The purpose of the study is to describe the academic procrastination of students and the factors that influence them. The type of research that qualitative research uses is a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, and documentation. Research informants are teachers and students. The results showed that the form of academic procrastination of students is late to collect tasks, delay to start doing tasks, and delay learning time and factors that affect academic procrastination of students are internal factors that are lazy, boredom of tasks, unable to manage study time and external factors, namely parental parenting style factors, community environment and weather or Covid-19 situation.

Permasalahan yang diungkapkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu nilai karakter apa saja yang terdapat pada cerpen dalam buku siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar tema 8 Daerah Tempat Tinggalku. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis nilai karakter yang ada pada cerpen dalam buku siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar tema 8 Daerah Tempat Tinggalku.Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah adalah pendekatan kualitatif.Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh cerpen yang terdapat dalam buku siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar tema 8 Daerah Tempat Tinggalku. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan cara melakukan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendidik sudah menerapkan pendidikan karakter dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah.Keberhasilan penerapan pendidikan karakter dapat terlihat dari tingkah laku siswa yang berubah menjadi lebih baik. Pendidikan karakter juga dapat menjadi salah satu indikator tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Adapun nilai karakter yang terdapat dalam cerpen pada buku siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar tema 8 Daerah Tempat Tinggalku adalah nilai karakter religius, rasa peduli, kasih sayang, percaya diri,bekerja sama, tanggung jawab, kerja keras, rasa ingin tahu.

This research is motivated by various deficiencies contained in teaching materials in elementary schools. Meanwhile, the teacher plays a very important role in developing effective teaching materials to encourage the progress of students in learning. The existing teaching materials still need improvements because there are several errors such as paragraphs in the reading text that are not aligned left-right, errors in capital letters. Therefore, to solve this problem, it is necessary to find a solution in the form of developing integrated thematic teaching materials based on the cooperative script model for grade IV elementary school students. This study aims to produce valid teaching materials. This type of research is development research using the 4-D model (four D model). This model consists of four stages, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The results showed that the integrated thematic teaching materials using the cooperative script model developed obtained the validity percentage of teaching materials was 87.5% (material) with a very valid category, 75% (language) with a valid category, and 81.8% (design) with very valid category.

ABSTRACT This study aims to find out the effect of reading interest on the reading comprehension of grade XII high school students of SMA Negeri 1 Brandan Barat. This is an ex-post-facto study using a mixed-method approach and quantitative and qualitative data. The population of this study was 180 12th grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Brandan Barat for the 2020–2021 academic year majoring in social sciences (IPS) and natural sciences (IPA). The procedure of sampling taking for this study was a randomly selected sampling plan. Slovin’s formula was used to compute the samples. The computed sample size was 64 students from a population of 180 students. The data collection methods used were the questionnaire method and a test of reading comprehension. The data collected was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with partial test hypothesis testing (t-test). The findings of this study indicated that the t-value = 6,201 > t-table 1,669 with a significance value of 0.000 0.05, then Ha was accepted. This shows that partially Ha, which stated that there was an effect of reading interest on reading comprehension, is accepted. It can be concluded that reading interest affected the reading comprehension of Grade XII high school students of SMA Negeri 1 Brandan Barat.

The spread of COVID-19 is the background in this study. As a result of the pandemic, it is necessary for the entire community to have social distancing, including the learning process which is carried out online or in a network. By applying online learning, it is necessary to conduct research on how it affects the cognitive abilities of students at SMP Padamu Negeri. This study aims to determine the effect of online learning on students' cognitive abilities on environmental pollution material for class VII SMP Padamu Negeri T.A 2020/2021. This research is a descriptive research using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students of class VII SMP Padamu Negeri totaling 50 students. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires, tests, and documentation. For data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive analysis. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that online learning carried out in class VII-2 SMP Padamu Negeri on environmental pollution material for T.A 2020/2021 obtained an average value of 69.80. Meanwhile, students' cognitive abilities in the environmental pollution material in the 2020/2021 academic year have an average value of 50.35. Based on the results of a simple linear regression test, it was concluded that the coefficient of determination was 0.524 or equal to 40%, which means that online learning has an influence of 40% on students' cognitive abilities and the rest is influenced by other factors. The significance value obtained is 0.0001 which is smaller than the alpha of 0.05. Based on these data, it can be concluded that online learning has an effect on students' cognitive abilities. When Sig < 0.05 then Ha can be accepted while H0 is rejected. Where Ha is online learning has a significant effect on students' cognitive abilities and H0 is online learning has no effect on students' cognitive abilities.

