<![CDATA[This research investigates the perspective of Saint John of the Cross regarding encounters with God through the lenses of Faith, Hope, and Love, as elucidated in the renowned work titled "The Impact Of God" authored by Iaian Matthew. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of these encounters on an individual's spiritual existence. The research employed methodologies such as literature review and textual analysis. The findings of this investigation reveal that faith, hope, and love serve as pivotal avenues for encountering God. Through enriching the spiritual experiences of individuals and guiding them towards a deeper comprehension of the divine, these encounters engender substantial transformation. According to Saint John of the Cross, faithfulness in faith, unwavering hope, and profound love are indispensable prerequisites for attaining an intimate encounter with God. This article underscores the significance of encountering Allah in these three dimensions and highlights its profound impact on an individual's life. Consequently, a profound understanding of encountering God through Faith, Hope, and Love can serve as a wellspring of inspiration for individuals seeking to nurture their spiritual journey.]]>

<![CDATA[Gereja Kalimantan Evangelis (GKE) Imanuel Mandomai is one of the churches that has a long history in Central Kalimantan. Formerly, this church was the center of evangelism in Mandomai and has a long musical history because of its uniqueness with the trumpet and Harmonium choir. The problem encountered in this research is that the musical talents of the congregation in GKE Imanuel Mandomai have not been optimally utilized. The objective of this research is to elucidate the forms, processes, and outcomes of empowering the musical talents of the congregation at GKE Imanuel Mandomai. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results obtained are; there are various stages of empowering congregational musical talent using TQM implementation, including; preparation stage, planning stage and implementation stage. Besides that, empowering congregational musical talent has a positive impact on the management of music services in the church because it increases the number of musicians and the realization of the quality of music services at GKE Imanuel Mandomai.]]>

<![CDATA[The people of Palu experienced natural disasters on September 28, 2018. The event caused suffering in the form of trauma. Society attributes the struggle to the existence of God, as in theodicy. Nevertheless, suffering in human life has spiritual meanings. The purpose of this research was to analyze the relevance of theodicy and spiritual well-being for survivors of natural disaster trauma in Palu. This research used a qualitative method with a phenomenological type. Researchers collected data using interview techniques with five participants who were Palu residents who had experienced natural disasters on 28 September 2018, then analyzed the data through an interpretative phenomenological analysis. Researchers found three categories as themes: natural disasters events, relationships with God, and relationships with others. Researchers showed that all participants realized that natural disasters are devastating phenomena and, in fact, cause trauma. Despite the suffering, they recognized God's goodness, which restores and manifests in empathy and solidarity. Relationships with the divine and others influenced their spiritual well-being.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to strengthen the community of believers at St. Peter's in Pematang Purba, St. Francis Assisi in Saribudolog, amidst its cultural and social diversity. This research employs the reader response method to investigate the church's understanding of biblical teachings and their application in daily life. The study reveals that humility, kindness, patience, and compassion demonstrated by church leaders and congregation members strengthen community cohesion. The congregation actively participates in church activities, though geographical challenges and shifting societal values impact face-to-face interactions. The study also highlights the importance of using technology as a tool for communication and community support. The novelty of this research lies in exploring how Christ's gifts are used to strengthen diverse communities and the impact of social changes and technology on interpersonal relationships. By combining biblical principles with practical contexts, this research provides a relevant model for other churches facing similar challenges. The findings of this study have the potential to strengthen the community and make significant contributions to the congregation of St. Peter's Station in Pematang Purba.]]>

<![CDATA[Torah are the norms or rules of life of every aspect in the society of Israelites. It is associated also with the covenant which made between God and His chosen nation, the Israelite. In the journey of history, this Torah was contextualized with the Jewish people. The Jews interpret the Torah as a visible instrument for them to lead them to obtain eternal life in the future. However, the Pharisees and scribes understood the Torah in a positivistic way. Therefore, based on the text of Matthew 5:17-20, and by using qualitative methods with a literature approach, the article will review and discuss Jesus as a figure who progressively realized the Torah. The basic for the progressive realization of Torah is love. Furthermore, the progressive realization of Torah makes law in the sense of humanizing the human beings.]]>

