Abstract

Abstract: In today's digital era, technology has made it easier for people to share and access various types of information, including the dissemination of Islamic teachings or dakwah. YouTube has become one of the platforms that provide opportunities for preachers to convey Islamic teachings in a more creative and engaging way for audiences. One prominent figure in digital dakwah is Bunda Aniqq Alfaqiroh, who, through YouTube streaming on PPA Institute, delivers content with themes of spiritual motivation. This study aims to analyze dakwah messages in the YouTube streaming titled "THERAPY OF FORGIVENESS" using a descriptive qualitative approach and Ferdinand de Saussure’s semiotic analysis method. The analysis is conducted by identifying the signifier, which includes the visual and audio elements used to convey the message, and the signified, which refers to the underlying meanings. The findings of the study reveal that dakwah messages in the YouTube streaming "THERAPY OF FORGIVENESS" are conveyed through various verbal and non-verbal symbols, such as music, facial expressions, voice intonation, and video visualization, which function as signifiers. Meanwhile, the interpreted meanings (signified) emphasize Islamic values regarding the importance of forgiveness, inner peace, and spiritual motivation to live life with sincerity. With the continuous growth of digital media, this study is expected to serve as a reference for preachers and content creators in optimizing digital platforms as a broader and more effective means of dakwah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem pengelompokan siswa dan pembinaan kedisiplinan di MA Taruna Teknik Al-Jabbar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap rekrutmen, MA Taruna Teknik Al-Jabbar menerapkan beberapa cara untuk menarik calon siswa, seperti sosialisasi melalui seminar, kunjungan ke sekolah, dan penyebaran informasi melalui media sosial. Proses seleksi dilakukan melalui seleksi administrasi, tes akademik, tes fisik dan mental, serta wawancara dengan orang tua dan calon siswa. Sistem pengelompokan siswa di MA Taruna Teknik Al-Jabbar didasarkan pada prestasi akademik, kemampuan teknis, karakter siswa, dan sikap disiplin. Namun, sistem ini menghadapi beberapa tantangan, seperti perbedaan latar belakang pendidikan siswa, dinamika kelompok yang sulit diprediksi, dan kesulitan dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara standar disiplin dan kebutuhan individu. Pembinaan kedisiplinan di MA Taruna Teknik Al-Jabbar dilakukan melalui berbagai program, yaitu program semi-militer, pembinaan karakter, program keagamaan, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, Character Building Camp, dan Leadership Training Camp. Semua program ini bertujuan untuk membentuk kedisiplinan yang melibatkan aspek fisik, mental, dan pengembangan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan tentang penerapan sistem pengelompokan siswa dan pembinaan kedisiplinan yang dapat diterapkan di lembaga pendidikan Islam lainnya.

Abstract

The study investigates the role of instructional leadership in enhancing teacher professionalism at SMP Negeri 5 Tanjungbalai. In light of the increasing emphasis on educational quality across Asia, this research aims to explore how effective leadership practices can foster collaboration among teachers, improve student learning outcomes, and support professional development. Utilizing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews with the principal and eight teachers, alongside observations of school practices. The results indicate that the principal actively engages in various initiatives, such as establishing a learning community, conducting regular performance supervision, and providing financial support for professional development programs. These strategies have led to significant improvements in teacher competence and motivation, thereby creating a conducive learning environment. Despite facing challenges like time constraints and resource limitations, the principal's commitment to instructional leadership has proven essential in promoting a culture of continuous professional growth among teachers. Ultimately, this study highlights the importance of collaborative leadership in achieving educational excellence and offers insights for future research on instructional leadership practices in Indonesia.

Abstract

Career planning is an important aspect in students' lives, especially in secondary education. One approach that can be used to help students plan their careers is Trait and Factor counseling. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Trait and Factor counseling approach in helping MAN 1 Surakarta students plan their careers. The method used in this study is qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation which were then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the Trait and Factor approach was able to increase students' awareness of their interests, talents, and existing job opportunities.

Abstract

Penelitian dilaksanakan guna menganalisis peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan agama islam, menerapkan metode penelitian kualitatif, peneliti menghimpun data melalui observasi dan sekaligus melakukan wawancara bersama kepala sekolah secara langsung di SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Surakarta. Kepala sekolah melakukan peningkatan supervisi akademik pembelajaran PAI, melakukan peningkatan profesionalisme guru PAI, mengadakan berbagai pembiasaan keagamaan serta berkolaborasi bersama orang tua peserta didik untuk dapat mempengaruhi peningkatan mutu PAI di sekolah. Berbagai upaya dilakukan untuk mencapai tujuan yang sudah ditentukan. Jika kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor dapat menjalankan perannya tersebut dengan baik, mutu pendidikan PAI di SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Surakarta berpotensi mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

