as follows: (1) The application of Peer Tutor learning methods can increase student learning activity, seen from the acquisition of the average percentage of student learning activeness in the first cycle of 46.3%, then increased at the second cycle meeting of 67.1%. (2) The application of Peer Tutor learning methods can improve student learning outcomes in cognitive and psychomotor aspects. The percentage of completeness of students' cognitive learning outcomes before the application of the Peer Tutor learning method was 51.61%, then it increased in the first cycle by 9.69% to 61.3%. An increase also occurred from cycle I to cycle II by 16.1% to 77.4%. The percentage of students' completeness in the psychomotor aspect in the pre-cycle is 64.51%. An increase in the completeness of the assessment on the psychomotor aspect occurred in the pre-cycle to the first cycle by 12.89% to 77.4%, the percentage of completeness of the performance assessment results increased again from the first cycle to the second cycle by 9.6% to 87%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada mata pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada mata pelajaran matematika di kelas VA SD Negeri 09 Sintang tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan bentuk deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh: 1) Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada mata pelajaran matematika di kelas VA SD Negeri 09 Sintang sebesar 49,73 % kategori rendah, indikator Interpretasi sebesar 27,80 %, indikator Analisis sebesar 57,32 %, indikator Evaluasi sebesar 60,34 %, dan indikator Inferensi sebesar 53,45 %. 2) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita yaitu faktor psikologis belajar yang meliputi perkembangan intelektual, motivasi, dan kecemasan, faktor fisiologi yang meliputi kondisi fisik, faktor kemandirian belajar, dan faktor interaksi. 3) Upaya guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita yaitu pengelolaan kelas, menggunakan pendekatan dan metode pembelajaran yang bervariasi, menciptakan interaksi antara guru dan siswa, dan melakukan evaluasi pembelajaran yang dapat merangsang proses berpikir siswa yang kuat dan cepat.