<![CDATA[It is very important to teach religious moderation to children from an early age, in this case Sunday school at the Paul Congregation TWM Manado, as one of the congregations located in the center of the city of Manado. Religious moderation leads to an attitude of life that is open, friendly, tolerant, and not extreme in building relationships with fellow human beings of different religions. In this regard, Sunday school teachers play an important role in guiding and teaching children about religious moderation. This study aims to find out the understanding of Sunday school teachers at the Paul Congregation TWM Manado regarding religious moderation. The research method used is qualitative by using literature studies and interviews. The results of the study show that Sunday school teachers' understanding of religious moderation still needs to be developed because according to all informants, religious moderation is not familiar for them. Therefore, training on religious moderation is an urgent need for Sunday school teachers at the Paul Congregation TWM Manado.]]>

<![CDATA[The phenomenon of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang live streaming has become a popular form of entertainment, especially among teenagers, yet the behavior of streamers during live broadcasts often displays diverse characteristics that can potentially influence the viewers' morals. This study aims to analyze the character of Mobile Legends streamers from the perspective of Islamic morals, focusing on how their behavior impacts viewers, particularly teenagers who are prone to idolizing streamers. Using qualitative methods and content analysis, this research identifies two main categories: commendable morals (akhlaq mahmudah) and disgraceful morals (akhlaq madzmumah). Streamers like Marsha Ozawa and R7 Tatsumaki exhibit commendable traits such as patience, teamwork, and self-control, while others like Pascol and Brandon Kent display negative behaviors, including using harsh language, acting impulsively, and showing ungratefulness. These streamer behaviors significantly impact viewers, with negative actions normalizing poor habits and positive actions inspiring Islamic values. This study highlights the importance of educating streamers about Islamic morals and the role of streaming platforms in creating a digital environment that is both educational and ethical.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to explain the role of Christian faith in overcoming depression. The method used is a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The results of the study state that Christian faith plays a role in efforts to overcome depression. If a person has a good Christian faith, then it is expected that the person can strive to overcome depression. Furthermore, if a person has a poor Christian faith, then efforts to overcome depression will be disrupted / hampered, and may not even be pursued. Suggestions for individuals that every person, especially Christians should realize that everyone can be affected by depression. For every family, it is necessary to be aware and sensitive to mental illnesses, one of which is depression. Each individual does not feel alone in facing problems, but knows that there is a family that is always ready to support. The church is one of the best shields that can be a protector for individuals in facing various life challenges, so as to avoid depression.]]>

<![CDATA[Preaching has a central role in the life of the church as a means of conveying the truth of God's word, building faith, and inspiring the congregation's life in accordance with God's will. However, the times have shown a shift in the focus of preaching from Christocentricity to pragmatic themes orientated towards human needs, which can reduce its theological relevance. This study aims to analyse Peter's sermon in Acts 2:14-40 as a model of Christocentric preaching and explore its implications for preachers today. The method used is a literature study with a thematic approach to explore the main elements in Christocentric preaching, such as the proclamation of Christ, His resurrection, and the call to repentance. The results show that Peter's sermon provides a strong example of the integration of Old Testament prophecy with New Testament fulfilment, the focus on Christ's resurrection, and its impact in bringing repentance and transformation of the congregation's lives. The research also confirms that Christocentric preaching is relevant today as a means of building faith, providing eschatological hope, and encouraging the mission of the church.]]>

<![CDATA[PAI teachers are an important part of supporting the success of the Religion moderation program that is being echoed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs today. It would be a problem if PAI teachers have a different view from the spirit of religious moderation itself. This research attempts to describe the ‘voice from below’ of PAI teachers who are an integral part of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, in understanding religious moderation in Pekanbaru. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with several PAI teachers at the junior high school in Pekanbaru City. In general, the views of PAI teachers coincide with the four indicators developed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs; national commitment, tolerance, non-violence and friendliness to local culture. However, there are some important issues that they think should be avoided, namely; wishing Merry Christmas; giving space for the Shia and Ahmadiyya religions; and the obligation to wear hijab for adult women.]]>