This study seeks to find and implement fresh approaches that would help to solve local language learning issues in the age of globalization. The dominance of global languages like English and Arabic has the potential to influence the existence of local languages, hence creative ideas such the integration of digital technologies, project-based learning and multicultural methods are requiredThe study examines the impact of globalisation on young people's interest in local languages and the importance of an appropriate educational environment. The final plans aim to increase educational motivation, preserve cultural identity and ensure the viability of local languages in the context of globalisation. This study employs Miles and Huberman interactive model analysis using a descriptive qualitative methodology involving data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing/verification. Interviews, observations, documentary research, and subsequently data reduction helped to keep the analysis's focus via means of data. Due to variances in the linguistic systems between the santri's native tongue and Arabic, local language interference in Arabic language learning becomes a major obstacle, particularly in phonological and morphological elements. Strong techniques to overcome this include extensive phonetic practice, contextual morphological approaches and the incorporation of technology such learning software and interactive media (Mayer, Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning). By lowering language barriers and raising motivation, multicultural approaches help to establish an inclusive learning environment (Banks, Multicultural Education). Furthermore, the language immersion approach works well for raising Arabic language competency (Krashen, Second Language Acquisition; Vygotsky, Sociocultural Theory), hence the mix of these techniques is projected to maximise learning and greatly lower integration.

Abstract

This study aims to explore teachers' experiences in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at SMA Ignatius Manado, as well as to identify the challenges, strategies, and support needed for its successful implementation. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observations. Thematic analysis was employed to identify patterns and key themes in the teachers' experiences. The findings indicate that the main challenge faced by teachers is their readiness to adapt to more flexible, student-centered teaching methods, as well as limitations in resources and supporting facilities. To overcome these challenges, teachers at SMA Ignatius Manado have developed collaborative strategies, participated in training, and engaged students more actively in the learning process. The support needed to improve the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum includes continuous training, provision of adequate facilities, and social support from various stakeholders. This research provides valuable insights into the dynamics of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum and offers recommendations to support its success in senior high schools.

Abstract

Sektor pendidikan SD di Kabupaten Bengkalis mengalami perkembangan positif, ditandai oleh pertumbuhan penduduk usia sekolah, peningkatan jumlah pengajar, dan dukungan pemerintah. Fokus penelitian di Kecamatan Rupat Utara, menyoroti kekurangan motivasi guru seperti keuletan rendah, kurangnya kesungguhan mengajar, dan presensi guru yang belum optimal. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan budaya organisasi diidentifikasi sebagai faktor penting yang memengaruhi motivasi kerja guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak kedua faktor tersebut terhadap motivasi kerja guru di SD Negeri Kecamatan Rupat Utara, Kabupaten Bengkalis. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain ex post facto dengan tujuan eksplorasi dan deskriptif. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan, menguji variabel kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya organisasi, dan motivasi kerja guru di Kecamatan Rupat Utara dengan sampel sebanyak 97 orang guru. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan disebarkan melalui Google Form. Analisis data melibatkan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh secara signifikan dan positif terhadap motivasi kerja guru, dengan kontribusi sebesar 86,40%, sementara faktor lain di luar variabel tersebut memengaruhi sisanya

Abstract

This research aims to implement coping strategies to address anxiety in Arabic language at MA Al Amiriyah Banyuwangi. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study type, where data is collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research informants include the principal, the Curriculum Deputy, Arabic language teachers, and students. The research results show that coping strategies such as creating a supportive environment, using active learning methods, providing positive feedback, and using visual media are effective in reducing anxiety in learning Arabic. The conclusion of this research is that a holistic and collaborative approach, involving all stakeholders, is the key to creating an inclusive and effective learning environment to address Arabic language anxiety.

Abstract

This study examines how using QuillBot impacts students' Arabic translation skills using a quantitative quasi-experimental methodology and a pretest-posttest questionnaire. Sixty students from KH. Mukhtar Syafaat University Banyuwangi participated in the study. They were divided into two groups: one used QuillBot, and the other used traditional methods for translation. The experimental group performed significantly better on the post-test than the control group, according to the statistics. QuillBot considerably enhanced pupils' Arabic translation abilities, according to independent t-test research (t-value = 5.47, p < 0.05). The results of tests for homogeneity and normality provided further evidence of the validity and trustworthiness of the data gathered. This study adds to the larger conversation about AI-assisted learning, especially as it relates to the understudied field of Arabic translation. The findings emphasize the importance of integrating AI tools while maintaining foundational language skills to prevent overreliance on digital platforms. Additionally, this research provides practical recommendations for educators on how to optimize the use of AI-based translation tools in Arabic language learning.
