Abstract

This research study aims to examine and analyze the influence of work discipline and compensation on employee performance at PT Leble Boga Adiperkasa. The type of research used is quantitative, with the entire employee population totaling 78 individuals. Due to the relatively small population size, the saturated sampling technique (census) was employed, making the entire population the sample. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) via the SmartPLS software. A series of tests were conducted, including validity, reliability, and R-square analysis. The results of the structural model testing consistently prove that both work discipline and compensation are partially confirmed to have a positive and significant influence on the employee performance of PT Leble Boga Adiperkasa.

Abstract

New Student Admissions (PMB) is the abbreviation for New Student Admissions. It is the process undertaken by universities to recruit and select prospective new students who meet established criteria. The new student admission process at the LP3I Jakarta Polytechnic, Cikarang Campus, still faces several obstacles that could hamper the efficiency and effectiveness of overall academic activities. Some of these issues include the suboptimal registration system. Some processes, such as physical file collection, document verification, and test scheduling, are still carried out manually. This poses a risk of delays, data entry errors, and lack of accessibility for prospective students from outside the region. In today's digital age, such system limitations can be a barrier to attracting applicants seeking ease and speed in the administrative process. Based on research and analysis conducted on the new student admission process at the LP3I Jakarta Polytechnic, Cikarang Campus, it is systematic and structured, starting with the promotion and outreach stages, registration, administrative selection, interviews, and the announcement of selection results and re-registration. Each stage plays a crucial role in attracting prospective students who meet the institution's criteria. Standard operating procedures (SOPs) have been implemented effectively, although some shortcomings remain, such as delays in data entry or technical issues with the online registration system. This indicates that, while the process is well-organized, regular evaluation and service quality improvement are still needed.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the cosmetic industry in Indonesia has been accompanied by an increasing reliance of young consumers on social media to seek product recommendations. Indonesian beauty vloggers such as Tasya Farasya, Nanda Arsyinta, Jharna Bhagwani, Rachel Goddard, and Abel Cantika have become relevant subjects for this study. This research aims to analyze the influence of Homophily, Physical Attractiveness, and Credibility on Purchase Intention through Parasocial Interaction among beauty vloggers in Indonesia. This study employed a quantitative approach, with data collected through Google Forms distributed to female consumers who actively follow beauty vloggers. A total of 237 respondents participated in this research. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that homophily and credibility positively influence parasocial interaction. Furthermore, parasocial interaction, homophily, physical attractiveness, and credibility positively influence purchase intention. Parasocial interaction was also found to mediate the relationship between homophily and credibility on purchase intention. However, physical attractiveness does not influence parasocial interaction, and parasocial interaction does not mediate the relationship between physical attractiveness and purchase intention. Therefore, hypotheses H1, H3, H4, H5, H7, and H10 are supported, while hypotheses H2, H6, and H9 are rejected.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Organizational Culture (OC), Psychological Capital (PSC), and Perceived Organizational Support (POS) on Job Satisfaction (JS) and its impact on Employee Performance (EP), including the mediating role of JS. The study was conducted on manufacturing sector employees who had worked for at least 6 months and were permanent employees in the Greater Jakarta area, with a total of 175 respondents. Data analysis used the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) approach. The results showed that OC had a positive and significant effect on JS, as did POS. Conversely, PSC had no significant effect on JS. In addition, JS had no significant effect on EP. Mediation testing showed that JS was unable to mediate the influence of OC, PSC, or POS on EP. These findings indicate that in the manufacturing context, job satisfaction is more influenced by organizational factor but does not directly encourage improved performance. Therefore, the managerial implications of this study are that employee performance tends to be more determined by operational factors such as production targets, SOP compliance, supervision, shift systems, and technical competence, while job satisfaction is better improved through a corporate culture that provides support and a reward system for employees who successfully complete their work challenges.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of Transformational Leadership, Digital Transformation, and Work Environment on Employee Performance, with Job Satisfaction serving as a mediating variable, among employees of conventional commercial banks in Jakarta. The research is grounded in the increasing demand for organizational performance improvement amid rapid digital transformation in the banking industry. A quantitative research design was applied using a survey method involving 135 respondents, and the data were analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings reveal that Digital Transformation has a positive and significant impact on Job Satisfaction, whereas Transformational Leadership and Work Environment do not significantly influence Job Satisfaction. Furthermore, Transformational Leadership and Job Satisfaction demonstrate positive and significant effects on Employee Performance. However, Work Environment does not significantly affect Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction, indicating the absence of a mediating effect. These results highlight the strategic importance of strengthening transformational leadership practices and accelerating digital transformation initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and performance in conventional banking institutions.

Abstract

The development of financial technology has transformed the way people conduct financial transactions from conventional methods to digital payment systems. One of the widely used digital wallet services in Indonesia is OVO. Although the number of users continues to increase, the actual intention to use the application is influenced by several psychological factors of users. This study aims to analyze the effect of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness on intention to use OVO with attitude as a mediating variable. This research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The sample consisted of 105 respondents who were OVO users in Denpasar selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that perceived ease of use significantly influences perceived usefulness. Perceived usefulness significantly affects attitude and intention to use OVO, while attitude also has a significant effect on intention to use OVO. However, perceived ease of use does not significantly affect attitude. The mediation analysis shows that attitude mediates the relationship between perceived usefulness and intention to use OVO but does not mediate the relationship between perceived ease of use and intention. These findings suggest that the perceived benefits of digital payment applications play a key role in encouraging users’ intention to use digital wallets.

Abstract

Competition among companies in recruiting employees has intensified in the digital era, encouraging organizations to implement employer branding strategies to attract younger generations who are increasingly selective in choosing workplaces. This study aims to examine the influence of employer branding, corporate social responsibility (CSR), healthy work atmosphere, compensation and benefits, work-life balance, and training and development on intention to apply, with corporate reputation, social media usage, and online reviews as mediating variables. The population consists of final-year undergraduate students in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek), selected using purposive sampling, with 233 respondents participating in a quantitative survey. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that employer branding, CSR, healthy work atmosphere, and training and development positively affect intention to apply, while compensation and benefits and work-life balance have no significant effect. Corporate reputation and social media usage mediate the relationship between employer branding and intention to apply, whereas online reviews do not. These findings provide managerial implications for designing effective employer branding strategies to attract final-year students and fresh graduates.
