Abstract

The objective of this research is to improve the understanding of the struggle of the warriors in the Dutch colonial period by applying Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on students of V grade SD N Surakarta academic year 2017/2018. This research uses qualitative approach by doing classroom action research with cycle model. The data were collected by doing observation, interview, test, and documentation. The validity of the data is using content validity, triangulation technique including source triangulation and technique triangulation. The data analysis technique in this research uses interactive analysis model that includes data reduction, data display, verification. The conclusion of this research was the implementation of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model, it can improve the understanding of the struggle concept of the warriors during the Dutch colonial period on students of V grade SD N Surakarta academic year 2017/2018.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using discussion methods on student learning outcomes. This research was conducted through a cycle assessment process consisting of four stages (planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting) in three cycles of learning improvement. Cycle I was carried out on Monday, October 26, 2020, cycle II was held on Monday November 2, 2020 and cycle III was carried out on Friday November 20, 2020. From the results of the analysis of the conclusions obtained from this study: Use of the discussion method in Indonesian language learning The subject matter of explanatory text is proven to improve student learning outcomes, the average formative test in the initial conditions is 55, in cycle I it increases to 74.33, in cycle II it increases again to 82.5 and in cycle III it increases again to 88.63 . Completeness of student learning has increased from the initial conditions 33.33% increased in cycle I to 50%, increased again in cycle II to 66.67 and increased again in cycle III to 100%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in learning theme 3 in grade IV elementary schools using Cooperatif learning models. The research conducted was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of three cycles. The stages of each cycle were planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Each meeting is carried out an assessment of knowledge, skills and attitudes to determine the development of students. In cycle I, students who completed after carrying out the knowledge assessment were 69%. In cycle II students who completed after carrying out the knowledge assessment were 84%. In cycle III students who completed after carrying out the knowledge assessment were 93%. These results indicate that the use of video media can improve student learning outcomes, especially the theme of Class IV at SDN 1 Candinata.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ability of students in creative thinking in entrepreneurial learning class IV Krakal 3 Elementary School 2019/2020. The design of this research is simple descriptive. The object of research is the ability to think creatively in entrepreneurial learning with indicators of fluency thinking, flexible thinking, original thinking and elaborative thinking. The research subjects were grade IV students with 20 students. Data analysis was performed using descriptive techniques and existing data in the form of qualitative data from observation sheets and student questionnaires which were then described. The results showed that overall creative abilities included thinking fluency that was already good with a percentage of 78.75%, flexible thinking also showed quite good results with a percentage of 64.37%, Original Thinking was categorized quite well with a percentage of 68.12%, and Thinking Elaborative categorized quite well with a percentage of 70.62%. This shows that students are able to think creatively in entrepreneurship learning.

Abstract

The Samin community was phenomenal, because the actualization of their noble values was able to make the Dutch colonialists inconvenient, even when the Indonesian nation became independent, and the Indonesian state was established until now. The purpose of this research is to explore the noble values of the Samin people, then they are used as role models in developing the character of citizens. The research was conducted with a descriptive qualitative design. The research subjects were traditional elders, community leaders, families and other parties who had interacted with the Samin community. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed by referring to an interactive model. The research findings explain that the noble values of the Samin community include: (a) honesty; (b) simple / prasojo; (c) extension; (d) mutual cooperation; (e) rilo, selfless, sincere; (f) friends; diligent, tenacious and painstaking; (g) ora drengki, srei, dahpen kemiren; (h) independence; and (i) fair. Based on these findings, it is suggested (1) the noble values of the Samin community be used as a reference in developing the character of citizens; and (2) character education practice must be preceded by determining the main values.

Abstract

School literacy movement is one of the efforts to increase students' interest in reading and writing, so it needs to be applied in elementary school. This study aims to analyze the constraints with regard to implementation of the school literacy movement at SDN 2 Kalibening, Karanggayam,  Kebumen. This research is a descriptive study with research subjects involving 1 principal, 3 classroom teachers (grade 4, 5 and 6) and 15 students (grades 4, 5 and 6) state elementary school 2 of Kalibening. The research instruments used were questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis technique uses qualitative descriptive. The results showed that: (1) School literacy movement was still focused on literacy aspects of reading textbooks, (2) Teachers were less maximal in assisting students when implementing school literacy movements, and (3) The lack of facility to support the school literacy movement.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve concepts comprehension two dimentional figure character through the implementation of cooperative learning model type Make a Match. The source of the data comes from teachers, students, and researches. The data collection technique is by test, interview, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data used content validity and data triangulation. The data analysis used interactive data analysis by Miles and Huberman (2014) which consist of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this research is the average scores that students classical mastery cycle I and cycle II increased. The average scores is 87,5 in cycle II with students classical mastery 88,89% or 16 students of 18 students is completed. The conclusion of this research is through the implementation of cooperative learning model type Make a Match can improve concepts comprehension mathematics leaning about two dimentional figure character.

Abstract

This study aims to improve speaking skills through the use of audiovisual media in class IB SD Negeri Suro, Kalibagor District. Speaking skills observed in this study include linguistic and non-linguistic aspects. In the linguistic aspect, it consists of stress, speech, vocabulary / diction, and sentence structure, while in the non-linguistic aspect it consists of fluency, disclosure of speech material, courage and attitude. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of 2 cycles. The subjects of this study were 22 students of SD Negeri Suro class IB. The research design used includes the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The data collection instruments used were performance tests, teacher and student observation sheets and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative data analysis. This study shows that the use of audiovisual media can improve the speaking skills of grade IB SD Negeri Suro students in terms of process and outcome. The process improvement is seen from the average results of student activity observations which are included in the good category in the first cycle with a percentage of 45.5% increasing in the second cycle to 68% and are included in the very good category. In terms of results, it is evidenced by the average value of students' speaking skills in pre-action 67.54 increased to 73.05 in cycle I and increased to 75.64 in cycle II. This shows that students' speaking skills increased from cycle I to cycle II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe sramble dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran ppkn. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan sampel yaitu dengan mengggunakan cara nonprobability sampling dengan teknik sampling purposive,. Metode pengumpulan data yag digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar, observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe scramble pada pembelajaran PPKn yaitu 52 dari skor tertinggi 60 ( kategori tinggi ). Adapun skor akhir hasil belajar siswa  mengalami kenaikan yang signifikan yaitu pada pra-siklus rata-rata nilai siswa 57, 15  dari nilai 5 siswa yang tuntas  dan 21 siswa tidak tuntas, sedangkan pada saat siklus I mencapai rata-rata  73,31  dari 11 siswa yang tuntas dan 10 siswa yang tidak tuntas sedangkan  hasil siklus II yaitu dengan rata-rata nilai siswa 82,54  dari 18 siswa yang tuntas dan 5 siswa yang belum tuntas.

Abstract

This paper seeks to investigate the position of gotong royong (mutual cooperation) in Pancasila and its relevance as peace education in social studies learning. This paper is an effort as well as an offer to build an inclusive culture in order to solve the problems of bullying and intolerance in education. This paper used qualitative method with literature study approach by analyzing literatures related to the research corpus, i.e. Pancasila, mutual cooperation, peace education, and social studies learning. The results showed that mutual cooperation as the core principle of Pancasila is a treasure of Indonesian culture which is closely related to the substance of divine values, deliberation and consensus, kinship, justice and tolerance (humanitarianism). These values have strategic values to be conveyed in the social studies learning process in the classroom in order to foster a culture of peace for students.
