Abstract

This study aimed to analysis the influence of financial literacy, financial socialization, and financial attitude on financial well-being in Batam City. Nowadays, the fascination with financial well-being is increasing and many researchers have studied financial well-being in their country. This research methodology was quantitative descriptive approaches. The survey data in this paper is primary data and the number of respondents is 156, collected by questionnaire using Google Form. Data was analyzed by using Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) analysis model using IBM® SPSS® Statistics software. The result of this study shows that financial literacy and financial socialization has a significant positive effect on financial well-being, meanwhile the variable of financial attitude has an insignificant positive effect on financial well-being, which is contrary to the hypothesis of this study. The limitations of this study are that the number of the respondents used is still being determined because there is no exact data on the number of workers in Batam City and the survey conducted in this study was only through Google Forms. For future researchers who will use the same research topics, it is hoped that they will be able to reach a broader range of research and not only focus at one place and be able to add more independent variables in influencing the financial well-being.

Abstract

The study aims to investigate the impact of several variables such as gambler's fallacy, herding, risk perception, perceived knowledge of COVID-19, attitude, overconfidence, and financial literacy as moderators on investment decisions on cryptocurrency investors in Indonesia. The research use quantitative method with hypothesis analysis based on primary data gathered from 400 respondents via Google Forms. The collected data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate that variables such as gambler's fallacy, risk perception, perceived knowledge of COVID-19, attitude, and overconfidence significantly influence investment decisions among Indonesian investors. Meanwhile, herding behavior shows a positive but insignificant impact on investment decisions. Furthermore, financial literacy does not significantly moderate variable between overconfidence and investors in their investment decision-making process. The study concludes that investor psychology plays a crucial role in investment decisions, which cannot be fully controlled merely through enhancing financial literacy. For future research, expanding the respondent base through both online platforms like Google Forms and offline methods will be crucial to ensure a more comprehensive and representative sample. This approach will help in capturing a wider spectrum of investor perspectives and behaviors within the Indonesian cryptocurrency market. Moreover, researchers are encouraged to enhance the depth of analysis by incorporating additional variables beyond those studied here.

The population in this study was 110 employees of PT. Tunas Dwipa Matra, Raden Intan Branch, Bandar Lampung. The sample used in this research uses a non-probability sampling technique. The selected method is saturated sampling, which is a sampling method when all members of the population are used as samples. The results of this research indicate that the Reward variable partially has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at PT. Tunas Dwipa Matra Raden Intan Bandar Lampung Branch, so the first hypothesis is accepted. The Punishment variable partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Tunas Dwipa Matra Raden Intan Bandar Lampung Branch, so the second hypothesis is accepted. The results of this research also show that the Reward and Punishment variables together have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Tunas Dwipa Matra Raden Intan Bandar Lampung Branch, this means that the third hypothesis is accepted. Meanwhile, based on the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.529 or 52.9%. This shows that 52.9% of the influence can be explained by the independent variables (Reward and Punishment) on the dependent variable (Employee Performance), while the remaining 47.1% is explained by other variables not tested in this research.

Abstract

Human Resource Management (HRM) is a discipline that focuses on managing employees within an organization to achieve the company’s strategic goals. With the advent of the digital era and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, digitalization has become a significant force that has transformed various sectors, including HRM. Understanding the impact of digital transformation on HRM is important for enhancing organizational performance. This article reviews relevant literature related to the main problem addressed. The findings reveal how digital transformation in HRM enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes by streamlining employee recruitment, selection, orientation, training, and development. Technology also increases employee engagement through self-service portals and communication platforms that facilitate better collaboration and interaction, thereby boosting employee productivity. Digital engagement platforms enhance internal communication, employee satisfaction, and retention by improving interaction and feedback mechanisms. However, digitalization introduces challenges, including concerns over data security and privacy, as well as the need for HR professionals to continually adapt to new technologies. Therefore, companies must understand the potential for both success and failure in digital strategies, especially in Human Resource Management practices. This understanding is crucial for ensuring increased efficiency and competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

This study shows that the people of Karimun Regency tend to choose neighboring countries or Batam City to obtain better healthcare services. This is due to several factors, such as a decline in the number of patient visits to RSUD Muhammad Sani from January to March 2024. This quantitative research aims to examine the influence of these factors on patient loyalty. The results indicate that service quality has a significant direct effect on patient loyalty, although it does not significantly impact patient satisfaction. Conversely, infrastructure and competence do not have a significant effect on patient loyalty but do show a significant influence on patient satisfaction. Employee competence does not have a significant direct impact on patient loyalty but significantly affects patient satisfaction. Furthermore, the findings reveal that patient satisfaction cannot mediate the influence of service quality, infrastructure, and competence on patient loyalty. Therefore, to improve patient loyalty, RSUD Muhammad Sani needs to directly enhance service quality, while improvements in infrastructure and employee competence have a greater impact on increasing patient satisfaction, which is ultimately expected to contribute to overall patient loyalty. Future research could be expanded by broadening the scope of the study, increasing the sample size, and including variables that could determine loyalty and satisfaction at RSUD Muhammad Sani in Karimun Regency, thereby establishing a state-of-the-art foundation for subsequent research.
