Abstract

The Design Thinking approach as a method of problem solving and product innovation is well known in business, management and entrepreneurship. However, various design thinking models created by individual researcher and corporations often confuse users about which model to use. This research was conducted with the aim of observing the suitability of five selected design thinking models to support the development of startups in a business incubator. The research applies qualitative descriptive method using a case study of PT. Jiwa Gelora Juara (PT-JGJ) startup development at the Bakrie University’s UBpreneur business incubator. It observes the design thinking process in the pre-incubation, incubation and post incubation stages. The research findings show that each design thinking model has its own strengths and weaknesses in a certain situation, but most of the models are more suitable implemented in the new product/process development phase. To support the startup’s growth stage, other management tools are needed.

Abstract

Employee’s loyalty is one of problems faced by Hazotel Semarang.  This problem is related to transformational leadership style and organizational commitment.  This research aims to determine the influence of transformational leadership style and organizational commitment on employee’s loyalty at Hazotel Semarang. The independent variables in this research are transformational leadership style (X1) and organizational commitment (X2), where employee’s loyalty (Y) as dependent variable. The type of this research is quantitative research metohod.  To determine the number of the samples, Saturation sampling is used in this research whereas 24 person as the number of all population member are included  in this research.  The source data obtained by the primary data for distributing the questionnaire and secondary data by observation, interview, and literature study. The data collected using questionnaire is based on specified indicators. The result of the partial analysis showed that transformational leadership style has positive influence and significant on employee’s loyalty (t count > t table, 2,553 > 2,074). While organizational commitment has positive influence but not significant on employee’s loyalty, t count < t table, (1,111 < 2,074). The result of the simultan analysis showed that transformational leadership style and organizational commitment has positive influence and significant on employee’s loyalty, F count > F table (7,414 > 3,47).

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of individual characteristics and working environment on employees’ performance of exim department at PT Apparel One Indonesia 2. Questionnaire was used as an instrument of primary data collection which was distributed to 30 respondents. This research employed a multiple regression analysis method. The calculation results of the method determined that the individual characteristics partially has a positive and significant influence on employees’ performance however the working environment has no significant influence on employees’ performance. The individual characteristics and working environment simultaneously influenced employees’ performance with the contribution of 61.9%, while the remaining 38.1% are influenced by other factors which are not included in this study

Abstract

This research is one of the efforts of researchers to develop tourism human resources in Pangandaran beach tourism, the development of tourism human resources in Pangandaran attractions is very important to face the MEA (ASEAN Economic Community), it is hoped that with good tourism human resources can produce resources very large regional income. the purpose of this study is first to find out the intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and the quality of human tourism resources in Pangandaran beach tourism objects, secondly to know the effect of intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence simultaneously on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran beach tourism objects, the third to know the effect of intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence partially on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran beach tourism objects, and the fourth becomes the basis of subsequent research. The method used to achieve the above objectives is an explanatory research method, the use of this method because researchers not only describe the empirical facts found in the field, but also intend to analyze and explain the influence between variables. This research was conducted on tourism human resources in Pangandaran beach tourism objects with a sampling system. The results of this study that the variable of emotional intelligence significantly influence the quality of tourism human resources and that the intellectual intelligence variable significantly influences the quality of tourism human resources and emotional intelligence and intellectual intelligence simultaneously significantly influence the quality of tourism human resources

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of tax knowledge, perception of taxation system effectiveness and tax sanctions on ASN Lecturer taxpayer compliance of income tax art. 21 at Semarang State Polytechnic in reporting SPT. Data analysis that used were instrument test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis test. The sample that used in this study were 80 respondents that choosen using incidental sampling method. Hypothesis test results indicate that tax knowledge and tax sanctions partially influencing the taxpayer compliance in reporting SPT. Meanwhile, the perception of taxation system effectiveness does not influence the taxpayer compliance in reporting SPT. Furthermore, tax knowledge, perception of taxation system effectiveness and tax sanctions simultaneously influencing the taxpayer compliance in reporting SPT. The results of the coefficient of determination indicate that tax knowledge, perception of taxation system effectiveness and tax sanctions influencing the taxpayer compliance in reporting SPT by 43.8%. While the remaining 56.2% of taxpayer compliance in reporting SPT is influenced by other factors which were not observed in this study.

