Abstract

The objectives of study is to find out whether there is an improvement in students’ vocabulary mastery after using advertisement language to the first grade student of SMks Khazanah Kebajikan in academic year 2020/2021. The design research was pre-experimental research by giving pre-test, treatment, and post-test. The population of this research are the student of first grade of SMKs Khazanah Kebajikan in academic year 2020/2021. The sample of this research class of 10 AP. the value of t-calculation (3.97) was higher than the value of t-table (2.093) at the significance level 0.05, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted (3.97>2.093). There is a significant difference between teaching vocabulary through advertisement and teaching vocabulary without Advertisement. Therefore, teaching vocabulary through Advertisement effectively enriches students' vocabulary mastery. The Advertisement significantly affects the students of 10th AP grade of SMKs Khazanah Kebajikan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Two Stay Two Stray learning model in improving Indonesian learning outcomes in grade V SDN 24 Temmalebba, Bara District, Palopo City. The research method applied was Classroom Action Research (CAR), with two cycles carried out in three actions. Furthermore, the results obtained by the students after implementing the guided writing strategy in cycle I were not yet complete, so it was deemed necessary to carry out further actions, namely, cycle II. Furthermore, in cycle II the skills of children in Indonesian language lessons increased significantly; the average score of students was 80. The results showed an increase in Indonesian learning outcomes.

Abstract

Permasalahan pokok yang menjadi fokus penelitian ini adalah rendahnya Hasil Belajar Materi Apresiasi puisi siswa Kelas VIII-F SMP Negeri 1 Rancaekek. Dari studi awal yang dilakukan di sekolah, ditemukan beberapa indikator yang menunjukkan rendahnya Hasil Belajar Materi Apresiasi siswa di sekolah. Secara umum tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan kajian tentang upaya meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Materi Apresiasi puisi siswa kelas VIII-F SMP Negeri 1 Rancaekek menggunakan Model Think Talk Write (TTW). Subjek penelitian ini dilaksanakan dikelas VIII-F SMP N 1 Rancaekek dengan siswa berjumlah 24 siswa dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini yang melalui 2 siklus perbaikan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitain Pada siklus I nilai siswa yang berhasil mendapatkan nilai KKM yaitu sebanyak 32%. Sedangkan pada perbaikan pembelajaran di siklus II siswa yang berhasil mencapai KKM 90%. Dengan kesimpulan bahwa hasil pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi apresiasi puisi dapat meningkat dengan menggunakan metode think Talk Write.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find the category of Teacher Talk (TT) in EFL (English as Foreign language) class at English Language Study Program at Indonesian Muslim University. Specifically for the Teacher Talk category, this study focuses on how many Teacher Talk categories appear in class for seven times each. This research was conducted in the EFL (English Education Study Program Class) Faculty of Literature at UMI. The participants of this study were 1 (one) English Education lecturer. While students who became participants were fifth semester students from C1 class that consists of 30 students. Data in this study were collected using video and audio recordings. Video and audio recordings are used to collect the Lecturer Teacher Talk category. Video recordings in this study were used to obtain a natural picture of class interaction. The results of this study are 7 categories of Teacher Talk displayed by Lecturers when interacting in class, namely: (1) starting or opening a class; (2) provide an explanation; (3) Give instructions; (4) Asking questions; (5) Encourage and motivate; (6) Provide Reinforcement; and (7) Closing.

