Abstract

Dodol is classified as a semi-wet snack with a chewy texture and does not last long to be stored because it is susceptible to microbial contamination. Handling dodol from the production process to packaging needs to consider food safety so that its quality can be maintained and food contamination can be avoided. Sanitation Standard Process Procedure (SSOP) is one of the main requirements for food processing, including dodol. Food sanitation is an essential part of the dodol quality control process. This community service (PkM) aims to provide assistance and training to improve the quality of dodol in the "D'Tungku" betawi dodol business Hj Muhaya Bojong Gede Bogor. A straightforward application of food sanitation can be seen in workers' clothes. Production clothing must cover all parts of the body, thereby reducing contamination originating from the individual's body, such as sweat. Headgear and masks complement production clothing to protect against product contamination, especially hair and respiratory droplets. In addition to the dodol production process, the packaging process is also an essential part of maintaining the quality of dodol. This PkM provides several alternative proposals for dodol packaging, including vacuum packaging, which aims to make dodol more widely accepted. This PkM is expected to bring benefits to Hj. Muhaya's "D'Tungku" dodol business.

Abstract

The problem faced is the difficulty of making the road body on soft soil in the former swamp location. The purpose of community service is to provide technical assistance to make roads on soft soil using simple appropriate technology by utilizing the availability of materials that are cheap and widely found in the market. The working method used is the galam wood chisel method which is installed with a distance of 60 cm and above the cerucuk is installed galam wood girder. The pair of girders and culms of galam wood will then distribute and even out the load on them so that the road body does not experience subsidence and deformation. The results of the improvements made in this community service activity show that the Galam wood cerucuk method is proven to be suitable and suitable to be used to overcome the problem of difficulty in building roads on soft soil. The results of the work that has been done also show that the access road built on soft soil is proven not to be damaged, not cracked, not deformed after being used to serve light vehicle traffic to truck vehicles with loads.

Abstract

The fast-spreading Corona virus requires the government to take policies quickly to break the chain of its spread. Various ways are done starting from diverting all activities that are usually done offline to online. This increase in the use of technology is due to activity restrictions and causes people to spend more time at home, one of which is buying food online through delivery applications, resulting in many people choosing food without paying attention to the nutritional content contained in the food. Nutritional problems in adults tend to lead to obesity. One of the factors that influence nutritional status is nutritional knowledge. One of the prevention efforts that can be done is through education to increase public knowledge. This education is carried out online with the theme "Education Wisely in Choosing Food in the Delivery Application During the New Normal" with pocket books and Instagram social media accounts. This activity begins with a pretest and ends with a posttest to assess the increase in knowledge. There was an increase in the value of the results of the pretest and posttest scores as well as pocket book media and Instagram social media accounts which affected the increase in respondents' knowledge. Respondents of this activity have normal nutritional status as many as 35 respondents out of 60 respondents.

Abstract

The health condition of Indonesian citizens is guaranteed by the Constitution of the State of Indonesia. The constitutional guarantee mandates that the state is obliged to provide public health services to its citizens. One way to ensure that people have good health conditions is through the provision of waste management services. There was a paradigm shift after the issuance of Law No. 18 of 2008 on Waste Management, where waste management is not only the duty and responsibility of the Local Government but also the obligation of the community. Community involvement in waste management is included as a form of retribution in supporting waste management policies. Community involvement to contribute to waste management policies in the form of retribution for waste services needs to be supported by the existence of local legal products as the legal basis for collecting the retribution. In order to participate in development in the Lumajang Regency area, especially in the stage of preparing legal products in the form of Regional Regulations Concerning Public Service Retribution on Waste Services in 2021, community service is held in the form of mentoring activities. Assistance is provided to prepare Academic Papers and Draft Regional Regulations. Mentoring activities are carried out using the focus group discussion method and assistance in the preparation of legal products. With the implementation of this mentoring activity at the end of 2021, an Academic Paper and a Draft Regional Regulations Concerning Public Service Retribution on Waste Services have been compiled.

Abstract

Currently, in planning for mineral and coal exploration drilling, there are still many questions about how to determine the optimal borehole distance for resource classification, because the determination of the number of drill holes will be highly correlated with the expenditure of exploration funds. The solution to answer these questions is to increase the knowledge and understanding of exploration planners regarding borehole distance analysis for resource classification, especially by using geostatistical methods. In this case, the technique used is global estimation variance. The implementation of community service in the form of workshops is carried out in various stages, including the planning stage, workshops and activity evaluation. The results of this activity can increase the understanding and knowledge of the participants about the concept of geostatistics and determining the optimal number of drill holes. The conclusion of the workshop that was carried out was that almost all participants were able to receive the material presented, it was seen from the very intensive discussion at the end of the event and at the end of the event the participants wanted further training by increasing practice.