Abstract

This research is based on previous research’s result that there was a image changing of Surakarta City from Batik’s City toward City of traditional Food. There are four objectives of this research, those are; (1) identify Surakarta traditional food’s as functional foods; (2) Mapping the growth of Surakarta’s traditional foods at least five periode; (3) mapping the potential of Surakarta’s traditional foods as a culture heritage’s foods, functional food dan popular foods. (4) mapping the economic potential of Surakarta’s tradisional foods. The objective of this research will be achieved toward analysis primary and secondary datas. Primary datas are obtained by survey method with 200 respondents and analyzed by using BiPlot, Pearson Correlation and Descriptive method. Sencondary datas are obtained from BPS, and Disperindag, and analyzed by using linier regression dan Pearson Correlation.This researh results that the eight of Surakarta’s traditional foods are culture inheritage’s foods, functional foods, favorite foods and have economic potential to rise t Surakarta’s economy growth. Therefore if the Surakarta’s region government should employ three stages to develope these traditional foods as their food city branding. There are clustering analysis, SAP analysis and developing trust (social capital) toward their food city branding.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify the accounting base that is the most appropriate to be applied by the Village Government in the framework of managing and reporting the Village Fund transparency and accountability. The study was conducted through the desk study approach and analysis of journals related to the application of an accounting basis for Government Accounting Standards (SAP). The results of the study showed that the basis of Cash toward Accrual (CTA) is the best applied by the Village Government since the presentation of financial information is more complete than the Cash basis and meets the principles of transparency and accountability. Furthermore, the application of the CTA basis does not incur high costs such as the application of an Accrual basis. Regarding the application of the village reporting accounting system based on CTA, the researcher proposes the need for technical guidance and / or socialization before the adoption of CTA basis so that there are no constraints when applying this CTA basis

Abstract

The development of the internet in Indonesia is one factor in improving the economy in Indonesia. UMKM Aikori Natural Leather Bag Semarang is a micro company engaged in the creative industry that produces handicraft items made from cow leather. Since its establishment in 2011, the company has only introduced its leather craft products offline. So many customers find it difficult to get information about the latest product collections from UMKM Aikori Natural Leather Bag Semarang. To overcome this problem a web was created using one of the CMS (Content Management System) namely Wordpress which can expand market share and also facilitate UMKM Aikori Natural Leather Bag Semarang in managing product sales. The purpose of this research is to build online-based sales media using Wordpress content management system so that it can expand market share that cannot be reached by the previous system. The method used in this research is the System Development Life Cycle, namely Waterfall, where there are several stages, namely requirements definition, system and software design, implementation and until testing, system testing, operation and maintenance. The results of this research show that a good web can contain the latest information so that it can be accessed by customers anytime and anywhere.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the components of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) which consists of people, process, and technology on customer loyalty at PT Tiga Serangkai Pustaka Mandiri General Book (GB) Division Central Java-DIY Branch. Data collection methods in this research by interview, observation, and questionnaires to 51 respondents using purposive sampling technique. Methods of data analysis used are validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression test, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination. The results of this research shows that the variables of people, process, and technology have positive and significant effect both simultaneously or partially on the customer loyalty variable model of multiple linear regression analysis results as follows Customer Loyalty = 3,781 + 0,289 People + 0,320 Process + 0,247 Technology. The results of the analysis obtained Adjusted R2 value of 0.685, this shows that the contribution of independent variables in influencing the dependent variable is 68.5% and the remainder is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of job satisfaction on employee loyalty at the Bina Umat Foundation (YASBU) Al-qomariyah Vocational School at Sodonghilir. The research method used in this research is explanatory research. The use of this method is because the researcher does not only describe empirical facts found in the field, but also intends to analyze and explain the influence between variables. Data collection is obtained through interviews, questionnaires and literature studies. The population in this study were employees of the YASBU Al-qomariah Vocational School.Methods Analysis of the data used is the Multiple Regression Analysis, where data is processed with the help of SPSS. The results of testing the data using the regression equation show the results of the existence of a positive and significant influence variable satisfaction with loyalty. This means that the higher the job satisfaction of an employee, the higher the loyalty of employees of YASBU Al-qomariah Vocational School