This study aims to determine the completion of social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SD Negeri Sukakarya. The research method used is in the form of a quasi-experimental. The population is all fourth grade students of SD Sukakarya and the research sample is 19 students. Data was collected by using saturated sampling technique. The collected data were analyzed using tests. Based on the results of data analysis with a confidence level of = 5% and dk = 18, it shows that zcount = 2.29 and ztable = 1.64 (zcount > ztable). Thus, it can be concluded that the social studies learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Sukakarya after the implementation of the open ended learning model have been significantly completed. The average value of the final test of students is 72.48 and the percentage of students who complete is 17 students (68.42%). it can be concluded that the social studies learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Sukakarya after the application of the open ended learning model were significantly completed.

This writing aims to find out the types and factors of difficulty that students do in solving math story problems and to find out how to overcome students' difficulties in solving math story problems. The method used for this writing is a qualitative method of analysis type. The writing subject was taken by the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 41 Lubuklinggau with a total of 22 students. Collecting data in this paper using observation techniques, test questions, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this paper are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the writing show that the types of difficulties experienced by students in solving math story problems are: 1). Difficulty transforming the problem, 2) difficulty using arithmetic operations, 3) difficulty drawing conclusions and 4) students are not careful in working on the questions. Factors causing difficulties in solving math story problems are 1) internal factors include: intellectual, interest and motivation. External factors include: school facilities and infrastructure. solutions to overcome difficulties include: students must understand the problem, students understand the mathematical model, students do a lot of exercises and students check answers again. The proportion of students' difficulties in solving problems with the number of students 22 people for the difficulty of transforming the problem is 16.6%, the difficulty using arithmetic operations is 27.8%, the difficulty in drawing conclusions is 72.2 and students are not careful in working on the problem of 67.7% .

This study is a classroom action research aiming at developing fine motor skills of kindergarten students through paper-based paper cutting activities at TK Fajar Medan. The present study consisted of two cycles, in which each cycle included planning, acting, observing, and reflecting phases. This study was conducted collaboratively together with the homeroom teacher. A total of 8 students of Group A at TK Fajar Medan served as research subjects This research was conducted in October – Desembe 2021. Data collection instruments were observation, students’ performance, and documentation. The results showed that pattern- based cutting activities could develop Group A students’ fine motor skills at TK Fajar Medan in the academic year of 2020/2021. The data analysis results obtained the learning outcome percentage of students’ fine motor skills in pre-cycle was 24.75%, categorized as low. Then, in cycle I, the learning outcome percentage increased to 47.8%, and drastically increased in cycle II with a percentage of 81.37%. The study suggests that in order to develop fine motor skills, teachers can implement pattern-based cutting activities to students of Group A at TK Fajar Medan.

This study aims to obtain a thematic based character education learning model at the elementary school level. The learning model consists of devices and guides student learning. The acquisition of the model began with a literature study, observations were made during this research, the analysis was then compiled and a model design design was developed and continued with limited testing in first grade elementary schools. The results of the trial show that the prepared model design still needs to be refined, especially in student books. This is because at the time of the trial, the guidelines were still not able to guide students in learning. Sentences in this book are still biased. In the interview, students were disturbed by using the student guide. Apart from the unusual usage as well as the user manual is not very clear. But overall, this model is useful as a guide in determining steps or policies related to improving the quality of learning at the primary school level, specifically for first graders.

This research aimed to find out the science learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Remban after applying the Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) model. The method experimental with the form pre-test post-test design. Population and sampel or research subject all Fourth graders of SD Negeri 1 Remban for the academic year 2021/2022 for grade IV totaling 15 Students. Data Collection techniques with a total of 8 questions. Data Analysis techniques using the Z-test. The results showed based on the results of the Z-test with a significant level of 5%, obtained Z-hitung >Z-tabel (7,43 > 1,64) which shows that the hypothesis Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Conclusion that the fourth grade science learning outcomes of SD Negeri 1 Remban after the application of the Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) were significantly completed. The average value of the final science study test was 81.
