Abstract

This study aims to analyze and formulate a digital citizenship–based social education model in the context of strengthening the academic ethics of students in the Pancasila and Civic Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Mulawarman. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observations of the learning process, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The research informants consisted of ten students, six lecturers responsible for courses related to character education, social education, digital literacy, professional ethics, citizenship, and educational technology, as well as faculty and study program leaders. Data analysis was conducted systematically through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that digital citizenship is understood by informants as a value-based framework relevant to fostering ethical awareness, academic responsibility, and students’ digital citizenship attitudes in the use of technology and artificial intelligence. The formulated social education model emphasizes value-oriented learning objectives, contextual learning materials, reflective and participatory methods, ethical utilization of digital media, and evaluation oriented toward academic attitudes and behavior. These findings suggest that digital citizenship–based social education has a strategic role as a conceptual framework for strengthening students’ academic ethics in the era of artificial intelligence.

Abstract

The aims of the study are to analyse and describe the role of Hersey and Blanchard’s situational leadership model, namely directing, coaching, supporting, and delegating, in improving school achievement. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. The location of the study is at SD Muhammadiyah 01, Comal Subdistrict, Pemalang Regency. Data was obtained from primary and secondary sources involving the principal and three teachers. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis used Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis model, which consists of data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. Data validity was ensured through technique triangulation, source triangulation, and time triangulation. The findings indicate that the directing style did not play a role in improving school achievement, while the coaching, supporting, and delegating styles played a significant and strategic role in improving school achievement, and the principal was more dominant in applying the delegating style in improving school achievement at SD Muhammadiyah 01 Comal Subdistrict.

