Abstract

This study aims to examine: (1) Knowing the extent to which the existence of online transportation (Go-food) in increasing sales of restaurants in Banjarmasin. (2) Knowing the economic and social impacts of restaurant business people in Banjarmasin after cooperating with Go-food.  This study used a descriptive qualitative research design with observation, interviews and documentation. The sample in this study was a restaurant in Banjarmasin that had collaborated with Go-food with a focus on five restaurants in Banjarmasin.  The results showed (1) that the existence of online transportation (Gofood) in increasing sales of restaurants in Banjarmasin, this identified the existence of online transportation (Go-food) to five restaurants experienced a significant increase in sales, which affected the increase in income. (2) after cooperating with Go-food, restaurant businesses in Banjarmasin have a positive impact on social and economic influences such as the addition of employees and an increase in annual income

Abstract

 This research aims to; (1) Empirically examine the effect of human resource competence to employee performance on the shipping coal carrier company (2) empirically examine the influence of organizational culture on employee performance on the shipping coal carrier company (3) empirically examine the influence of leadership style on the performance of employee at the shipping coal carrier company  (4) empirically examine the effect of simultaneously human resource competence, organizational culture and leadership style on employee performance on the shipping coal carrier company.             This research using quantitative methods approach to examine the sample, using the formula Slovin then obtained 157 samples from the total population of 258, and a questionnaire as a tool for collecting data given to a random sample of respondents and instruments research was made using a Likert scale of 1-5. All the collected data were processed using SPSS version 21.             Based on the analysis using SPSS v21 then the conclusion can be drawn  in four hypotheses, namely the human resource competence, organizational culture and leadership style simultaneously giving significant effect on employee performance, human resource  competency partially giving significant effect on employee performance, organizational culture has no significant effect on the performance of employees performance, leadership style partially significant effect on employee performance.              Keywords: Human resource Competence, Organizational Culture and Leadership Style, Employee Performance

Abstract

To improve employee performance, it is necessary to have a good and right human resource planning, so that human resources in an institution really have the capacity and competence in accordance with what is needed by the organization. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was a significant effect of human resource planning and competency on the performance of employees in Darul Hijrah Female Banjarbaru foundation. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was a significant effect of human resource planning and competency on the performance of employees in Darul Hijrah Female Banjarbaru foundation. The type of research used is Explanatory Research, using quantitative methods. The samples used were 63 employees at Darul Hijrah Female Banjarbaru Foundation, the data collected using questionnaires, the analysis technique used was multiple linear regression, with the help of the SPSS For Window 24 program.Partially HR Planning does not affect the performance of employees because the t-value of -0.842, because t count> t table (1.96) is -0.842 <1.96, then H0 is accepted H1 is rejected. Which means that Human Resource Planning does not affect the performance of employees at Darul Hijrah Female Banjarbaru Foundation. And with a significance value of 0.403> 0.05.Whereas Competence has a significant effect on the performance of Darul Hijrah Puteri Banjarbaru foundation employees with t count of 3.694, because t count> t table (1.96) which is 3.694> 1.96, then H1 is accepted H0 is rejected, which means that competence has a significant effect on performance Employee of Darul Hijrah Female Banjarbaru Foundation. Simultaneously (F) shows F count of 7.119 with significance of 0.002 thus Fcount> F table, which is 7.119> 5.608, then H0 in H1 is accepted, meaning HR planning (X1) and Competence (X2) has simultaneous influence on employee performance.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze and obtain the empirical evidence of the effect of profitability, debt policy and dividend policy on firm value in Real Estate and Property companies listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange. This research is an explanatory research used the data of Real estate and Property Companies for the period of 2015 until 2017. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method. This sample taken in this study was 17 real estate and property companies. The total data analyzed in this study was 51 data. The data was analyzed using the multiple linier regression . The result of this research indicates that statistically profitability and dividend policy have significant effect on firm value , but debt policy have no significant effect of firm value of Real estate and Property companies listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the communication that exists in Asam Asam Coal Steam Power Plant Engineering Department, identifying problems in organizational communication, then prepare recommendations to improve the condition of organizational communication based on existing communication theory. The method in this research is descriptive with qualitative approach. Data are collected through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews of engineering department leaders, predictive maintenance staff, system management staff, and information technology staff. The results showed that organizational communication which is not running well implicates the performance of staff in achieving the vision and mission of the organization. The openness in vertical communication is one of the main factors affecting the effectiveness and climate of communication in achieving the vision and mission of the organization. Furthermore, to support the coordination function of Engineering Department, the structural position as supervisor is considered necessary as a command chain from Assistant Manager to subordinates in each division.

