Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the publication strategy of SPAN-UM PTKIN on the brand awareness of State Islamic Religious Universities (PTKIN) (Case Study on New Students of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung). This study uses a quantitative approach. The data collection technique involves preparing a pre-designed statement arrangement in the form of a questionnaire survey through Google Form using a five-point Likert scale. The population surveyed in this study consisted of all new students in the Class of 2025 at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Meanwhile, the sample in this study consisted of 318 people selected using a non-probabilistic technique. This study tested the hypothesis using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling technique. The results of the study show that the publication strategy of SPAN-UM PTKIN affects PTKIN's brand awareness. The implications of this result are significant for institutions involved in implementing and promoting Islamic higher religious education in Indonesia. It underscores the importance of strengthening digital publications by the SPAN-UM PTKIN committee in collaboration with the university's public relations.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the integration forms and strategies of the Kulliyatu-l Mu’allimin Al-Islamiyyah (KMI) Gontor Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum at SMA Islam Al-Ishlah Tajug Indramayu. Furthermore, it analyzes the roles of teachers and institutional policies, identifies supporting and inhibiting factors, and examines the impact of this integration on students’ character, academic performance, and independence. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings reveal that curriculum integration is executed through structural and practical approaches. Structurally, the school combines both curricula within learning schedules, teaching modules, and a dual assessment system. Practically, integration is evident in trilingual instruction (Arabic, English, and Indonesian), character-based and project-based learning, and a 24-hour boarding system.

Abstract

This study empirically analyzes the partial and simultaneous influence of compensation and motivation on teacher performance in two private Islamic Junior High Schools (Madrasah Tsanawiyah) in Bandung Regency. A quantitative method employing a census survey approach was applied to the entire population of teachers (N=51). Data analysis utilized Multiple Linear Regression to test the established hypotheses. The results indicate that both compensation and motivation have a positive and statistically significant influence on teacher performance, both partially and simultaneously. A critical finding reveals that the impact of compensation is primarily driven by non-financial dimensions, specifically a supportive work environment and positive collegial relations, which act as essential Hygiene Factors for teacher satisfaction. The two variables jointly contribute significantly to teacher performance (F = 47.161; Sig. 0.000), with a strong predictive capability R2 of 66.3%. The study concludes that teacher performance in Islamic schools is a synergistic function of institutional support. Therefore, performance improvement strategies must prioritize strengthening a supportive work climate (non-financial compensation) as the principal driver of sustained achievement motivation, rather than relying solely on financial incentives.

Abstract

The Wahyu Memandu Ilmu (WMI) paradigm promoted by UIN Bandung represents a model of knowledge integration that positions revelation as the epistemological foundation and scientific inquiry as the medium for academic development. This study aims to analyze the implementation of WMI by emphasizing Rahmatan lil ‘Alamin (RLA) as an axiological orientation manifested through institutional governance, academic policies, and impact-based evaluation mechanisms. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design, examining policy documents, curricula, and the practices of the university’s Tri Dharma at UIN Bandung. The findings indicate that epistemic integration between revelation and scientific knowledge has the potential to strengthen Islamic relevance and enhance academic responsiveness to global challenges. However, the effectiveness of RLA as a scholarly praxis requires the strengthening of institutional capacity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and measurable evaluation indicators to ensure that the values of rahmatan are concretely realized in campus activities.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed educational management, particularly in school public relations (PR). This study aims to describe digital-based public relations management at SMP IT Al-Ghazali Palangka Raya, focusing on planning, organizing, and implementing digital communication programs. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using interviews, observations, and documentation, with the principal and the head of public relations serving as key informants. The findings reveal that digital PR planning is conducted through annual coordination meetings with the foundation, monthly thematic planning, and collaborative weekly discussions. Organizationally, public relations management is structured through a clear division of roles among the principal, the PR coordinator, and a creative team responsible for digital content production. Implementation is carried out through various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, to strengthen two-way communication between the school and the community. The study concludes that digital public relations management at SMP IT Al-Ghazali Palangka Raya effectively builds a positive institutional image through adaptive and participatory communication grounded in Islamic values, such as wisdom (hikmah) and tabayyun, while highlighting the crucial role of principals’ digital literacy in sustaining technology-based innovation in Islamic education.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the System of Internal Quality Assurance (SIQA) in planning the Internal Quality Assurance System of Higher Education (SPMI-PT) based on W. Edwards Deming's 14 Principles at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis of curriculum, human resources, facilities, learning processes, and budgeting. Findings indicate that SIQA strengthens institutional quality culture and academic planning by integrating curriculum data, monitoring learning, and digitizing quality documentation. Deming’s principles are evident in constancy of purpose through Graduate Learning Outcomes (GLOs) and continuous improvement via semester-based evaluation cycles. While transparent assessments help drive out fear, increased administrative workloads remain a challenge for lecturers. SIQA-supported data integration further enhances evidence-based decision-making in budgeting and performance evaluations. Ultimately, SIQA acts as a catalyst, transforming quality planning from a manual, reactive process into a proactive, digital system. This study contributes empirically to applying Deming's principles within digital-based quality assurance in higher education.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation and evaluation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMK Negeri 12 Malang from the perspective of Islamic Education Management. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews with school leaders and teachers, and document analysis. The findings indicate that teachers play a central role not only as curriculum implementers but also as collaborators, evaluators, and reflective practitioners. Curriculum enactment is characterized by cross-subject collaboration, project-based learning, teaching factory programs, and continuous formative evaluation aligned with industry needs. From an Islamic educational perspective, these practices embody core values such as amanah (accountability), syūra (consultative decision-making), itqān (professional excellence), and muhāsabah (reflective self-evaluation), which strengthen both instructional quality and moral development. However, the study also identifies challenges, including administrative workload, uneven teacher readiness, limited infrastructure, misalignment between vocational learning and academically oriented national assessments, and inconsistent industry participation. The study concludes that successful implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in vocational schools depends on sustained teacher collaboration, supportive instructional leadership, strong industry partnerships, and value-based reflective practices. This research contributes an empirically grounded and Islamically informed perspective to the discourse on vocational curriculum reform in Indonesia.

Abstract

The rapid progression of digital disruption necessitates that Islamic educational institutions transform their governance and quality management systems to remain responsive. This study analyzes the resilience of Islamic education quality through three core dimensions: policy adaptation, institutional readiness, and quality sustainability. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach at SDIT Cita Mulia Ajibarang, data were gathered through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation involving school leadership and IT coordinators. The results reveal that policy adaptation is executed through internal regulatory updates and digital platform integration. Institutional readiness remains varied due to infrastructure disparities and fluctuating teacher digital literacy. Quality sustainability is pursued through continuous professional development and the internalisation of Islamic values as an ethical framework for technology use. Quality resilience is constructed through the synergy of strategic innovation, systematic quality assurance, and technology utilization. This research formulates a conceptual framework for quality resilience at the primary school level that integrates managerial and cultural dimensions, moving beyond previous studies that focused primarily on partial technical adoption.
