Abstract

The focus of the problem in this study is the analysis of language errors at the morphological level in the June 17, 2023 edition of the Tribun Medan newspaper. The purpose of this study is to describe the analysis of language errors in the field of morphology in the Tribun Medan newspaper. This research method is qualitative research using a descriptive type. The data collection technique used is to read repeatedly the Tribun Medan newspaper, code any errors in the field of morphology, and record language errors in the field of morphology. This research method is qualitative research using a descriptive type. Based on the results of the analysis carried out, it can be concluded that there are errors at the morphological level consisting of 10 data which include: errors in the use of words in the abbreviation of morph me-, word formation with confixes di -...-kan, word writing/placement of wrong letter writing.

Abstract

The imaginative learning model is a learning model that invites students to express all their ideas, opinions, imagination or imagination into written form. Writing short stories is very important in student learning in class IX using the Imaginative learning model. It is hoped that the imaginative learning model can be used as fully as possible in developing students' interest in learning, especially in making short stories and making students active and creative in class by maximizing the empowerment of their minds. This research uses quantitative experimental methods, this method seeks to collect and interpret data in a precise, measurable, reasonable and systematic manner. The results of research that has been carried out on learning to write short story texts using an imaginative learning model, which occurs in the learning process makes it easier for students to understand the material and student learning outcomes increase. The reason is that students imagine more and express their ideas so that the learning they do attracts students' attention and influences students' interest in learning and students give each other opinions obtained from each other's observations and learning is more active. Apart from that, students are also supported by the motivation provided by the teacher. This can be proven from the results of hypothesis testing and data analysis that has been carried out to obtain tcount ttable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran role playing terhadap kemampuan menceritakan kembali teks fabel pada siswa kelas VII MTs Nurul Huda Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2022/2023. Lokasi penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MTs Nurul Huda Medan yang beralamat di Jl. Jamin Ginting Km.8 Kelurahan Kwala Bekala Kecamatan Medan Johor. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII yang berjumlah 100 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII-A yang berjumlah 28 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menerima pembelajaran menggunakan model role playing dan kelas VII-B yang berjumlah 36 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol yang menerima pembelajaran menggunakan model ceramah. Metode penelitian ini bersifat eksperimen menggunakan posttest only control design. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa tes lisan yaitu dengan menceritakan kembali teks fabel. Berdasarkan teknik analisis data, dapat diketahui bahwa kemampuan menceritakan kembali teks fabel dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran role playing memperoleh nilai rata-rata rata 85,93 dibuktikan dengan rincian 76-100 berjumlah 23 siswa dengan presentase 82,14% dan 51-75 berjumlah 5 siswa dengan presentase 17,86%. Sedangkan kemampuan menceritakan kembali teks fabel menggunakan model pembelajaran ceramah dengan nilai rata-rata 61,97 dibuktikan dengan rincian 76-100 berjumlah 3 orang dengan presentase 8,33% dan 51-75 berjumlah 33 siswa dengan presentase 91,67%. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis nilai uji t maka diperoleh  yaitu 12,75 1,670 sehingga Ha pada penelitian ini terbukti dan diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh model role playing terhadap kemampuan menceritakan kembali teks fabel pada siswa kelas VII MTs Nurul Huda Medan tahun pembelajaran 2022/2023.

Abstract

 Oral literature as a culture has grown and cultivated in a society that supports it from generation to generation. Mantras are essentially used as a medium to ask God for prayers. Mantras are used as a link between humans and God in the hope that all requests will be granted quickly. This study focuses on structural analysis of the Tali Ari Ari Mantra by analyzing the building blocks, narrative context, and function of both the Tali Ari Ari Mantra. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The approach used is a qualitative research approach with a descriptive analysis research design. This data collection is done by way of interviews, recording, and recording. The results of this study are in the form of the structure of the Tali Ari Ari spells including the spell building elements for each spell. There are six building elements for the Tali Ari Ari spells resulting in the title element, opening, intention, suggestion element, goal element, element closing. The discussion of the research resulted in two narrative contexts, two functions of the Tali Ari Ari mantra. The context of the narrative on the Tali Ari Ari mantra is the process of the baby giving birth and then the function of the Tali Ari Ari mantra is to expedite when the process of giving birth to a baby goes smoothly without any obstacles

Abstract

This research describes the value of the main character's struggle in the novel Laut Tengah by Berliana Kimberly using qualitative methods and a literary sociology approach. Data collection techniques are reading and note-taking techniques. Based on the data found, it can be concluded that the struggle values of the main characters in the novel Laut Tengah by Berliana Kimberly are as follows (1) the value of being willing to sacrifice is 5 data, (2) the value of unity is 1 data, (3) the value of respect is 2 data, (4) the value of patience is 3 data, (5) the value of the spirit of never giving up is 4 data, (6) the value of cooperation is 2 data. So it can be concluded that the researcher found the value of the main character's struggle in the novel Laut Tengah by Berliana Kimberly with 17 pieces of data.