Abstract

Teacher competency in mastering competency standards and basic subjects taught, reflected in the personality of the teacher. This study aims to describe the teacher's competency, teacher professionalism, description of the quality of students and the influence of teacher competency on the quality of students, teacher professionalism on the quality of students and the influence of teacher competency and professionalism on the quality of students in upper tier schools in Sungai Tabuk Subdistrict Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province. This type of research is quantitative research that is processed by statistical methods. The sampling technique in this study uses census method techniques or saturated sampling or often called total sampling of 92 students.            The results showed that the average score for the teacher competency variable (X1) was 4.46, indicating that the teacher's competence was quite good. Professionalism Teachers with an average score of question items range from 4.30 to 4.51 which indicates that teacher professionalism is good. In the overall analysis of variable items (Y), namely the quality of students with an average score of question items ranging from 3.86 to 4.43, this indicates that the quality of students is good enough. The results of regression analysis Partial t test between teacher competency (X1) on the quality of students (Y) yields the value of the regression coefficient (B) 0.333 and the probability value (p) 0.00 <0.05 thus partially it can be said that there are pengauuh significant between teacher competency towards the quality of students, while the value of R Square (r²) = 0.455 which means that the variation (change) in the quality of students' learning can be influenced by teacher professionalism 0.577% said there is a significant influence between teacher professionalism on the quality of students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Price, Promotion and Quality ofservices  provided  by  Café  Kupi  Datu  on  customer  satisfaction  both  partially  andsimultaneously. This research is quantitative research. The research design uses formal research   procedures   that   contain   clear   definitions   of   research   objectives   and information needs. To answer and achieve the research objectives, regression analysis will be used. Regression analysis is a statistical method that aims to see the direction of the relationship and the magnitude of influence between 2 or more variables in a linear form. Therefore, the research model in this study is Y = α + βX + e. The results showed that, it turns out that the independent variable that has the largest beta is the Price variable (X1) that is equal to 0.659 or by 65.9%. Therefore it can be said that the variable that has the greatest effect on customer satisfaction Café Kupi Datu is the variable X1 (Price) with a standard regression coefficient of 0.659. The results of the first hypothesis (H1)  are  the  decision  to  reject  H0  and  accept  Ha,  which  means  the  F  test  of  the regression equation obtained from this study shows the results that, together with the three variables price, promotion and quality of service affect the consumer satisfactionat Café Kupi Datu .

Abstract

Background of this study was from several complaints and cases that occur in the hospital there are cases of doctors who make mistakes in diagnosing the disease causing lawsuits. This begins because of obstacles in communication Doctor Patient. Some patients complain about the doctor's services not because of the ability or expertise of the doctor, but because they feel less attention. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of doctor-patient interpersonal communication and quality of service to patient satisfaction level in polyclinic of RSUD Dr. H. Moch. Ansari Saleh. This research method is a quantitative descriptive research that includes nonexperimental research because it does not provide treatment to the subject of research. The design of this study using cross-sectional is a study that studies the relationship between risk factors (independent) with the factor effect (dependent), where the observation or measurement of variables once and simultaneously at the same time. The results showed that the coefficient effect of doctor-patient interpersonal communication (X1) to patient satisfaction (Y) was 0.261. While for the coefficient of influence of service quality (X2) on patient satisfaction (Y) is equal to 0,665. From both variables, it is known that service quality variables have the most dominant influence on patient satisfaction in Polyclinic RSUD Dr. Moch. Anshari Saleh Banjarmasin. From the research results can be seen that the coefficient of determination R2 (R Square) is equal to 0.658 (65.80%). These results indicate that the value influence of doctor-patient interpersonal communication and the quality of service to patient satisfaction in Polyclinic RSUD Dr. Moch. Anshari Saleh Banjarmasin is 65.80%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze Effect of Work Environment and Work Discipline on Employee Performance (Study on Islamic Hospital Banjarmasin), this type of research is quantitative research. Sample taken counted 77 respondents by using Slovin formula. Data collection is taken by usung some technique that is observation, interview, and quetioner by using Likert scale., Statistical analysis using IBM Statistic application version 20.Based on the result of calculations and testing result obtained work environmentvariables   partially   affect  the  employe  performance   with  tcount3.747>ttable1.667, variable work discipline partially affect the employe performance with tcount4.011>ttable1.667, variable work environment and work discipline partially affect the employe performance with Fcount35.406 > Ftable3.155. The result of subsequent testing based on the coefficient of determination obtained partial work environment effect on employee performance with the regression is 0.378 or 37.8%, the effect of work discipline partially on employee performance with the value of regression is equal to0.392 or 39.2 %, and the last test result effect of work environment and work discipline on employee performance with the regression is 0.489 or 48.9%.The result of this study can be a reference for various parties to improve employee perpormance. It is necessary to continuously  develop employees through work environment. In addition, there should also be attention to work discipline in the organization of the employees.

Abstract

Financial behavior is a reflection of human behavior in managing their finances, many things that can affect, including financial quotient and lifestyles. The aim of the study is to understand the impact of financial quotient and lifestyles on financial behavior of female lecturers at STIE Pancasetia Banjarmasin. Data was collected through indepth- interview  with  three  resource  persons  who  teach finance  or  e-commerce. Understanding financial does not necessarily make a person implement it comprehensively in life, especially for female workers who are relatively young, there is a tendency not to pay attention to risks and protection for their future. Today’s lifestyle is closely related to the nurture, and this can be seen from their habits in using money. Individuals with better financial quotient will better understand how to plan the utilization of their income so they will choose a lifestyle that suits them, so they will behave in accordance with these choices.
