Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze in depth about students who are often late coming to school at SMA Negeri 11 West Pontianak. The case subjects in this study were two students. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach in the form of a case study. The data collection techniques used are direct communication and documentation with data analysis techniques using case study steps including problem identification, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, evaluation and follow-up. When providing treatment, researchers use the Behavioral counseling model. The implementation of counseling in case subject I uses aversion therapy techniques and positive reinforcement while in case subject II uses aversion therapy techniques and response formation. The factors causing the case subject to be late for school are due to internal and external factors. The results showed that there were significant changes in case subjects I and II after being given treatment four times. The changes in case subjects I and II are that students are not late, before the bell is rung the case subject is already present at school, disciplines themselves to manage daily time and is more eager to take part in learning.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of school principals in increasing teacher work productivity in junior high schools in Samarinda City. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews with school principals, deputy principals and teachers as informants, as well as observation and documentation. The research results show that the planning carried out by the school principal has run optimally. The school principal prepares plans systematically, provides assistance to teachers to improve the quality of teaching. This planning includes preparing training and workshop schedules for teachers, providing facilities, and providing motivation. Follow-up to this plan includes recording deficiencies during class observations, calling individual teachers, and discussing the results through teacher council meetings. Good planning by school principals accelerates improvements in teacher performance, which has a positive impact on schools and students to achieve optimal results. This emphasizes the important role of school principals in designing strategies to increase teacher work productivity and manage schools effectively.

Abstract

Conceptual understanding ability is a skill in which students can explain a matter or concept of knowledge with their personal understanding. However, students' conceptual understanding related to science learning, especially on the material of the human respiratory system is still lacking. This study aims to determine how the application of the RADEC learning model in improving concept understanding in human respiratory system material for grade V elementary school students. This research used experimental method with quasi experimental design nonequivalent control groups design. The results showed that the pretest of students' concept understanding ability was highest with a score of 60 with an average score of 33. After the application of the RADEC learning model, the posttest value of students' concept understanding was highest in the very good category with a score of 100 with an average score of 82. The increase in students' understanding of concepts in human respiratory system material after applying the RADEC learning model has increased significantly as evidenced by the n-gain results on students' pretest and posttest scores with a result of 0.72 which is in the high category indicating that there is an increase in understanding of high category concepts after the application of the RADEC learning model of human respiratory system material.

Abstract

Brand image is important for a product, with a good brand image, it can influence consumer preferences to make purchasing decisions. However, at this time, brand reputation is not the main factor for consumers when considering purchasing beauty products. This study aims to determine the effect of brand image on online purchasing decisions for Skintific facial care cosmetics. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 96 respondents with a sampling method in the form of nonprobability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. Based on the simple linear regression test, the significance value of the X and Y variables is 0.000 <0.05. In the T test, the significance value is 0.000 <0.05 and the t value is 10.328> t table 1.98552, so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. In the determination coefficient test, the coefficient of determination is 0.532, which means that the influence of brand image contributes 53.2% to the online purchasing decision for Skintific facial care cosmetics, while the remaining 46.8% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The results showed that brand image has a positive and significant influence on online purchasing decisions for Skintific facial care cosmetics.

Abstract

This study aimed 1) to determine the effect of using Learning Management System (LMS) on student learning outcomes, 2) to determine the effect of achievement motivation on student learning outcomes, 3) to determine the effect of using LMS and achievement motivation simultaneously on student learning outcomes in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Sekolah Pelita Harapan Lippo Cikarang. The research method used is quantitative research method. The research sample amounted to 32 people who were the entire population of students in the IB program (saturation sampling). The results showed that 1) The use of LMS (X1) has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes (Y) at Sekolah Pelita Harapan (SPH) Lippo Cikarang. This is evidenced by the results of statistical tests where the use of LMS has a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and the value of t count> t table (4.771> 2.045); 2) Achievement motivation (X2) does not have a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes at Sekolah Pelita Harapan Lippo. Statistical tests show that the achievement motivation variable has a significance value of 0.309> 0.05 and the t value < t table (-1.037> 2.045); 3) The use of LMS (X1) and Achievement motivation (X2) simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes (Y) at Sekolah Pelita Harapan Lippo Cikarang. This is evidenced by the statistical test results where the value of Sig. 0.000 <0.05 and the calculated F value is 12.687> 3.32. The test results of the Coefficient of Determination resulted in 0.467 or 46.7%. This means that the variables of LMS usage (X1) and Achievement motivation (X2) have an influence of 46.7% on student learning outcomes (Y), the remaining 53.3% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Indonesia's population growth has become a major concern due to its impact on various aspects of life. With the population reaching 275.77 million people in mid-2022, the growth rate decreased to 1.17 percent. This phenomenon is a serious concern for the government, especially with population density reaching 143.86 people/km2. Amidst efforts to address uncontrolled growth, Pangkalpinang City as an example shows a significant increase in population. To address this issue, the government introduced the Family Quality Village (Kampung KB) as a birth control program. Through Kampung KB, communities are educated about wise family planning and the importance of quality families. The program also provides support for couples who want to plan a family by providing information, counseling, and guidance related to various aspects of family planning. It is hoped that, through these efforts, the birth rate can be well controlled, which in turn will improve the quality of life of families and individuals and reduce the number of unplanned births.