Abstract

his study examines the effects of Metta and Karuna values in Buddhist leadership on Prosocial Work Behavior, with Value Congruence as a mediating variable, within the Indonesian Buddhist Representative Organization (WALUBI). A quantitative survey approach was employed. The research population comprised leaders and active members of WALUBI, from which 150 respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique based on organizational involvement criteria. The study utilized primary data collected through a structured questionnaire distributed both directly and online. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The findings reveal that Metta Leadership positively influences Value Congruence but does not directly affect Prosocial Work Behavior. In contrast, Karuna Leadership has a positive and significant effect on both Value Congruence and Prosocial Work Behavior. Furthermore, Value Congruence significantly affects Prosocial Work Behavior, acting as a full mediator in the relationship between Metta Leadership and Prosocial Work Behavior, and as a partial mediator in the relationship between Karuna Leadership and Prosocial Work Behavior. These results indicate that Buddhist leadership values require processes of internalization and value alignment to be effectively translated into prosocial work behavior. The study contributes theoretically to the literature on spiritual and Buddhist leadership by highlighting the strategic role of Value Congruence as a key mechanism linking leadership values and prosocial behavior. Practically, the findings provide insights for non-profit religious organizations to strengthen the integration of leadership values into organizational practices in order to foster sustainable prosocial work behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the objectives of teaching the Arabic conversation course and examine the extent to which they align with the Reference Framework for Teaching Arabic to Speakers of Other Languages (Al-Imtāʿ) at Al-Raudhah Al-Hasanah College of Educational Sciences in Medan. This research is a library-based study employing a qualitative, descriptive approach. The primary data consist of the teaching plan for the Conversation course and the Reference Framework for Teaching Arabic to Speakers of Other Languages (Al-Imtāʿ), while the secondary data include relevant books, scholarly articles, and related training materials. Data were collected through documentation and interviews. The data analysis technique used was content analysis, conducted in three stages: data collection, classification, and alignment with the Reference Framework for Teaching Arabic to Speakers of Other Languages (Al-Imtāʿ). The findings indicate that the Conversation course at Al-Raudhah Al-Hasanah College of Educational Sciences in Medan primarily focuses on speaking skills through productive oral expression. Conversation I includes 19 objectives, Conversation II 16 objectives, and Conversation III 16 objectives, which emphasize students’ abilities in narration, expression, explanation, discussion, presentation, and presentation writing. Overall, these objectives align with only 6 of the 24 descriptors of the Reference Framework for Teaching Arabic to Speakers of Other Languages (Al-Imtāʿ). Several objectives align with the Preparatory, Proficiency, and Distinction levels; however, the course objectives were not fully aligned with the framework, as they include writing-related objectives and fail to address 18 of its descriptors.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the implementation of management strategies in the Broadcast and Filmmaking Skills Program at SMK Negeri 1 Kendal to improve graduate competency. The research emphasizes four core management functions: planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling, along with evaluation processes that enhance graduate readiness for employment, higher education, and entrepreneurship. A qualitative phenomenological approach was employed to explore the lived experiences and subjective perspectives of key stakeholders involved in managing the program. Participants included the principal, vice principals, head of the skills program, productive subject teachers, students, alumni, and industry partners (DUDIKA). Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. Analysis followed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing with ongoing verification. The findings reveal that management implementation in the Broadcast and Filmmaking Skills Program is adaptive and context-responsive, aiming to achieve productivity, stakeholder satisfaction, and sustainable graduate pathways. Participatory planning engages school stakeholders and industry partners to address limited employment opportunities and diverse student potential by strengthening entrepreneurial orientation and curriculum relevance. Organizing is carried out through clear team structures, systematic task distribution, and a semi-block scheduling system, while strong industry collaboration ensures alignment between competencies and labor market demands. Actuating is implemented through deep learning and project-based learning approaches that develop both technical and interpersonal skills. Controlling is conducted systematically through tiered supervision, digital monitoring systems, and innovative student manager roles, supporting continuous quality improvement and graduate competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the forms of religious authority of kiai in the determination and implementation of post-lunar eclipse almsgiving practices in Ketapang Village, Sampang, Madura, and to analyze how the discourse of power strengthens kiai legitimacy when analyzed through Hannah Arendt’s and hadith perspectives. This qualitative research employs an ethnographic approach. The data consist of information on religious authority construction, power discourse, and almsgiving practices, sourced from four kiai and fifteen community members in Ketapang Village. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews with kiai and community members, participant observation of religious gatherings and eclipse-related rituals, and documentation of classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning) and religious pronouncements. Data analysis employs thematic analysis with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, integrating Hannah Arendt’s political philosophy framework with hadith studies methodologies. The findings demonstrate that kiai religious authority is constructed through textual mastery, interpretive competence, and community recognition, while power discourse operates through theological legitimation, social networks, and performative practices. The interaction between religious authority and social power creates community compliance through mechanisms of trust, cultural tradition, and spiritual charisma. This research contributes theoretically to understanding the dynamics of religious authority in contemporary Islamic communities and pragmatically provides insights into the negotiation between classical texts and modern social realities.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the extent to which the application of the multisensory learning model in the subject of Hadith Al-Qur'an affects the development of students' motor skills at MIN 1 Majene. This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach to test the influence of the multisensory learning model on the motor development of Class I students of MIN 1 Majene. The research approach used was quasi-experimental the entire population of 26 students was sampled through the saturated sample technique and divided into experimental and control groups. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics and the Wilcoxon Test to see significant differences before and after treatment. The results of the study show that the multisensory learning model has a significant influence on improving students' gross motor development in learning the Qur'an Hadith at MIN 1 Majene. The experimental group that received the treatment showed an increase in score from 8.54 to 21.77, while the control group only increased from 8.08 to 9.31, there was an increase in scores in the experimental group due to the application of a multisensory learning model that actively integrates movement activities with Qur'anic Hadith material, so that the aspects of coordination, balance, flexibility, and motor strength of students are optimally trained, while the control group only follows regular learning without significant movement stimulation. This approach has been shown to be effective in stimulating students' coordination, balance, and motor responses through visual, auditory, and kinesthetic engagement. The Wilcoxon test confirmed the significance of the change with a p< value of 0.05, indicating that the treatment had a noticeable impact.
