Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to discuss Blockchain Technology and the application of Sisko at the Al-Madinah Integrated Islamic School, where the students’ cognitive development varies from 4 years to 17 years old. This article uses the library research method which refers to 19 articles downloaded from Google Scholar and Crossref. Blockchain technology is a system that limits its users according to its boundaries but can still be connected with other users. One of the systems for implementing Blockchain Technology at the Sekolah Islam Terpadu Al-Madinah is Sisko SIT Al-Madinah, which contains a database about education from Kindergarten to High School within the Al-Madinah Integrated Islamic School. The menu in the Sisko system is different for each user, for example students use Sisko for exams and assignments, teachers use Sisko to input grades and savings, principals and vice principals use Sisko to manage curriculum, add and edit student data, map students into classes, and finally the Sisko admin uses it to add and edit report formats, map user accounts and archive school databases. Sisko is highly recommended for schools that want to be more effective and efficient in managing data, finances, learning outcomes and in archiving all of their data because schools must be ready to shift into school digitalization in this era.

Abstract

Abstract: Books are the media most often used by teachers. From the analysis of the teacher's needs, it is known that the teacher finds it difficult to explain to students about the form or describe the original form and sometimes gets stuck in just memorizing terms. Therefore, media is needed that can help teachers and students in the learning process. This research aimed to determine product specifications, attractiveness, and practicality of augmented reality learning media products in discovery learning activities in grade VIII natural science subjects on the human respiratory system at SMPK PENABUR Depok. This type of research is development research. The procedure in this development research was adapted from Borg & Gall. The subjects in this study were 40 grade VIII students of SMPK PENABUR Depok for the 2021/2022 academic year. In addition, this study also involved three experts in the fields of augmented reality, learning, and science education. Data analysis shows that the level of product attractiveness is 86.06% and the product practicality level is 88.64%. With these results, the product is declared feasible and can be used as a new learning media in the subject of the respiratory system in humans. Keywords: augmented reality, discovery, learning media.  Abstrak: Buku adalah media yang paling sering digunakan guru. Dari analisis kebutuhan guru diketahui bahwa guru kesulitan untuk menjelaskan kepada siswa mengenai bentuk atau menggambarkan wujud asli dan terkadang terjebak dalam kegiatan menghafal istilah saja. Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkan media yang mampu membantu guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui spesifikasi produk, kemenarikan dan kepraktisan produk media pembelajaran augmented reality pada aktivitas pembelajaran discovery dalam mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) kelas VIII materi sistem pernapasan pada manusia di SMPK PENABUR Depok. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Prosedur dalam penelitian pengembangan ini diadaptasi dari Borg & Gall. Subjek dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas VIII SMPK PENABUR Depok tahun ajaran 2021/2022 yang berjumlah 40 orang selain itu penelitian ini juga melibatkan tiga ahli pada bidang augmented reality, pembelajaran, dan pendidikan IPA. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kemenarikan produk sebesar 86,06% dan tingkat kepraktisan produk sebesar 88,64%. Dengan hasil ini maka produk dinyatakan layak dan dapat dijadikan media pembelajaran yang baru dalam materi sistem pernapasan pada manusia. Kata Kunci: augmented reality, discovery, media pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an interactive e-module as an additional learning media for fourth-grade elementary schools in the Natural and Social Sciences subject (IPAS). The study was conducted utilizing the ADDIE approach of research and development. Fourth-grade students and instructors at SDN Cikadongdong verified the product before it was released. Observation, interviews, and questionnaires were used as the primary methods of data collection. The results of product trials based on the teacher’s response showed a score of 95.8%, which was in the very good category. In addition, students’ responses based on interview results showed that the students liked the interactive e-module because the appearance of the interactive e-module was attractive, not boring, and easy to use. Thus, it can be concluded that the interactive e-module is considered a very good category and is suitable to use as an additional learning medium in fourth-grade Natural and Social Sciences learning.

Abstract

The measurement of self-acceptance in previous studies still uses classical methods. A valid and reliable self-acceptance scale will help measure the ability to recognize, accept oneself for uniqueness. This study aims to validate and develop the Self-Acceptance Scale. This study was conducted on 100 high school students in Lembang, West Java Province, which included 58 females and 42 males. Cross-sectional survey research methods and a quantitative methodology were employed in this study. The Rasch Model was utilized for data analysis with the Win steps 3.73 program. The findings indicated that 25 items and four scale alternatives where The Cronbach Alpha value represents the interaction between Person and Item is in the excellent category with a value of 0.56. A person's reliability is in a suitable category with a value of 0.47, which indicates the consistency of respondents' answers. The scale meets the criteria that can be used to measure student self-acceptance.

