Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan atau mendeskripsikan peran guru bahasa Indonesia  dalam gerakan literasi membaca dan menulis pada sekolah menengah pertama SMP NU Al-Ma’ruf Kudus kelas tujuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data primer dalam penelitian ini hasil wawancara yang dilakukan guru bahasa Indonesia dan siswa. Sedangkan data sekunder dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi. Dokumentasi adalah salah satu jenis data sekunder yang umumnya digunakan dalam penelitian. Data sekunder seringkali merujuk pada bentuk elektronik, seperti catatan historis, laporan statistik, survei sebelumnya, atau sumber-sumber lain yang berisi informasi relevan yang diperlukan dalam penelitian. Sumber data yaitu guru bahasa Indonesia dan siswa kelas tujuh SMP NU Al-Ma’ruf Kudus. Hasil dari penelitian ini SMP NU Al-Ma'ruf Kudus telah mengimplementasikan program gerakan literasi yang komprehensif untuk kelas 7, yang melibatkan berbagai kegiatan literasi seperti membaca Al-Qur'an, membaca buku, pengelolaan perpustakaan, dan pojok literasi. Selain itu, peran guru dalam mendukung literasi siswa melibatkan banyak aspek penting. Berikut ini beberapa poin terkait dengan peran guru dalam gerakan literasi di SMP NU Al-Ma'ruf Kudus. Peran guru dalam membaca melalui GLS: (1) membimbing siswa dalam menemukan buku yang tepat (2) fasilitator pembelajaran (3) motivator. Sedangkan peran guru dalam menulis melalui GLS (1) melatih siswa dalam menciptakan karya tulis (2) fasilitator dengan memberikan rasa senang siswa (3) (4)mengevaluasi hasil kerja siswa. Peran guru dalam menulis melalui GLS  sangat penting dalam meningkatkan literasi siswa dan menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung perkembangan literasi yang positif di SMP NU Al-Ma'ruf Kudus. Guru yang memainkan peran dengan baik dalam GLS dapat membantu siswa mengembangkan kemampuan menulis yang lebih baik. Mereka mengajarkan siswa tentang berbagai genre tulisan dan membantu mereka memahami struktur, bahasa, dan konvensi yang terkait dengan masing-masing genre. Akibatnya, siswa dapat menulis dengan lebih baik dan lebih kompeten dalam berbagai konteks. Melalui metode GLS yang menarik dan mendukung, guru dapat membantu meningkatkan minat siswa dalam membaca dan menulis. Siswa yang merasa bahwa menulis adalah suatu hal yang relevan dan bermanfaat akan lebih termotivasi untuk belajar.Kata kunci: GLS, Peran Guru, Menulis dan Membaca

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menganalisis struktur pidato dengan metode Inquiry/Discovery pada siswa kelas IX B SMPN 1 Selong tahun pembelajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas PTK yang terdiri dari 2 siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu 1) tahap perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan, 3) Observasi dan refleksi. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah berupa LKPD dan rubrik penilaian untuk mengetahui kemampuan analisis struktur pidato dan pedoman observasi untuk mengamati proses pembelajaran (tindakan). Keberhasilan tindakan ditentukan dengan melihat peningkatan nilai rata-rata kemampuan menganalisis struktur pidato persuasif pada siklus I ke siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan skor rata-rata menganalisis struktur pidato persuasif sebesar 71 pada siklus I menjadi 78   pada siklus II. Dalam peningkatan aktivitas, terbukti secara signifikan, yaitu skor rata-rata aktivitas pada siklus I, yaitu sebesar 2,65 meningkat menjadi 3,75 pada siklus II. Penggunaan metode Inquiry/Discovery dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menganalisis pidato persuasif dan mutu pembelajaran pada siswa kelas IX SMPN 1 Selong Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas cerpen Satu Keluarga Telah Lengkap karya Bulan Nurguna. Artitkel ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penting konsep keluarga dalam konteks nasionalisme maupun etnisitas. Artikel ini bertjuuan untuk menguji kecederungan wacana yang mengkonstruksi cerpen itu. Artikel ini berkontribusi untuk memperkuat teori mengenai sastra Indonesia Lombok. Studi sastra Indonesia Lombok menemukan bahwa sastra Indonesia mewacanakan Lombok sebagai bagian dari formasi diskursif modern. artikel ini menggunakan teori pascastruktural model analisis wacana. Teori itu mengasumsikan sastra merupakan struktur yang dibentuk oleh sebuah wacana yang dominan pada suatu momone historis atau pada suatu rezim kebenaran. Metode analisis data adalah studi pustaka dan studi wacana. Metode analisis data adalah metode analisis struktur dan analisis wacana. Hasil analisis menemukan bahwa cerpen Satu keluarga Telah lengkap bergerak kea rah modernitas dan atau merupakan produk modernitas. Hasil analisis itu memperkuat teori sastra Indonesia Lombok yang sudah ada.   Kata Kunci: cerpen, struktur, wacana, sastra Indonesia Lombok

Abstract

Rizqi Turama's anthology of short stories ‘Yang Lebih Bijak daripada Peri’ presents interesting stories related to social phenomena that occur in society. The aim of this research is to identify and describe the reality of discrimination and its impact on the lives of the characters in the short story anthology 'Yang is wiser than fairies' by Rizqi Turama. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive research. The data collection technique used was reading short stories and then the data found and identified were recorded. Based on the research conducted, researchers found two forms of discrimination that existed in the story. These discriminations take the form of: direct discrimination which includes social status discrimination, age discrimination and class discrimination. Apart from that, discrimination also comes in the form of indirect discrimination which comes in the form of establishing the status quo. Researchers also found several impacts caused by discrimination, including: loss of work commitment, physical and mental health and loss of freedom of speech.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to reveral the meaning contained in the tradition of uang panai’ which is always viewed from a negative perspective, but there are positive meanings that can be propagated in the tradition. The research method used is a qualitative description with the type of research namely field research. The theory used is Roland Barthes’ semiotic theory which examines denotation and connotation meanings. The result of this study found that the denotative meaning of uang panai’ in Bugis society has been understood as money given to the bride for shopping purposes at the wedding. There are three connotative meanings, namely as a symbol of social strata, a symbol of binding and as a symbol of respect for women.

