This study aimed to determine the relationship between sitting duration, sitting position, and student status with complaints of low back pain in college students. A cross-sectional analytic survey study was carried out on 107 people using a questionnaire, sampling was taken by random sampling. Questionnaire results were tested by Chi-Square statistical test. It was found that there was a relationship between long sitting and complaints of low back pain in Ibnu Sina University students with a p-value of 0.05; r 2 = 0.04. There is a relationship between sitting position and complaints of low back pain in Ibnu Sina University students, p-value 0.05; r 2 = 0.02. There is a relationship between student status and complaints of low back pain in students at Ibnu Cyan University, p-value 0.05; r 2 = 0.03. This study concludes that there is a relationship between sitting time, sitting position, and student status with complaints of low back pain among students at Ibnu Sina University, Batam City in 2023

The population in this study was the entire population diagnosed with ca mammae at Andi Makkasau Hospital, Parepare City. the sample in this study was 48 respondents with 24 cases and 24 controls, with the sampling technique using total sampling. Data is processed using SPSS. The results of the chi square test for age have a value of p = 0.020 <α 0.05 and OR = 4.048, obesity has a value of p = 1.000 > α 0.05 with a value of OR = 1.000, history of breastfeeding has a value of p = 0.771 with a value of OR = 0.771, family history has a value of p = 0.004 < α 0.05 with a value of OR = 13.800, use of hormonal birth control has a value of p = 0.020 < α 0.05 with a value of OR = 4.048, menstrual history has a value of p = 0.009 < α 0.05 with a value of OR=5,000. It can be concluded that the factors of age, family history, history of using hormonal birth control and menstrual history have a significant effect on the incidence of ca mammae, while obesity and history of breastfeeding have no effect but have a risk of ca mammae events at Andi Makkasau Hospital, Parepare City. Abstract

Hemodialysis (HD) in its implementation is reported to cause complications. Complications may cause the patients to receive >3 types of drugs and decrease their medication adherence. This study aimed to analyze the association between the number of complications and the number of drugs, and the association between the number of drugs with medication adherence in End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) patients. This research was conducted at the private hospital Denpasar in March-May 2021 with a cross-sectional design involving 93 respondents. The purposive sampling technique was used according to inclusion criteria (ESRD patients with complications, undergoing HD at least twice a week, signing informed consent) and exclusion criteria (having poor or unstable health, unable to communicate well). The research instrument used was a questionnaire (ESRD-AQ). The Mann-Whitney test and Kendall tau-b test were used to analyze the association in this study. The results showed that the majority of patients were <65 years old (83.9%), male (66.7%), 35.5% high school education, still working (51.6%), and long of diagnosed with ESRD <5 years (77%). The average patient had ≥2 complications (81.72%) and 80.64% received 1-6 types of drugs with high levels of medication adherence (67.74%). There was an association between the number of complications and the number of drugs (p=0.026) and the association between the number of drugs and medication adherence (p=0.023) with a weak correlation (r=-0,227). This indicates that complications can affect the number of drugs consumed and indirectly also affect the medication adherence of ESRD patients.

Abstract

World developments influence to all sectors, including the development sector which is also increasingly rapid and with the application of increasingly sophisticated technology, the application of Occupational Health and Safety is one of the main requirements for work that must be taken into account. is one of the contractors engaged in the construction sector where its activities cannot be separated from working at heights, So it is necessary to carry out observations and observations in the field regarding "Analysis of the Implementation of the Permit to Work System for Height Work on the Project of PT. X year 2023”. The research method used in this research is qualitative-descriptive, because this type of research is the most appropriate for analyzing the implementation of the permit to work system using interviews, observations and also document review. From the results of research on the implementation of a permit to work system for work at height on the Project of PT. X, starting from the stages of preparation consisting of coordination, planning, assessment, isolation, prevention, validity period, signature, process stages consisting of permit, revalidation, suspension, action in emergency, monitoring and closing stages consisting of returning permit to Work, Site Inspection, Cancelation of Overrides, Return to service, Log/record it is known that the implementation of the three stages of the Permit to work System for work at height on the Project of PT. X has done quite well. Even though the implementation is good, there are several stages that still need to be improved because they are not in accordance with the standards of MoM Regulation No. 9 year 2016 concerning safety for work at heights. The recommended to improve such as coordinating the agenda for briefings, risk assessments being distributed in the work area, work area restrictions being improved, not only police lines, PPE checks being carried out before and after work, checking first aid equipment, work permit displays being carried out even outside of building, telling workers how to process work permits for extensions and returns, having checklists for monitoring during work and after work is completed, checking equipment when it is returned, and for the rest it is good enough and hopefully it can be maintained.

Abstract

Dengue is a viral disease transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes. There are four types of dengue virus (DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3. DENV-4), and infection with one type provides lifelong immunity against only that type. One of the factors that can influence the increase in morbidity and death rates due to dengue disease is poor community behavior related to poor environmental sanitation. This study aims to determine the relationship between mosquito breeding sites and waste management with the incidence of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in the Citimun Village Area. The type of research used is quantitative research that is descriptive analytic with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study is the population of Citimun Village which amounts to 5,274 households, with a sample number of 100 families determined by the slovin formula. The data analysis used was univariate and bivariate data analysis using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between mosquito breeding sites and dengue incidence with a p-value of 0.001, and there was a relationship between waste management and dengue incidence with a p-value of 0.006. It is hoped that village officials and epidemiological surveillance officers at puskesmas can provide counseling to the community so that the community can maintain good environmental cleanliness and to avoid disease.

Abstract

Jamu for rheumatism and "pegal linu" are two of the most commonly used traditional medicine products in the community, so it is a type of traditional medicine preparation that is prone to the addition of medicinal chemicals. Any type of medicinal chemical should not be added to herbal preparations. The purpose of this study was to determine is there any medicinal chemicals in traditional medicine samples for "pegal linu" and rheumatism in the Magelang area. The total number of samples used is nine. Thin layer chromatography was used to analyze medicinal chemicals in traditional medicine, and preliminary organoleptic test was performed. The next step is a quantitative analysis using the UV-Visible spectrophotometric method. Prednisone, mefenamic acid, and ibuprofen were used as standards. The stationary phase was silica gel 60 F254, and the mobile phase was ethyl acetate: chloroform (4:1) for the prednisone standard, chloroform:methanol (9:1) for the mefenamic acid standard, and chloroform:ethanol (8:1) for the ibuprofen standard. Thin layer chromatography analysis showed that three of the nine traditional medicine samples tested positive for prednisone, but none contained mefenamic acid or ibuprofen. Herbs A, D, and E contained prednisone in their samples. Prednisone concentrations in the three samples were 0,252%; 0.754%, and 2,005%, respectively.
