KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah was first published in April 2013 in printed and online form published since 30 April 2018 by Department of Non Formal Education, Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Padang. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah equipped with ISSN (p): 2354-693X and ISSN (e): 2655-3163, published twice a year in April and October. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah education contains articles from research and/ or analytical-critical in the field non-formal education specifically edult education study, community education, training and development of human resources, counseling, and community development. The spesification purpose are intended to explore, develop and explain the knowladge of history, philosophy, principles, policies, designs, and technologies that are used and developed in non-formal education services. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah have a role and participates in efforts to support the preservation of scientific traditions derived from the theoretical study of researchers and the practical experience of education practitioners.

Abstract

Indonesia's education world is experiencing significant changes due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This change can be seen from the enactment of online teaching and learning activities. In the even semester of the 2021/2021 Academic Year, the COVID-19 pandemic subsided a little. This also impacts the policy of implementing learning activities, especially in the higher education environment. Responding to the Indonesian government's decision regarding the Implementation of Face-to-Face Learning for the 2021/2022 Academic Year, UIN Sunan Kalijaga also organizes lecture activities in which each lecturer can hold offline lectures together with online lectures (in the network). Learning with online and offline models at UIN SUKA is adapted to existing conditions in the field, especially for students with disabilities. This research uses structural functional theory (AGIL). The results of this study explain that students with disabilities can attend hybrid lectures even with all the limitations they have. It takes help and assistance from related parties to help run Hybrid Learning, especially for students with disabilities.

Abstract

Non-formal education is currently being intensively provided by various parties and one of them is training, this is because the digital era has created new demands for employees to have relevant and competitive skills, a mismatch between the demands of the ever-changing job market and the skills they possess. by many current employees. Therefore, efforts are needed to deal with this so that employees can survive and continue to progress. One effort that can be made is to improve one's work performance by honing skills, increasing knowledge or insight and how to behave correctly, and to answer these problems competency-based training is one solution that can be done. This article will discuss further about how to build competitive employees in the digital era with competency-based training. The research method that the author uses in this article is library research, namely by collecting various existing sources. In this article, several key points can be concluded, namely: the importance of employee development as a response to rapid changes in the digital era, competency-based training is identified as an effective approach to improving skills in accordance with job demands, competency-based training programs not only improve skills but also contribute to employee motivation and engagement, and employee development programs have the potential to have a positive impact on an organization's competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the many government assistance programs carried out to improve the welfare of poor people in the youth center of Padang Sarai sub-district, Koto Tangah sub-district, Padang city. Among the programs is the empowerment of poor communities through education and entrepreneurship training consisting of workshops, skills training and the formation of information technology-based business groups. This type of research uses qualitative research, using descriptive methods. The descriptive method aims to describe, summarize various conditions, various situations, or various phenomena of social reality that exist in society which is the object of research and attempts to draw that reality to the surface as a description of certain conditions, situations or phenomena. The results of this research are 1) there is an increase in the participants' ability to understand the concepts in the program, as seen from the participants' ability to utilize the program, 2) there is an increase in the participants' ability to use the program, as seen from the participants' ability to create interesting works around the material. given, 3) changes in the participants' thinking paradigm to become more logical and analytical, which can be seen from the increased enthusiasm for entrepreneurship (independence), 4) Increased knowledge of the workforce with life skills in the form of skills training in order to provide opportunities to get work.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the poor discipline of students at the TPQ/TQA Al-Muhajirin PasirPutih Tabing Mosque, Padang City. This is thought to be due to poor attention from educators,resulting in poor student discipline at the TPQ/TQA Al-Muhajirin Mosque. The purpose of thisresearch is to: 1) See a picture of educators' attention in disciplining students at the TPQ/TQA AlMuhajirin Pasir Putih Tabing Mosque, Padang City. 2) See the picture of student discipline at theTPQ/TQA Al-Muhajirin Pasir Putih Tabing Mosque, Padang City. 3) Seeing the relationship betweeneducators' attention and student discipline at the TPQ/TQA Al-Muhajirin Pasir Putih TabingMosque, Padang City. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational type of research.The population in this study was 60 people and the sample taken was 30 people or 50% with samplingusing a stratified random sampling technique. The questionnaire was used as a data collection tool,and data analysis used percentage and product moment formulas.The results of the research showthat: 1) The description of educators' attention at the TPQ/TQA Al-Muhajirin Pasir Putih TabingMosque, Padang City, is categorized as poor; 2) The description of student discipline at theTPQ/TQA Al-Muhajirin Pasir Putih Tabing Mosque, Padang City, is categorized as poor; 3) There isa significant relationship between educators' attention and student discipline at the TPQ/TQA AlMuhajirin Pasir Putih Tabing Mosque, Padang City. The research suggestions are: 1) It is hoped thateducators can increase attention to students so that they can foster a high sense of discipline instudents; 2) It is hoped that students can instill a disciplined attitude in learning so that students canachieve maximum learning results; 3) It is hoped that future researchers will be able to innovate inresearching new variables so that they can increase and complete the variables in research.Keywords: Educator Attention, Student Discipline

