Abstract

This study examines how the development model of the data soban application is used to provide public services to the people of South Kalimantan for the welfare of the community. Descriptive research is research used by researchers in this study. Researchers describe facts, data, and information obtained from literature studies such as books, journals, and research results related to the research topic. In this study, it is explained that along with the development of technology and information, people's demands for the availability of fast, accurate, and factual information are increasing. This is also felt by the South Kalimantan Social Service as part of the local government tasked with improving the welfare of the community through various programs, one of which is distributing social assistance funds to people in need. South Kalimantan Province has 26 PPKS and 12 PSKS must be recorded accurately and factually. The goal is that the funds that are channeled are right on target. Therefore, the Social Affairs Office of South Kalimantan in collaboration with Kominfo developed an application model named Datu Soban which is used to facilitate public services and overcome the above problems to improve the welfare of the people of South Kalimantan.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a productive vocational program model to shape the entrepreneurial character of graduates. The design applied in this research is research and development. The results of the application of the research and development approach, in the areas of expertise in Technology and Engineering, Tourism, and Business and Management, can develop a productive vocational program learning model that includes three aspects, namely learning materials, learning methods, and evaluation of productive learning outcomes. Learning materials need to be designed by focusing on productive activities (making or creating products, both goods and services) that emphasize the entrepreneurial character, learning methods are assignment or project-work, and evaluation of learning outcomes needs to apply performance evaluation techniques by emphasizing process and product evaluation. Based on the results of the study, it is suggested: to ensure that vocational graduates enter DU/DI and work independently, it is necessary to be equipped with entrepreneurial productive competencies; and so that the learning outcomes of entrepreneurship can be put into real practice in DU/DI or starting a business, it is necessary to choose a learning model that is considered effective to be applied in learning.

Abstract

Samarinda is the capital city of East Kalimantan Province. Geographically the location of Samarinda City is very strategic, thus making Samarinda a city of services, industrial trade and settlements with environmental insight. As the capital, the rapid urbanization and migration from other areas has spurred the development of settlements which tend to deviate from the concept of sustainable development without proper mitigation. This incident resulted in the frequency of flood disasters in Samarinda City being increasingly encountered by the public. The flood disaster hampers the traffic activities of people's lives and causes losses suffered by the community. The Samarinda City Government must pay attention and make efforts to improve and restore governance in flood control strategies. So that flooding in Samarinda City can be mitigated and prevented in order to create a flood-free on Samarinda City. This reasearch intends to formulate a strategy of flood control in the city of Samarinda using the theory of the strategy proposed by Bryson, with a qualitative descriptive ap- proach. Data collection through interviews and documentation.

Abstract

Vocational High Schools (SMK) are required to be able to improve the quality of graduates by increasing practical learning programs, but basically the implementation of practice in schools is still not optimal which makes graduates not in accordance with what is needed by the industrial world. teaching factory is referred to as a factory in a school where the process and suggestions for learning through practice are in accordance with the industrial world. Teaching factory is expected to be a solution to be able to create vocational graduates in accordance with industry standards. However, in the implementation of the factory teaching program there will always be obstacles and problems, so evaluation is needed. The purpose of this research is to find out how the teaching factory program runs so that it is always good. The type of research used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. qualitative descriptive method with the subjects in this study were teachers and students of SMK N 6 Padang. The results of the research evaluation can be seen that the CIPP model, known as the factory teaching program, has been running well. Based on research on the evaluation of the teaching factory program at SMK N 6 Padang, overall the teaching factory program has been implemented well, although it is not perfect, there are still things that must be improved and developed so that the teaching factory implementation can run well. factory continues to run well in accordance with the objectives of the factory teaching program.

Abstract

Final evaluation is a scientific work that is a requirement for students of the Politeknik Negeri Pontianak (Polnep) Business Administration Major to obtain an academic degree. As the person in charge of a final evaluation, supervisors and examiners have an important role in ensuring students are able to create a qualified final evaluation. Therefore, the diversity of titles and fields of final evaluation proposed by students needs to be combined with lecturers who have synchronized scientific disciplines and experiences. The manual determination of supervisors and examiners has the opportunity to be affiliated with subjective factors. The support system, which can essentially be used as a guide, explanation and reinforcement of a decision, has the opportunity to eliminate subjective factors that arise during decision making. The design of the support system was carried out based on five criteria that were calculated with a multi-criteria decision-making method, namely the Best Worst Method (BWM). Based on the results of system testing with 40 lecturer data and 231 student final evaluation proposal data, the support system could recommend supervisors and examiners that were in accordance with the student’s proposed final evaluation field.

Abstract

This aims of study to determine the short-term and long-term effects of the Dow Jones Industrial Average, Nikkei 225, Hang Seng Index and the Jakarta Composite Index (JKSE). The data analysis technique uses the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). The results showed that in the long term the Dow Jones Industrial Average variable had a significant negative effect on the JKSE while in the short term the Dow Jones Industrial Average had no effect on the JKSE, in the long term the Nikkei 225 variable had a positive and significant effect on the JKSE, while in the short term the Nikkei 225 did not. has an influence on the JKSE, in the long term the Hang Seng variable has a negative and significant effect on the JKSE, while in the short term the Hang Seng Index variable has no effect on the JKSE. In the short term the Dow Jones Industrial Average variable has a relationship with the Nikkei 225 variable, and the Nikkei 225 variable has no significant effect on the Hang Seng variable, while in the short term the Dow Jones Industrial Average variable has no relationship with the Hang Seng variable. This study proves that in the long term the stock index of a country with a strong economy will affect the stock index of other countries, the negative impact of this finding is that the economy of a country is easily affected by economic crises that occur in other countries.

Abstract

Storytelling is a part of human life long before writing. In the digital era, where images, audio, video, and text are used together, it unlocks new possibilities in delivering narratives, for instance, games. Narrative-based games have a long history. With increasingly sophisticated graphics technology, making it more and more popular. This study demonstrates a unique approach to game narrative design using the narrative inquiry method. Narrative Inquiry captures and analyzes life stories, then documents life events in their quintessence. The game tells the story of young entrepreneurs' journey in building their business, focuses on the elements of entrepreneurial skills required, and aims to motivate the entrepreneurial intention of the players. This research was conducted in three stages: narrative collection, narrative analysis, and scenario creation. Interviews were conducted with four young entrepreneurs from various businesses to collect narratives. Narrative analysis was carried out using a thematic approach. The narratives were transcribed, categorized, and cross-referenced among stories. The results were compiled as a game plot, then developed into a complete scenario with attention to the original narrative text. This example will provide a fresh perspective to designing game narratives from real life stories.