Abstract

The focus in this study is language on Facebook social media, especially those concerning grammar and spelling that can affect the understanding and interpretation of messages by readers. Facebook social media has become one of the most popular communication platforms among the public.  This research refers to Andika Suphryadi's Facebook account status posts and comments uploaded from 2021-2022. This type of research is a qualitative description research that aims to describe in detail in the form of data collected in language research, namely in the form of words instead of numbers. Language errors in this study in Facebook status uploads concluded that errors found in Facebook social media accounts were 12 data, including 6 phoneme omission errors, 3 phoneme usage errors, 2 capital letter errors. Hence, the importance of communicating correctly and appropriately in social media. As social media users, we should always strive to improve language skills and double-check uploads before they are posted to avoid unnecessary mistakes.

Abstract

Media digital digunakan dalam pendidikan agar dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan pelayanan pendidikan di era globalisasi ini. Proses pembelajaran tidak terlepas dari hubungan timbal balik antara guru dan siswa sehingga membutuhkan adanya media yang menarik dan efektif dalam penyampaian materi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menggali penggunaan media digital quizalize berbasis game pada pembelajaran dengan mempertimbangkan aktivitas belajar siswa yaitu belajar sambil bermain. Artikel ini berupa penelitian yang memakai metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh dengan pembagian angket. Hasil angket deskripsi minat belajar siswa kelas VII-1 SMPN 3 Kisaran pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan media digital quizalize berbasis game diperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 64% dengan kualifikasi rendah pada pertemuan pertama dan memperoleh hasil rata-rata 80% dengan kualifikasi tinggi pada pertemuan kedua. Berdasarkan hal tersebut diperoleh hasil bahwa media digital berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Persentase siswa di kelas VII-1 SMPN 3 Kisaran memperlihatkan bahwa proses belajar mengajar dengan menggunakan media digital menjadikan siswa lebih aktif dan antusias dalam belajar dibandingkan belajar tanpa adanya media digital

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) pendeskripsian deiksis persona dalam novel Sebening Syahadat karya Diva Sinar Rembulan, 2) pendeskripsian deiksis penunjuk dalam novel Sebening Syahadat karya Diva Sinar Rembulan, 3) pendeksripsian deiksis tempat dalam novel Sebening Syahadat karya Diva Sinar Rembulan, 4) pendeskripsian deiksis waktu dalam novel Sebening Syahadat karya Diva Sinar Rembulan, 5) pendeskripsian deiksis wacana dalam novel Sebening Syahadat karya Diva Sinar Rembulan, 6) pendeskripsian deiksis sosial dalam novel Sebening Syahadat karya Diva Sinar Rembulan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode  deskriptif.  Sumber  data  dalam  penelitian  ini  yaitu  novel  Sebening Syahadat karya Diva Sinar Rembulan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik studi dokumenter. Alat pengumpul data dalam penelitian ini yaitu peneliti sendiri sebagai instrumen kunci dan kartu pencatat data. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan deiksis persona terdapat 155 data, deiksis penunjuk terdapat 11 data, deiksis tempat terdapat 32 data, deiksis waktu terdapat 26 data, deiksis wacana terdapat 20 data, dan deiksis sosial terdapat 60 data.

Abstract

This study analyzed the acquisition of Indonesian in the first and second languages of children aged 5-6 years in Paud Gendis, Sari Rejo Village, Medan Polonia. The problem discussed in this study is that there is a student at PAUD Gendis who is aged from 5-6 years old who still uses the first language in interacting and communicating with his friends and teachers. This can refer to several factors that make children still use their first language so that children have difficulty in learning the acquisition of their second language. The object of study is the field of phonology. The data presentation technique carried out, the researcher used a descriptive pattern. Researchers used a diary of how children speak in interacting with their teachers or friends and used video tape as a substitute for notebooks. Next is to take each utterance and describe the context. This research was conducted using a method of listening to the use of language. The basic technique of this method is in the form of tapping technique and is followed by advanced techniques in the form of free listening and note-taking techniques. As a result of the analysis of the 16 children, there were 7 children who made a lot of laryngal or hamzah sounds in sentences ending in the vowels /a/, /i/, and /u/. not only that, there were 7 children who experienced phonological changes resulting in sound changes such as the phoneme /r/ to /l/, /d/ to /t/ and /n/ to /m/. in this case, 7 children who are already 5-6 years old are classified as unnatural, because the child's age can already obtain a second language or be perfect in the mention and sound of the language used by the child. This greatly makes the child later have difficulty in speaking opponents because it is still difficult to understand the meaning of the child's language.