Abstract

Konseling kelompok merupakan sebuah prosedur diantara pribadi individu yang terpusat, dinamis pada pemikiran serta perilaku yang terjaga dan mempartisipasikan fungsi-fungsi antara lain berorientasi terhadap kenyataan, berkeyakinan satu sama lain, menerima satu lain, dan menopang satu sama lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui strategi pemberian layanan konseling kelompok pada remajanya terhadap pornografi. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian studi kasus dengan mengumpulkan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk menguji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi data, triangulasi metode, dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pelayanan konseling kelompok terhadap pornografi di desa mesan krio berhasil dengan menggunakan layanan konseling kelompok. Peneliti ini menyoroti pentingnya memahami dampak negatif pornografi terhadap kesehatan mental dan emosional. Dengan adanya konseling kelompok, para remaja mempunyai wadah yang tepat untuk membahas permasalahan dan mendapatkan informasi yang mendalam serta saling bertukar pikiran dan pendapat terutama dalam meningkatkan rasa percaya diri remaja. dalam konseling kelompok dibahas dalam masalah pribadi yang dialami oleh masing-masing anggota kelompok. Masalah pribadi dibahas melalui Pornografi yang terdapat di kelompok yang intens dan konstruktif, diikuti oleh semua anggota kelompok di bawah bimbingan guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (Konselor). Konselor mengembangkan strategi untuk mencegah atau menangani masalah terkait pornografi, termasuk kesadaran diri, identifikasi emosi, ekpresi emosional, perhatian dan menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the implementation of government policies in the management and development of the Karombasan Market, Wanea District, Manado City. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach research method. The aim of descriptive research is to create systematic, actual and accurate descriptions, images or paintings regarding the facts, as well as the properties and relationships between the phenomena being investigated. The results of the research show that the government has carried out their respective duties but it is still not going well, even though they hold a large responsibility in the management and development of the Karombasan Market in Manado, they cannot do much even though they have already held socialization because of the Traders do not follow the rules that have been made and mutually agreed upon but it doesn't have much of an impact because not many traders participate and the government has carried out socialization for a long time and is no longer held. And also because traders are used to situations like that because from the start of their sales they were not grouped according to the types of sales. The arrangement and development of the Manado Karombasan Market did not run optimally because since the planning, traders were not placed in accordance with the applicable rules or regulations. The government is less firm in following up on the problems faced, such as traders' stalls which are not well organized and do not comply with the rules, traders do not participate enough in the arrangement and cleanliness of Manado's Karombasan Market. The absence of regional regulations governing traditional markets, especially in the city of Manado, makes it difficult for the government to take reference from where to act and manage these markets.

Abstract

Management of basic education Improving the quality of administration in basic education institutions is crucial for the growth of elementary schools. One of the most important parts of education that contributes to better education is development. Institutional advancement is greatly aided by the improvement of basic education administration. Furthermore, the administration of basic education, which is integral to the school improvement procedure, is the purview of school development. Methods for gathering information in this descriptive qualitative study include interviews, observations, and written records. Findings from the study on basic education management now underway at SDN 015 Muara Kaman with the aim of raising the standard of education there, namely in two areas: first, the creation of curricula, and second, the implementation of those curricula.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of teachers, students, and curriculum in the context of classical Islamic education, with a focus on literature analysis from various primary and secondary sources. The main aim of this writing is to describe the contribution of each entity in building a solid foundation for Islamic education. Teachers in classical Islamic education are considered the main pillars in transmitting religious and moral knowledge, while students act as recipients of knowledge who are responsible for understanding and applying these teachings in everyday life. The curriculum in this context is designed to ensure a thorough understanding of Islamic spiritual and ethical values, as well as to develop students' critical thinking. This research methodology involves a comprehensive literature study, analyzing classical texts and secondary literature to explore the relevance and application of educational concepts in the classical Islamic tradition. Thus, this study is expected to provide in-depth insight into the roles played by teachers, students, and curriculum in classical Islamic education and their relevance in the context of modern education