Abstract

The novel Saman, written by Ayu Utami, is the result of reflection and response to the social conditions of Indonesian society in the 1998 reform era, especially in the context of women’s liberation. This study uses a sociology of literature approach to the social response of the Saman text to social conditions in the post-New Order era. The research data was obtained from the contents of the novel text and the author’s biography. The primary data source used is the novel Saman (1998) by Ayu Utami. This study examines various issues, including Ayu Utami’s sociological background, the social conditions when the work was published, the ideas contained in the novel, and the reflection of society incorporated in Saman’s novel. The results of this study indicate that Ayu Utami is a representative of a society that longs for equality for women and reflects the social situation in 1998. The concordance between the author’s sociological background, social conditions at the time of publication of the work, and the thematic ideas in the novel indicate that Ayu’s novel Saman Utami reflects community life, especially women, in the 1990s.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the effect of constructive play and linguistic intelligence on the beginning reading abilities of children aged 5-6 years at Pembina Kindergarten, Labuhan Haji District. The type of research used is quantitative research with an experimental research method with a 2 x 2 level treatment design. The population of this research is all 28 children in Kindergarten Pembina, the sampling technique is a multistage random sampling technique. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Meanwhile, inferential statistical analysis takes the form of a two-way ANOVA test and a Tukey test with a significance level of α=0.05. The results of this study show that there is an influence of constructive games and linguistic intelligence on initial reading ability with a two-way ANOVA test of fcount= 22,443 > ftable= 4.26. In addition, F (OAB) = 4.690> ftable = 4.26. There is an interaction between constructive play and cognitive style on children's beginning reading abilities with fcount = 300,171 > ftable = 4.26. Based on the results of the Tukey test, Qcount A1B1 = 22.07 > Qtable = 4.60. Tukey test results obtained Qcount A2B2 = 12.59 > Qtable = 4.60. This shows that the group of children who have linguistic intelligence, the beginning reading abilities of children who are given constructive play with image media, H1 in each hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

The implementation of character education on the Merdeka curriculum is reflected in the content of a Pancasila student in any learning by the teacher. The profile of Pancasila student is made up of six components of value that reflect the student's character according to the Pancasila values namely, faith in the almighty God and given a noble motive, reasoning critical, independent, creative, gotong-royong, and global inequality. These six values are then required to be implemented in reading materials. In this article, the Pancasila student value projections will be analyzed in the student book the Indonesian class VII SMP. This is important as a form of criticism of the text presented in the class VII SMP student book because it relates to the text content that should reflect the profile of the Pancasila student. Using data analysis techniques, the article will focus on the short stories text, since it is a student popularity. It is therefore expected to find a concrete form of the application of the Pancasila student profile value on a short stories text presented in the Indonesian class VII SMP. Results and findings following careful text analysis are the profile values of the Pancasila student have incorporated even stories presented very close to the noble character to be inherited.

Abstract

This research discusses language taboos. Language taboo is defined as speech that is prohibited or refers to taboos in action, social or cultural. This research aims to examine the types of women's taboo language on the Instagram account @gitasav which raises the issue of childfree. This research uses the theory of types of language taboo from Timothy Jay which divides language taboo into 7 types. In this research, the focus is on the types of vulgar language taboos and insulting language taboos. The method of providing data used is the observation method using note-taking techniques. The data analysis method used is the matching method and the technique of asking comparisons (HBS) and comparing the main points (HBSP). The results of this research show that the use of taboo language, insults, is more dominant in the comments column of the @gitasav account as a form of disapproval of the childfree issue. In this research, 9 data on women's language taboos were found which were categorized into 3 data types of vulgar language and 6 data types of insults.

Abstract

Illocutionary speech acts are speech acts that are most often encountered in life to help the communication process between speakers and speech partners. Communication that is established usually needs to pay attention to the principles of language politeness. Both studies are not only found in life but can also be contained in novel literary works. This study aims to identify the form and function of illocutionary speech acts and language politeness in the interaction between teachers and students in Andrea Hirata's novel. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data sources in this research are the novels Sang Pemimpi and Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata. The sampling technique is done by purposive sampling technique. This research concludes that there are five forms of illocutionary speech acts in Andrea Hirata's novel, namely assertive illocutionary speech acts, directive illocutionary speech acts, declarative illocutionary speech acts, expressive illocutionary speech acts, and commissive illocutionary speech acts. There are also six maxims based on Geoffrey Leech's theory, namely the maxim of wisdom, the maxim of generosity, the maxim of respect, the maxim of simplicity, the maxim of agreement, and the maxim of sympathy in Andrea Hirata's novel. This research provides a treasure of knowledge about illocutionary speech acts and language politeness in the study of pragmatics.
