Abstract

The purpose of this research is: (1) to determine the quality of the learning medium of electromagnetic control trainers and learning devices, and learning instruments using problem-based learning models; (2) to know the influence of students ' learning outcomes between the learning media of electromagnetic control trainers and industry panels on student learning outcomes. This type of research used was experimental quasi research with a quantitative approach and a Nonequivalent control group design. The learning outcomes in this study were the results of the study of the cognitive sphere, the study of the affective realm, and the results of learning psychomotor realm. Data collection is with test sheets on pretes and postes for cognitive learning outcomes, observation sheets of students learning attitudes for the results of the affective realm and observation sheets for psychomotor realm learning outcomes. The results showed that: (1) The learning medium of electromagnetic control trainers, learning devices, and learning instruments using problem-based learning models received excellent quality results; (2) Learning results of students who learn to use the learning media of the higher electromagnetic control trainer significantly compared to the learning outcomes of students who learn using industrial panel media.

Data collection is done through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies and literature studies. The analytical method used is qualitative descriptive. The results of the study show that commodification of education in Darussholah High School is very premature because (1) the facilities and infrastructures provided by Islamic boarding schools are very inadequate (2) School facilities and infrastructure Still need additional (3) curriculum still needs improvement and improvement because the school compiling education programs is closely related to the development of Islamic boarding schools with brilliant class programs that have the aim of improving the character of students through deepening religion and technology through general education.

Abstract

The policy making of the five-year strategic plan of its substance, involves participation in the process of policy formulation through Development Deliberation discussion in decentralization of regional autonomy. That is, it delivers the authority of the central government to the autonomous regions in determining the policy (political authority) and implementing the policy (administrative authority), based on local voice and local choice. The local government is expected to identify needs, formulate development goals. The research used qualitative method with ethnography approach by collecting various data from various sources with deep-interview technique. The purpose of the study describes the three things, namely setting agenda, policy formulation and budgeting in a formulation of stakeholders' participation. For contribution: First: participation in development planning in tokenism and elitist party stages, partnerships between communities with bureaucracy and political officials are still subordinate union of partnership. Dialogue held is still pseudo and decision making are not done by bargaining among actors. Second: The quality of planning is still bad, because it has not been able to answer the needs of the community and there is no interconnected substance between documents with one another.

Data collection is done by test techniques and data processing using the t-test formula. The results of the data analysis showed that the average ability or average value of class XI-1 students of the Sekolah Keberbakatan Olah Raga Negeri Aceh in taking the test received 80.7. While the average value of class XI-2 students of the Sekolah Keberbakatan Olah Raga Negeri Aceh in taking the test gets 70. Based on the price of t-counts and t-tables at a significant level of 0.05 with db: 50 of the sample class XI, then t- the count is 6.40 and the t-table is 1.66. So that the hypothesis proposed the implementation of inquiry methods can improve students' critical thinking skills on the concept of the structure and function of plant tissues in the Sekolah Keberbakatan Olah Raga Negeri Aceh is Accepted. It is recommended that this research can increase knowledge through the use of inquiry methods in all biological science subject matter.

Abstract

Natural science and environmental learning in the 21st century require Higher order thinking skills (HOTS). The purpose of this study was to develop an ILMIZI learning model. The method used is research and development carried out in June-July 2019. The results of the study showed that the ILMIZI model syntax consists of 6 stages, start from Identify problem, Limitation problem, Make mind map, Interpret result, Analyze result, Interaction and evaluate. The six stages are the results of development which are expected to have an impact on the rise of HOTS. Validation results from various learning experts and teachers showed a score of 3.74 with a percentage of  93.50%  and a very valid category which means that the ILMIZI model is suitable for use in natural science learning (biology, physics, chemistry) and environmental learning at all levels of education. The conclusion is that the ILMIZI learning model was suitable for learning and expected to have an impact on HOTS students

Abstract

This study is about the effect of rationale application usage as innovative learning application to help the students being critical thinker in writing argumentative text. It was attempted to investigate (1) whether there is any significant difference between students reasoning ability, (2) whether there is any significant difference between students structuring ability, and (3) whether there is any significant difference between students analyzing ability who are taught by using rationale application as found in their argumentative writing and those who are not taught without using rationale. To do so, a quasi-experimental designed was administered to a sample of University students (N=50). In order to answer the research questions, the data are analyzed by using independent sample t-test. SPSS 21 is used to do those statistical analysis. In conclusion, the findings showed that rationale application can be chosen as an alternative media of improving critical thinking in argumentative writing. Abstract

Universities and education now require quality assurance to ensure the quality of education. The implementation of a quality assurance system that already underway requires an internal audit process to ensure the quality process continues. Internal audit has an important role in management. Internal quality assurance is carried out through a cycle of establishing, implementing, evaluating, controlling, and increasing the standards of higher education. "Internal quality audits are part of the cycle of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI). A quality audit is not an assessment/assessment but rather a matching between the implementation and planning of an activity/program."
