Abstract

Vascular disease, caused by oxidative stress and endothelial cell inflammation during hypertension's development, produces substantial mortality and morbidity. Mango mistletoe was tested for its effect on pulmonary superoxide dismutase (SOD) in hypertensive rats exposed to DOCA-salt in a preventative model. This study involves experimental quantitative research. SPSS was used for one-way ANOVA and post-hoc LSD testing. The population used was male Wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus). The samples used were 25 male Wistar rats divided into five treatment groups because of the Shapiro-Wilk test for normality analysis. The treatment group included a negative control group, a positive control group, and a group given different doses of mango mistletoe methanol extract: P1 at 75 mg/kgBW, P2 and P3 at 150 mg/kgBW, and P3 at 250 mg/kgBW. The study indicated that 250 mg/kg BW mango mistletoe extract increased SOD levels in DOCA-Garam-exposed Wistar white rats (Rattus norvegicus). Enhanced superoxide dismutase, malondialdehyde (MDA), ureum, creatinine, and renal histology see this. The normality of study data in the complete group assessing SOD, MDA, ureum, and creatinine levels showed a significance value larger than 0.05. The significance probability and one-way ANOVA test values are more than 0.05. The study found that mango mistletoe extract contains saponins, tannins, flavonoids, and triterpenoids that increase SOD levels and repair kidney cells damaged by hypertension in Wistar white rats. The study examined how mango mistletoe extract affects mouse hypertension. However, its conclusions should not be applied to humans. Clinical trials are needed to determine mango mistletoe extract's safety and efficacy for humans.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential of kalelo yogurt as supplementary feeding to prevent stunting. This type of research was pre-experimental with the Post-test only design method with the yogurt formula treatment. The statistical analysis used was Complete Randomized Design (CRD) 3 X 2 followed by Duncan test to see the difference in each formulation. And the organoleptic test of kalelo yogurt was processed using the Analysis Of Variant (ANOVA) test and Duncan test to see the level of difference significant at α level of 0.05. Results: The best formula of kalelo yogurt based on nutrient content was F1, which was consumed simultaneously with other foods to increase its nutritional value. While organoleptic tests showed F3 as the best product, with a rating level of (somewhat dislike-neutral). Based on the test results, the panelists still did not like kalelo yogurt very much, as it can be seen from the results of panelist evaluations ranging from somewhat dislike to neutral (4-5). This could be due to the aroma, taste and texture that were different from a solid yogurt. With increasing incubation time, microbial activity increases and the number of microbes increases, resulting in the pH of the medium decreasing. The best kalelo yogurt product from organoleptic and nutrient content was F3 and F1, respectively. The nutritional, energy and micronutrient content of the three formulas were not significantly different. To fulfill the nutritional needs of sufficient numbers requirements, pregnant women are advised to consume several times a day accompanied by other foods.

Abstract

The implementation of electronic medical records through the Hospital Management Information System Generic Open Source (SIMRS-GOS) Version-2 (V2) developed by Indonesian Ministry of Health has been implemented since 2012. The data shows that the failure rate in using information systems in developing countries is quite high due to the quality and reliability of the system, people and support from the organization. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of SIMRS-GOS at three interrelated levels namely human-technological-organizational factors and their benefits on the quality of electronic medical records. The research design uses a quantitative exploration. The research subjects consist of doctors, nurses and midwives, totaling 235 respondents. The data is obtained through a questionnaire. Statistics analysis uses structural equation modeling. The research results show that there is a significant positive influence among human factors, organizational factors and user satisfaction on behavior intentions; use behavior towards net benefits; net benefits and technology factors on user satisfaction; technological factors and net benefits on behavior intentions through user satisfaction; use behavior towards user satisfaction through net benefits. There is a very strong significant correlation among the three human-technology-organization factors and finally there is a significant influence of net benefits on the quality of electronic medical records. Based on these results, it is concluded that the implementation of SIMRS-GOS is acceptable to users at Brebes District Public Hospital. It is also considered successful and has implications for the quality of electronic medical records.

Abstract

Adolescents go through hormone, physical, psychological, and social changes that often cause emotional turmoil. The effects of emotional upheaval result in adolescents lacking the ability to control emotions, putting them at risk for stress. One of the factors that can minimize stress is emotional intelligence, which is a person's ability to manage emotions. The incidence of stress among adolescents in Central Java Province is 4.7%. Several things, namely problems in school, differences in arguments between parents and children, and relationships with peers, cause stress among adolescents. To know the relationship between emotional intelligence and the level of stress among adolescents in X High School. This research is a non-experimental quantitative research with a cross-sectional research design. Purposive sampling technique was used to select 85 students of X High School as the research participants. Kendall Tau was used to analyze data. There is a relationship between emotional intelligence and stress levels of adolescents at X High School. The results of the analysis with the Kendall tau test obtained p value = 0.000 means p value <0.05. The correlation coefficient or r value = 0.867 shows a very strong negative correlation. Conclusion: A highly significant negative relationship exists between Emotional Intelligence and stress.

Abstract

Burnout syndrome is a response to physical and mental fatigue caused by increased workloads and emotionally demanding work situations that can be triggered by prolonged exposure to workplace stress. Nurses who work in nursing rooms and street nurses are potentially stressed by overloaded job demands related to service to others. Burnout syndrome, if not addressed promptly, can have a hazardous impact on health professionals, including reduced performance, such as low responsibility, high risk of medical errors, reduced commitment to work, and high self-stress. One of the efforts that can be made is to measure the level of work stress and the factors associated with it. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting research that analyzes factors that influence burnout rates among nursing nurses in private hospitals in Surakarta. This type of research is quantitative research with a cross-sectional research design. The sampling technique in this study uses total sampling with a total sample of 47 respondents. The respondents to this study were all the nurses who worked in the adult nursing establishment of the hospital where the research was carried out. The Oldenburg Burnout Inventory questionnaire, which has been adapted into Indonesian, is used to measure the burnout rate of nurses working in adult nursing rooms. The results of the study showed that of the eight factors tested, only two factors influenced the burnout rate of nurses in adult nursing facilities: the working time factor and the length of shift per week (in hours). The p-value of both factors was 0.001. Of the two factors, the time factor was the most influential factor on burnout rates in nurses in adult hospital facilities, with an unstandardized B value of 0.317. While the study examines several demographic and work-related factors potentially associated with burnout, it may overlook other critical determinants. For instance, organizational factors (e.g., leadership support, workload distribution, organizational culture) and individual coping mechanisms could significantly influence nurses' burnout experiences. Future research should consider a more comprehensive range of factors to provide a holistic understanding of burnout in nursing.
