Abstract

This research has the main problem, namely the lack of use of digital media and the lack of motivation to learn in class V students at SD Negeri 1 Maniskidul. The aim of this research is to find out how learning is implemented using digital flipbook media and how students' learning motivation is after using digital flipbook media regarding light and its properties. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive study design, data collection is carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects studied were the class V homeroom teacher and class V students of SD Negeri 1 Maniskidul, totaling 30 people, namely 15 boys and 15 girls. The conclusion produced during the research was that the implementation of learning using digital flipbook media was researched through observations of teachers and class V students with very good results. Meanwhile, observations and interviews were carried out on fifth grade elementary school students with a total of 30 students, after using digital flipbook media there was an increase in motivation, the results became 2 categories derived from the learning motivation indicators themselves, namely 27 students who met the 8 indicators, and There were 3 students who met the 6 indicators.

Abstract

Civic education in higher education is designed to strengthen students' spirit of state defence through concrete actions that provide benefits to the nation and state. This research seeks to uncover whether the educational materials studied at the higher education level make a positive contribution to inspiring students to make efforts to defend the country. The research method used is a mixture of quantitative and qualitative, the numbers from the questionnaire will be presented quantitatively and the data analysis is presented qualitatively descriptive. The results showed that the lecture material was very influential because 47% ‘strongly inspired’ students to defend the country, then 46% of students rated ‘inspiring’, and 7% ‘moderately inspiring’. As for the answer option ‘less inspiring’, no students chose it. Evidence that the lecture material provides inspiration by compiling an unstructured independent assignment project citizen with a civic engagement approach that has a positive impact on humanity and the natural environment. The evidence is compiled as an individual / group assignment report which is presented in the form of a file in the form of photos / videos accompanied by descriptive explanations and links to uploading the results of activities on social media with the title of the state defence campaign.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of transformational leadership on the development of human resources (HR) in an educational unit. The research method used is a library research approach or literature study, with analysis of relevant literature on transformational leadership and human resource development in the education sector. The research results show that transformational leadership has a positive impact on human resource development in an educational unit. Through high motivation, skill development, increased collaboration and creativity, improved performance, and continuous leadership development, transformational leadership creates an environment that supports individual growth and achievement of organizational goals. However, the implementation of transformational leadership is also faced with challenges and obstacles, such as changes in organizational culture, lack of support from related parties, limited resources, difficulties in measurement and evaluation, unsupportive policies and regulations, lack of leader skills and knowledge, resistance from interest groups. particular, and dependence on individual leaders. In conclusion, transformational leadership has great potential to influence human resource development in an educational unit, but needs to be faced with various challenges and obstacles in its implementation.

Abstract

The objective of this article is to offer a general overview of how face-to-face learning can be utilized in the context of the new normal era and to identify potential learning models that teachers can employ in addressing educational challenges within this era. In the process of developing this article, a literature review method was employed. The data collection process included a comprehensive review of various references from national and international journals that are pertinent to the subject matter under discussion. Upon conducting thorough research, the author will then select, analyze, and present results in a systematic manner. The learning model represents a significant element within the context of learning. As an individual occupying a pivotal role in the learning process, the teacher is responsible for applying an optimal learning model to ensure the successful attainment of learning objectives. A selection of models that can be utilized for learning within the new normal era includes: Three learning models are worthy of mention: Blended Learning, Flipped Classroom, and Hybrid Learning. In applying any of the aforementioned models to the learning process, it is important to consider the specific characteristics of each learner and the abilities of the instructor.

Abstract

Understanding students' level of metacognitive awareness in the process of learning mathematics can assist them in developing their metacognitive abilities and enhancing their mathematical comprehension. Through this research, students' metacognitive awareness is analyzed so that educators can design and develop more effective teaching strategies to address students' difficulties in solving mathematical problems. This study is a descriptive quantitative research conducted to describe the metacognitive awareness of students in the Mathematics Education Study Program at the University of Nias involving a total of 58 students. The data collection technique employed in this research is through the Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) questionnaire. The research findings indicate that metacognitive awareness measured from the cognitive regulation aspect obtained higher scores compared to metacognitive knowledge. In terms of metacognitive knowledge aspect, the highest statement values related to procedural knowledge processes, indicating that students have specific goals for each strategy they use, while the lowest values were found in declarative knowledge processes, stating that students are adept at organizing information. The smallest overall percentage value in the assessment of metacognitive awareness is associated with statements such as slowing down when finding important information and using pictures or diagrams to aid understanding while learning.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the positive experiences of education students related to learning in the Kampus Merdeka program. The research employs a qualitative method, involving 12 participants who are students from the teacher education program. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The findings reveal three main themes identified by the students as positive aspects of learning in the Kampus Merdeka program. First, the flexibility of the curriculum, which allows students to select courses based on their interests and career needs. Second, the innovative quality of instruction, encompassing the use of creative teaching methods and advanced educational technology. Third, the availability of career guidance, which assists students in preparing for their future careers. These findings indicate that the implementation of Kampus Merdeka has a significantly positive impact on the learning experiences of education students.