Abstract

During the covid-19 pandemic, all institutions had a high dependency on information technology. Network strength is very important. Thus, an internet network technology course was conducted for information technology personnel of the Indonesian Navy. The training is conducted online. Studied learning success is associated with the initial data held, namely rank, gender, work experience in the field, previous education and learning activities, and age of participants. The data was clustered with the final test results to determine the clustering of training results and these factors. Based on the clustering it can be stated a good grouping of learning success in this pandemic period. From the 75 personnel data, we could made 5 clusters. Recommendation for internet network tools online training, especially in internet network technology, is that the participants of the course should have experience in internet and network, young and have good education level at least high school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tunjangan profesi guru terhadap terhadap profesionalisme guru di madrasah tsanawiyah negeri 6 Padang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex post facto yang melibatkan 127 guru. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Sebelum digunakan instrument tersebut dilakukan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas. Selanjutnya data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data regresi linier sederhana, untuk pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dengan program SPSS versi 20. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.015 dimana nilai signifikansi ini lebih kecil dari < probabilitas 0,05. Selain itu, juga diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 2,459 lebih besar dari > nilai t-tabel 1,984. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis yang dilakuan baik dari segi membandingkan nilai signifikasi (Sig.) dengan probabilitias 0.05 maupun membandingkan nilai t hitung yang diperoleh dengan nilai t tabel maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh tunjangan profesi guru secara signifikan terhadap profesionalisme guru di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 6 Padang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran guru dengan menggunakan mobile learning berdasarkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournaments di MTsN 2 Maros. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus selama lima minggu secara efektif. Hasil siklus I menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pembelajaran guru tergolong dalam kategori sedang, sedangkan pada siklus II kualitas pembelajaran guru tergolong dalam kategori tinggi. Dari siklus pertama ke siklus kedua mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan mobile learning berbasis model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournaments dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran guru di MTsN 2 Maros. Selain peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran guru, hasil belajar siswa juga menunjukkan peningkatan dari kategori sedang ke tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan menulis teks berita melalui penerapan teknik pengamatan langsung pada siswa, Dengan teknik pembelajaran ini siswa menjadi lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis teks berita, dan hasil belajar siswa dapat dapat ditingkatkan sehingga memperoleh hasil yang maksimal. Adapun subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 11 Maros Baru yang berjumlah 30 orang yaitu 15 siswa laki-laki dan 15 siswa perempuan. Hasil penlitian pada siklus pertama ketuntasan belajar yang dicapai hanya 26,66% sehingga dinyatakan belum mencapai KKM yaitu 75. Sementara siklus kedua melalui penerapan teknik pengamatan langsung mengalami peningkatan sebesar 13,34% ini menunjukkan telah tercapainya ketuntasan belajar yaitu sebesar 40% dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata 84,2. Sehingga, siswa yang memperoleh keterampilan menulis teks berita dalam kategori kurang hanya satu siswa dan tidak ada siswa yang memperoleh kategori sangat kurang. Baiknya nilai rata-rata pada siklus kedua didukung oleh terjadinya peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan hasil belajar mencapai 96,66%.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the Evaluation of Learning Online and Its Influence on Improving the Quality of Student Learning in the Covid-19 pandemic. The method of this research used the CIPP evaluation model. Data collected by using questionnaires and interviews. Analysis data used quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results showed that the context aspect regarding the media and learning facilities that lecturers use in online learning is an appropriate category according to the needs and convenience of students in accessing the application. The input aspect regarding students' understanding of the use of online applications in learning, the quality of the material delivered by the lecturer in an online class, regarding the facilities is in the appropriate category and quite good. The process aspect regarding activities between lecturers and students, obstacles in the learning process, the use of online learning facilities, and the implementation of the learning system are well or appropriate. However, it still needs to get more attention from the teaching staff, especially since the assessment process for students is sometimes still subjective. The product aspect regarding the impact of knowledge possessed by students and lecturers about the use of online learning applications and the results of the implementation of learning is appropriate or good enough. So the conclusion is the four aspects of CIPP evaluation (context, input, process, product) that researcher used in evaluating online learning are in the appropriate category (Effective enough), and it gives a positive impact on improving the quality of students, especially in the process of using online learning applications and According to the lecturer, further learning will combine offline and online so that students can make this a new habit in the learning process.

Abstract

English Textbook is the one important thing for teaching English in the school. Thus, the teacher should know that English textbook function and the philosophical foundation. This study aimed to find out the philosophical foundation of Buku Bahasa Inggris for Senior High Schools Grade XII 2018 revision. This study used content analysis inferential. The object of the study was English textbook “Buku Bahasa Inggris” for Vocational High School grade XII 2018 revision. The step of the study began to read the English textbook, making note, coding the data, collecting the data, categorize and classify and analysis. Sample of this textbook were 4 chapters of 11 chapters that were chapter 1,2,3 and 5. Inferential data of this study that found by using construct analysis. The result of construct analysis show some conclusion. Based on analysis content inferential, the researcher found six of philosophical foundation of English textbook of Buku Bahasa Inggris for Vocational High School Grade XII 2018 revision. They were Progressivism, Social Reconstruction, Humanism, Existentialism, Perennialism, and Essentialism. Thus, Progressivism, Social Reconstruction and Humanism were the most appearing on the English textbook “Buku Bahasa Inggris”. The researcher conclude that the English textbook applied student centered learning and problem solving where we can find from the English textbook.
