Abstract

It turns out that education held in elementary schools still experiences many obstacles. The obstacles in question include the lack of professional teachers, low student ability, limited infrastructure, and so on. This is the kind of thing that is still being experienced by SDN KI Hajar Dewantara 01. Therefore, the aim of this service is that the team wants to inform the school about the causes of students' low ability in numeracy literacy. Apart from that, the team wants to provide solutions to teachers to improve students' abilities, especially in terms of strengthening numeracy literacy. Not only that, another goal is that the team wants to increase teachers' knowledge in adapting technology for learning. This service includes solving cases so that the suitable method used to analyze data is descriptive qualitative. The research results show that it is not enough to rely solely on school teachers to increase the strengthening of numeracy literacy. For this reason, contribution, collaboration and consistency from various interested parties are needed. Thus, the success of education at the elementary level needs to be fought for better continuity of further education.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) in Indonesia has been detected to be increasing in recent years. Community involvement in tackling TB disease is very necessary. Child TB cases are not clearly visible if the family does not understand the signs and symptoms they cause. There is a need for knowledge regarding early detection of pulmonary TB in children through TB screening. In an effort to reduce the increase in children's TB, the participation of the family is needed, especially the mother who is currently the closest to the child. The aim of this community service is to increase the knowledge of housewives in early detection of TB disease in children. Community service activities include counseling, presentation of material, simulations and applying TB screening tests directly to children. This activity is carried out by 20 housewives from each RT, represented by 2 people. The activity lasts for 2 days. Empowerment and education through counseling proven to be able to increase the knowledge of housewives in carrying out TB screening in children in the area. It was found that the number screened was 152 children, consisting of cases without risk, 111 children, at risk/exposed: 26 people at risk, 15 people. It is hoped that this empowerment of housewives can continue optimally and sustainably so that the results of the discovery of suspected TB cases in children can be followed up by health workers at Community Health Centers in an effort to prevent and reduce the incidence of TB in children.

Abstract

Presently, multiple educational options exist for both primary school and higher education. The entire education system is designed to assist students in cultivating a range of abilities or intelligences inherent in each individual, encompassing mental and physical aspects. This concept is usually referred to as "Multiple Intelligences." Spatial visual intelligence is a form of intelligence that can visualize objects and possesses cognitive benefits in processing information through mental imagery. The parenting style employed by parents also influences children's intellectual ability. Based on interviews with foundation managers, it has been seen that due to online learning, youngsters affiliated with the foundation end up reverting to life on the streets, resorting to begging. Before the COVID-19 outbreak, the charity organized various programs and training sessions to enhance street children's skills. Several measures are implemented to diminish the inclination of street children to return to the streets. Nevertheless, given the prevailing circumstances, these activities have significantly reduced, resulting in children reverting to the streets as beggars, often with the consent of their parents. The foundation management anticipates providing training programs to cultivate children's intelligence, encompassing cognitive and emotional aspects. Furthermore, the foundation management seeks to provide parental education to parents of these youngsters. A service program was implemented to address these issues. It involved providing parenting education and teaching children how to draw to enhance their visual-spatial intelligence. The practice yielded a 60.4% increase in parents' knowledge and improved children's drawing skills. All participants attended this activity without exception. Therefore, this service program action was successful.

Abstract

As times progress more rapidly, the existence and contribution of intellectual products, such as books and written works, in shaping the identity and progress of a society is becoming increasingly significant. However, with advances in technology and globalization, challenges to the security and protection of intellectual work rights are increasingly complex. It underlies the urgency of registering Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) as a real effort to protect creators' rights, motivate innovation, and build the foundation of a knowledge-based economy. Unfortunately, many academic lecturers do not realize the importance of having a creation registration letter. Some are aware but do not yet know the steps for managing copyright. Therefore, this community service is carried out as a presentation at a national seminar held by the Indonesian PkM Lecturer Association, which is carried out online to disseminate knowledge and information related to IPR. The participants are lecturers from all over Indonesia. Two general pieces of information are presented in the form of (1) education on the importance of IPR and the types of works that are protected and (2) steps for managing IPR and the documents required. It is hoped that this service activity can increase public awareness in general and academic lecturers in particular that IPR registration is not only a legal requirement but also a strategic step to form a society that respects creativity protects the rights of creators and encourages sustainable economic growth. Thus, this activity contributes to advancing knowledge in this country.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are a type of small business that play a significant role in improving and growing the community's economy. One of the MSMEs in West Sumbawa Regency that is a partner in this PKM program is the Ana Macrame Craft Business Group. Current marketing at Mitra still mostly uses traditional marketing methods due to a lack of ICT mastery, which causes a lack of competitiveness compared to other modern and online-based craft businesses, especially competitiveness to attract the attention of young people who are considered consumptive and rely more on online shopping. In the field of financial management, partners have not recorded business financial transactions and have not prepared financial books. This can cause the partner not to know exactly how much the business is developing and how much the value of the partner's business assets is compared to the revenue generated or cash availability. The worst risk from this condition is that the Partner's business could go bankrupt in the future This activity aims to improve the partners' skills in digital marketing and business financial management. It is hoped that through optimizing digital marketing, Partners can expand their marketing reach to various regions in Indonesia. Meanwhile, through good business financial management, it is hoped that partners can control business continuity and develop the business in the future. The results and outcomes of this activity are for digital marketing management, partners have a website landing page and domain hosting while in financial management partners input financial reports on the "ACCURATE ONLINE" software