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the current education system between looking to the future and the issue of quality and reliability, as the issue of quality and accreditation many educators and specialists in the field from the principle of providing a high level of reliability to all educational and educational programmers and youth in the teacher, the curriculum and the educational environment, whether in school stage university mother represented, in addition to the importance of the presence of modern technology in education and its impact on future generations in the future; where this study came to shed light on the importance of education and its impact on individuals and society through the introduction of all kinds of educational and technological innovations; The study followed the qualitative analytical approach based on the theoretical research study. This study concludes that it is necessary to work on strengthening education, whether in school or university, with all the new knowledge and modern technologies, the impact of which is reflected on students and society, contributing to the continuity of progress, growth, and prosperity of societies.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze whether the educational philanthropy learning model can foster student awareness and social engagement. The research used a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by participatory observation techniques, where researchers are directly involved during lectures through presentation activities and in-depth interviews. The resource persons in this study were lecturers who taught educational philanthropy, students of the Islamic Religious Education Management (MPI) study program classes A, B and C. After the data is collected it is then analyzed by data reduction. Then the presentation of the data is used so that it can be accessed and understood easily. The next stage draws conclusions. The results of this study show that the educational philanthropy learning model can foster student awareness and involvement and can create an independent character, but there are still several factors that become obstacles in learning educational philanthropy courses, namely students are still not on time in collecting mini research report assignments that have been determined by lecturers who teach educational philanthropy courses.   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah model pembelajaran filantropi pendidikan dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran dan keterlibatan sosial mahasiswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi partisipatif, yaitu peneliti terlibat langsung selama perkuliahan melalui kegiatan presentasi dan wawancara mendalam. Narasumber dalam penelitian ini adalah dosen pengampu mata kuliah filantropi pendidikan dan mahasiswa program studi Manajemen Pendidikan Agama Islam (MPI) kelas A, B dan C. Setelah data dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis dengan reduksi data. Kemudian penyajian data tersebut digunakan agar dapat diakses dan dipahami dengan mudah. Tahap selanjutnya menarik kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran filantropi pendidikan dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran dan keterlibatan mahasiswa serta dapat menciptakan karakter yang mandiri, akan tetapi masih ada beberapa faktor yang menjadi kendala dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah filantropi pendidikan yaitu mahasiswa masih belum tepat waktu dalam pengumpulan tugas laporan mini research yang telah ditentukan dosen pengampu mata kuliah filantropi pendidikan.

Abstract

Technology continues to develop so that it causes changes in the pattern of human life without exception, also in education. This technological advancement requires teachers to develop and adjust additional competencies, one of which is using new technology in the learning process. Learning media can be interpreted as learning process aids that include subject matter information. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the use of YouTube videos on improving students' English learning outcomes. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with a type of Quasi Experiment with a form of nonequivalent control group design. This research uses data analysis techniques, namely descriptive statistical analysis, analysis prerequisite tests, hypothesis tests, and n-gain analysis. The results of the hypothesis test in this study obtained the sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, this shows that the variables of YouTube video-based learning media have a significant effect on student English learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the Effect Size and Publication Bias of the research results of the relationship of Self Regulated Learning (SRL) to the Student’s Mastery Level with various conclusions. This research is also used to identify the level of positive correlation by Meta-Analysis. The methodology used in this research is a meta-analysis study of 14 research results. In this study, the Effect Size values were obtained in the range of -0.13 to 1.22. Based on the estimated correlation values,  which currently stand at 0.498 with a confidence interval of 0.284 to 0.613, it can be said that there is a positive relationship between Student’s Mastery Level and Self Regulated Learning (SRL). In addition, by using the Egger's Test, a p-value of 0.166 > (α = 0.05) was obtained, so that Publication Bias was not detected by the Meta-Analysis study. In general, it can be stated that Self Regulated Learning (SRL) has a statistically significant positive influence on the level of student mastery. The greater the motivation to learn independently, the better the students' academic mastery.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-efficacy, computer anxiety, trait anxiety, and cognitive distortions on students' interest in learning Mind Your Own Business (MYOB). This research is a quantitative study using raw data obtained from questionnaires and data analysis. This study used multiple linear regression and data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed by f-test, t-test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that partially the self-efficacy variable affected students' interest in learning MYOB, computer anxiety influenced students' interest in learning MYOB, trait anxiety had an impact on students' interest in learning MYOB, and cognitive distortions affected students' interest in learning MYOB. The practical implication of this research is that it is essential to ensure that students have good self-efficacy, low anxiety levels, and no cognitive deviations.

Abstract

Higher education is experiencing a shift at a rate never previously seen owing to a change in higher education theory and practices that have become more learner-centered globally. As the value of higher education has increased, education has also become an ongoing activity. Transformative learning theory is widely used in higher education because it provides advice on how people might discover meaning in their lives. Teachers can improve their theory and practice of instruction through transformational learning by critically assessing and revising their assumptions and expectations to promote higher education students’ successful learning. Higher education institutions are finding it increasingly difficult to adapt to changing facilities brought about by digitization, technological innovations, increased technological connectivity, workplace diversity, mobility and migration, and global market expansion. This paper delves deeply into the concepts of digital transformation and transformational learning practices in order to help readers understand their importance and function in effective teaching and learning in transforming higher education. The primary contribution of this paper is the delivery of transformative learning strategies and a comprehensive approach on how to effectively integrate digital technologies into the teaching and learning process to increase student engagement, knowledge retention, and the development of critical thinking skills.
