Abstract

Assessment development is an important component in 21st-century learning. Therefore, teachers are required to be able to develop 21st-century skills-based assessments or assessments for students. This service research aims to improve teacher competence in developing 21st-century skills-based assessments through the working group of school principals in West Semarang District. Participants in this community service activity are members of the working group of school principals consisting of elementary school teachers in the West Semarang District. The methods used in this service are the lecture method, experiment/practice, and task method. The impact of these service activities is in the form of increasing teacher understanding related to 21st-century skills. In addition, teachers have a broader and deeper insight into 21st-century competencies, and teacher competencies in compiling and developing 21st-century competency-based assessments can be integrated into the form of multiple-choice tests and essay tests.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in social science subjects through the Round Club method in grade V Primary School 1 Hendea, South Buton Regency. This type of research is Classroom Action Research which includes the stages of Planning, Action, Observation and Reflection. The research activity was carried out in the 2020/2021 academic year in social science subjects with the sub-theme of national events in colonialism on the material factors that caused the Indonesian nation to colonize. the results of the research data analysis cycle I and cycle II it was found that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in the first cycle, the results obtained were 20 students scored 60% complete, 13 students scored below or 39% incomplete. While in the second cycle, 30 students obtained scores above 90% complete, 3 students scored below or 9.90% incomplete. it can be concluded that student learning outcomes can increase

Abstract

One of the innovations in teaching materials in elementary schools is the learning module. The integrative thematic learning module innovation is needed to help students understand learning materials, build knowledge, and develop abilities. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the integrative thematic learning module based on the RADEC (Read-Answer-Discuss-Explain-Create) model on the “Manfaat Energi” sub-theme. The subjects in this study were fourth-grade elementary school students. This study uses quantitative methods. The results of the effectiveness test were obtained through Pretest and Posttest to determine the effect of implementing learning modules on improving learning outcomes. The results showed that the average pretest results obtained a percentage of 72% and the average posttest results obtained a percentage of 83%. Based on these results, there is an increase in student learning outcomes by 11%. The effectiveness of this learning module is supported by various aspects that are emphasized in the module, including aspects of material/content, presentation, language, and graphics. These four aspects are integrated in such a way that they can help students develop their communication and creation skills. It can be concluded that, there is an increase in learning outcomes for fourth-grade elementary school students after the implementation of the thematic integrative learning module based on the RADEC (Read-Answer-Discuss-Explain-Create) sub-theme on "Manfaat Energi".

Abstract

This study is a quantitative study with a correlation design which aims to determine the relationship between parenting patterns and the learning independence of fifth grade students of SD Cluster III, Majaleng District, Wajo Regency. The population in this study were the fifth grade students of SD Cluster III, Majaleng District, Wajo Regency with 62 students. The data was collected by using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique was descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, it was found that the democratic type of parenting was the most widely used parenting category by parents, as many as 30 students with a percentage of 48.3, students' learning independence had an average of 94.43 and a percentage of 87.44. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis, the t-valuecount(17.40382) is greater (>) the t-valuetable(9.48773) at the 5% significance level. Thus Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. From the results of the study, it was concluded that there was a significant relationship between attention to parenting patterns and the learning independence of fifth grade students at SD Gugus III, Majuleng District, Wajo Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of school-based management, with a research focus on aspects of curriculum management and teaching programs at the State Elementary School 1 Baubau. The method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The technique of collecting research data is through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that the implementation of school-based management, curriculum management and teaching programs at SDN 1 Baubau was realized through the development of a local content curriculum of Wolio Language and SBK based on local wisdom carried out with a good and systematic management mechanism through planning of teaching programs, implementing the learning process, and assessment and evaluation of learning outcomes. However, the results of the implementation have only been limited to the achievement of the conceptual aspect, while the achievement of the contextual aspect has not been fulfilled. For this reason, it is necessary to reformulate and continuously improve the implementation of Wolio language learning and SBK based on local wisdom at SDN 1 Baubau.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the naturalist intelligence of elementary school students in thematic learning. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method, with preparatory/pre-field steps, field work, and data analysis. The data sources that are the key people are all students of class VI SDN 010 Bangun Purba, totaling 14 students consisting of 7 male students and 7 female students. Data collection techniques used are documentation, observation, and interviews. The research instruments used were student observation sheets, teacher observation sheets, and interview guidelines. The data analysis technique was carried out using qualitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that students' naturalist intelligence was in the high category. The naturalist intelligence of male students is lower than the naturalist intelligence of female students. The conclusion of this study is that the naturalist intelligence of students is high because students are very observant with thematic learning carried out by the teacher. Teachers who apply thematic learning in elementary schools really implement their thematic learning very well so that students' naturalist intelligence can be achieved at the highest level. Further research is needed on other intelligences that can be achieved through the application of thematic learning in elementary schools, considering that students have 8 kinds of intelligence.