Abstract

The Polowijen cultural village, Malang City, is packaged educationally for visiting tourists, this is to introduce the culture of Malang City which is still preserved and managed by the residents of Polowijen Village. Sarong cloth is a cloth that is used every day and can be used as a potential for cultural development in Polowijen Village. The method used in this community service activity is the method. The implementation method is a way of carrying out activities by determining activity steps related to the problems faced by The community, in this case, are the tailors who are members of the KWP group, with a network of cooperation, participatory work action and monitoring. Based on the results of the service regarding branding sarongs as several clothing options, it can be concluded as follows: (1) Polowijen Village, Malang City, has now branded itself as a sarong sewing center with various types of clothing products. (2) The tailors in Polowijen are more creative and collaborate more with each other in making sarongs as creative as possible. (3) Collaboration was established between the tailors and the Polowijen sub-district cooperative and the Malang City Trade and Industry Department which was able to increase sarong sales figures. (4) There has been an increase in the economy as evidenced by the relatively cheap purchase price of sarong cloth which can achieve profits of up to 200% for every production of 1 sarong cloth.

Abstract

The background to this research is the low level of social and emotional development of children. This can be seen from the fact that there are still many children who fight back when reprimanded, are less sensitive to the environment, do not like sharing with other people, children often fight with their friends because they cannot control their emotions. This is suspected to be due to a lack of family communication. This research aims to: 1) See a picture of family communication. 2) See a picture of the social emotional development of children aged 4-5 years. 3) Seeing the relationship between family communication and the social emotional development of children aged 4-5 years in Batipuh.The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with a correlational type. The population in this study were parents who had children aged 4-5 years in Batipuh, Tanah Datar Regency with a total of 47 people and 75% of the samples were 35 people. The sampling used by researchers was cluster random sampling. The data collection technique used was in the form of questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use percentage and product moment formulas. The results of the research show that: 1) Description of family communication in Batipuh, Tanah Datar Regency. 2) The description of the social emotional development of children aged 4-5 years in Batipuh is categorized as less than supportive. 3) There is a relationship between family communication and the social emotional development of children aged 4-5 years in Batipuh. Keywords: Communication, Social emotional development

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pengawasan orang tua terhadap pembelajaran anak di RW 4 Kecamatan Ulak Karang Selatan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara orang tua melakukan pengawasan terhadap pembelajaran anak. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif karena permasalahan yang akan dibahas dalam penelitian ini berupa kata-kata, baik tertulis maupun lisan, tidak berkaitan dengan angka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) Pengawasan orang tua terhadap pembelajaran anak di RW 4 Kecamatan Ulak Karang Selatan yaitu orang tua bertanggung jawab mengawasi dan mengarahkan kegiatan belajar anak. (2) Pola Pengawasan Orang Tua Terhadap Pembelajaran Anak di RW 4 Kelurahan Ulak Karang Selatan yaitu upaya ayah dan ibu dalam mengawasi, memperhatikan, menilai seluruh kegiatan anak apakah sudah dilaksanakan dengan benar atau belum dan dengan pola pengawasan tersebut orang tua mengawasi anak dalam belajar. (3) Bentuk pengawasan orang tua terhadap pembelajaran anak di RW 4 Kelurahan Ulak Karang Selatan yaitu bentuk pengawasan apa yang dilakukan orang tua terhadap anak ketika anak sedang belajar, apakah orang tua membimbing dan membantu anak dalam belajar dan apakah orang tua memenuhi pembelajaran anak kebutuhan dan memberikan motivasi. pembelajaran anak-anak.Kata Kunci: Pengawasan, Orang Tua, Pembelajaran