Abstract

At this time social media is the most popular platform used by teenagers, they use various types of social media, especially Tiktok as a way to entertain themselves when bored and bored. Tiktok is a social media that is widely accessed today because Tiktok not only provides entertainment but also educational benefits. But besides that, there is currently a crisis of legal education shown by the increasing number of law violations by teenagers, this study aims to utilize Tiktok social media, especially on @istilah.law and @harustauhukum.id accounts as legal education media to improve knowledge, attitudes and skills in students at SMA Pendidikan Pembangunan Bangsa Kota Bandung. This study utilizes a qualitative descriptive approach and collects data using questionnaire media, interview techniques, and observation. This research results that Tiktok content on various @istilah.law and @harustauhukum.id accounts that are easy to understand and easily accessible can contribute to increasing knowledge, attitudes and skills

Abstract

This article seeks to find out how the principal implements risk management in developing any changes that occur in an educational institution. In this research, a qualitative approach was used with the key informants in this research being the Principal and Deputy of SMP IT Nurul Ilmi Medan Estate. Meanwhile, the supporting informants in this research were teachers, staff and students of SMP IT Nurul Ilmi Medan Estate. Field data was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. After collecting data, researchers carried out data analysis. Based on findings in the field, it is revealed that the role of leaders in change management includes creating effective working relationships, shifting manager functions, leading by example, influencing others, developing team work, involving subordinates in decision making, making empowerment of subordinates a way of life; and build commitment. Apart from his big role in bringing about change, a leader must also have a mature strategy to make this change a reality

Abstract

Pembelajaran kolaboratif (collaborative learning) sangat dibutuhkan dalam proses pembelajaran untuk memacu motivasi belajar peserta didik. Collaborative learning merupakan model pembelajaran yang mengutamakan kerja sama dan interaksi antarpeserta didik. Selain itu, menumbuhkan keterampilan berpikir kritis saat peserta didik mengeksplorasi pengetahuan dan menemukan solusi suatu masalah dalam kelompok belajar. Pada penerapan collaborative learning sering menemui beberapa kendala yakni kesulitan pengelompokkan peserta didik yang memiliki kebutuhan belajar berbeda-beda. Pendidik masih kesulitan dalam memberikan tugas sesuai kemampuan dengan mempertimbangkan gaya belajar dan minat peserta didik.Kecerdasan buatan (AI) merupakan salah satu alternatif yang memiliki potensi mengatasi kesulitan pendidik untuk mempersonalisasi pembelajaran. Pada penelitian ini akan menemukan paparan pemanfaatan AI bagi pendidik agar lebih mudah membuat program pembelajaran dan peta kompetensi peserta didik. Hal ini akan membantu pendidik menyusun materi pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan interaktif sesuai kebutuan peserta didik. Pada penelitian literatur review ini akan menunjukkan bahwa Integrasi AI dalam Collaborative learning sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik dalam memahami materi yang dipelajari.

Abstract

Women's leadership in study programs can also provide inspiration and motivation for other women to pursue academic and leadership careers. This can help increase accessibility to educational and professional opportunities for women. This method involves an in-depth analysis of eight study programs led by women at one of the Private Universities (PTS) in the city of Samarinda. Researchers can examine how women's leadership influences organizational culture, policies, and study program outcomes. So a case study was carried out in an effort to obtain data related to leadership in eight study programs led by women. Role models that encourage inspiration, female leadership can be powerful role models for students and staff, especially for women, in demonstrating that a successful academic career is achievable for everyone regardless of gender. By inspiring and providing support, female leadership motivates study program members to reach their best potential and contribute to collective success. Women's leadership influences organizational culture, policies and study program outcomes. Women's leadership at private universities in the city of Samarinda not only has a positive impact on the progress and development of study programs, but also strengthens the values of inclusivity, empathy and equality in the academic environment, creating wider opportunities for mutual growth and success.