Abstract

The main problem of this research is whether through the STAD type cooperative learning approach the results of the fifth grade students of SD Inpres 5/81 Awo I, Bone Regency, can improve the learning outcomes of flat shapes. While the purpose of this study is to improve learning outcomes of flat shapes through cooperative learning with the Student Teams Achievement Divisions type approach for fifth grade students of SD Inpres 5/81 Awo I, Bone Regency. Data collection using observation techniques to filter data on student activities and teacher actions during the process. In learning, learning outcomes tests are used to collect student achievement data, the analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis in the form of percentages and frequency tables. The results showed: student learning achievement increased on the subject of broad-level learning using the Cooperative Learning Approach Type of Student Teams Achievement Division. The conclusion of this study is that the students' learning outcomes of flat shapes using the Student Teams Divisions type for fifth grade students of SD Inpres 5/81 Awo I, Bone Regency, improved mathematics learning outcomes, increased learning outcomes of flat shapes learning outcomes were carried out through the Student Teams Divisions (STAD) type. ) based on the level of interest, experience, and skills of students in relation to the subject being taught.

Abstract

Audio-visual media in the form of videos can present learning objects concretely by linking the material and building understanding. The aim of study is to create a video-based Civics learning media with valid, and appropriate criteria as a thematic learning resource for fourth-grade elementary school students. The research used (R&D). The study's subjects included 70 students. This research step is 4-D (Four-D Models). It consists of four stages: the define stage, which analyzes learning resources and media; the design stage, which creates a video storyboard; and the developing stage, which determines validity materials and media, test the feasibility of teacher responses and video implementation, disseminate stage (dissemination), specifically the feasibility test of students and guardian students. The results showed that the validation of the media expert reached 96%, and the validation of the material expert reached 89%. The percentage of a score of 91% for the teacher's response, 93% for the students' guardians' responses, and 91% for the students' responses. All three of them are in excellent criteria. It indicates that the development of video-based Civics learning media as a thematic learning resource has been tested for validity and feasibility using very valid and very feasible categories. The use of video media in the classroom can increase students' interest in learning and their creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of project-based online learning on students' creative thinking skills in waste management courses. The type of research used is quantitative research with the Pre-Experiment method with a one shot case study design. The subjects of this study were 23 students of biology study program Muslim University Of maros who were given treatment in the learning process and the results were observed. The instrument of this research is a test of student learning outcomes to measure students' creative abilities and student response questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is quantitative data analysis, to determine the effectiveness of the applied learning model, it can be seen from the quality of student test results and data from student responses in the learning process. The percentage of achievement of student learning outcomes is in the high and very high categories, amounting to 95.6%, which is greater than the effective criteria at 75%. The percentage of positive responses from students is 97%. This shows that the project-based online learning model is effectively used in waste management learning

Abstract

The research conducted by this researcher aims to determine (1) whether q is a significant influence on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Pemulutan who are taught using the Discovery Learning model (2) Improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics subjects for addition and subtraction of fractions. in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Pemulutan. This study uses an experimental method, namely True Experimental Design by using the form of the Pretest-posttest Control Group Design test. The test consists of 10 questions in the form of a description. The sample in this study consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class with 22 students and the control class with 20 students. The results of the hypothesis test obtained that the value of tcount is 3.569 while ttable is 2.021 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, it can be concluded that the Discovery Learning learning model has a significant effect on learning outcomes in mathematics, adding and subtracting fractions in class V SD Negeri 2 Pemulutan.