Abstract

The research provides in-depth insights into the factors influencing the success of the learning process in the context of homeschooling in Denpasar. Here are some key points that can be drawn from the findings of this research:Parental Educational Capability:Parental educational capability has a positive and significant impact on the success of homeschooling.Factors such as a lack of commitment, time, technological proficiency, motivation, and responsiveness to the child's learning problems can affect parental educational capability. The availability of learning materials has a positive effect on the success of homeschooling. Aspects such as the suitability of materials to the child's interests and talents, material flexibility, ease of provision by parents, the child's interest in the material, learning facilities from various sources, and community support affect the availability of learning materials. The availability of a conducive learning environment also contributes positively to the success of the homeschooling process. Aspects such as positive family interactions, trust in the child's interests and talents, good relationships with the child's learning environment (tutors, homeschooling institutions, tutors, and community friends), and socializing with various communities support the creation of a good learning environment. Success  The success of homeschooling is influenced by learning objectives, curriculum and teaching strategies, the teaching and learning process, and learning achievements that include the ability to have a diploma, portfolio, certificates from tutoring, and behavioral changes. Recommendations: Parents of homeschooling children are advised to pay more attention to fundamental aspects before deciding on homeschooling. If facing difficulties, it is recommended to seek assistance from learning communities or apply for scholarships from social foundations to ensure the successful implementation of homeschooling for the child.This research can serve as a foundation for parents, educators, and relevant stakeholders to enhance the quality of homeschooling in Denpasar by considering the identified factors.Keywords: Educational ability, availability of materials, environment, success in learning at homeschooling

Abstract

Ideally, every parent wants a child who is physically and psychologically healthy. However, the reality on the ground shows that there are children who are born or grow up in abnormal conditions and require special attention. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a developmental disorder that is related to a person's neurology. Out of school education is a realm of education that intersects with several elements, one of which is parents. Thus, this research refers to the learning process of parents with children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (GPPH) in self-acceptance and learning. The research that will be carried out uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach and aims to describe the social problems faced, the learning process in acceptance, and learning resources for parents in the @temanadhd parent community. Based on the research that has been conducted, it can be seen that parents experience social problems related to their children's conditions. Parents overcome this problem by joining and learning in the @temanadhd community which acts as a forum for facilitating parents' learning. The learning processes and resources used by parents are information from various sources, training and seminars on parenting and self-acceptance.

Abstract

This research motivation is the low learning activity of residents studying package C at the PKBM Literacy Foundation. This was thought to be the source by the low effectiveness of tutor communication in learning package C at the PKBM Literacy Foundation. This research aims to: 1) Give description of the tutor communication effectiveness in learning package C at the PKBM Literasi Foundation, 2) Describe the learning activity of residents studying package C at the PKBM Literasi Foundation, 3) See the correlation from the tutor communication effectiveness and the learning activeness of residents studying package C at PKBM Literacy Foundation. This research used by approach in quantitative with a type of correlational. The research population was all residents studying package C at the PKBM Literacy Foundation, totaling 38 people. The technique for sampling used stratified random sampling, taking 79% of the population, namely 30 people. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire and collection of data tools in the shape of a list of statements. The techniques for data analysis use percentages and product moments. The research results shown that: 1) the the tutor communication effectiveness in learning package C at the PKBM Literacy Foundation is categorized as poor, 2) the learning activity of students studying package C at the PKBM Literacy Foundation is categorized as poor, 3) there is a significant correlation from the the tutor communication effectiveness and active learning of residents studying package C at the PKBM Literacy Foundation.Keywords: effectiveness of tutor communication, active learning
