Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of strategic management in non-profit organizations, focusing on the independence of organizational financing, while the object of research at the fathul 'ulum kwagean islamic boarding school. Abstract

Philosophy of Essentialism is a philosophical school that wants humans to return to their old culture. The emergence of this understanding was a reaction to the absolute and dogmatic symbolism of the Middle Ages. Thus, a systematic and comprehensive concept of man and the universe was drawn up, which met the requirements of the times. This essentialism views that education that is based on the view of flexibility in all its forms can be a source of the emergence of views that are changing, easily swayed, less focused and less stable. Therefore, education must be based on values ​​that can be stable and have been tested by time, durable and have values, so that education in a country can remain stable and directed. The purpose of the philosophy of essentialism education is to improve the character of the community through the existing cultural heritage, so that later students can contribute to improving people's lives in the face of changing times that can kill character values. This paper aims to examine the philosophy of essentialism in the perspective of Islamic education, using the library research method. The results of the study stated that the flow of essentialism has a view in the field of education, namely: educational goals, educational curriculum, educators, and students. Along with the times, there are several views that need to be taken seriously, namely: the ontological view, the epistemological view, and the axiological view.

Abstract

Education is the main factor to form children who have faith and devotion to Allah and the problems that are being faced in the world of education are weak education, Learning in Madrasah Ibtidai'ah Miftahul Ulum 03 Has obstacles in learning including understanding prayer, in reading some children are still not memorized. Therefore, in order for students to better understand prayer, there needs to be a variety of methods. For example, in learning fiqh bab shalat using the simulation method, this simulation method can help secure prayers because in this simulation method the child is more into practice regarding the behavior carried out as if in the actual situation, so that the child can more easily understand the prayer.

Abstract

Current higher order thinking skills need to be instilled in students, especially elementary school students. In the application of critical thinking, there are still many obstacles and problems that make many students less in applying critical thinking in learning. This study aims to determine the teacher's efforts in improving critical thinking skills in elementary students, especially in social studies learning. This qualitative research produces descriptive data by carrying out observations and interviews at one of the elementary schools in the city of Bandung. This study shows that the efforts made by teachers in improving students' critical thinking in social studies learning are giving students a problem and they must solve the problem, besides the use of strategies, methods, models, and learning media also has an effect on increasing students' critical thinking, especially in learning social science.

Abstract

The success of the influence of the school environment in the process of various social actions of several students. The purpose of this research is to use an appropriate description of the basic functions of the school environment in the formation of behavior according to the social demands of students. The location of the research occurred at Public Elementary School (SDN) 2 Sidoharjo, Tugumulyo District, Musi Rawas Regency. The method used in research is an incident or case study. Data collection techniques derived from observation, in-depth interviews and documentation tools, with good informants coming from students, teachers and local community leaders who were determined by purposive sampling. In this study, Bourdieu's theory of habitus and arena is used, in which the habitus is assessed by all activities in the school and the arena is the frequency of the school environment. The results showed that students' social actions were evident in all forms of activities carried out by students in certain social situations. A student's social awareness will be formed by various factors, it could be the reason for external factors or internal factors, meaning that one's actions will continue to be able to adapt to various social situations. The function of the involvement of the school environment in students' social actions, for example: exemplary, habituation, advice, control mechanisms, sanctioning systematic sustainability. Elements of society as one of the applications of all social behavior of many students become an inseparable part and play a role as control of the scale of social priorities in order to become good students.

Abstract

Social Sciences is a subject studied by students since the elementary school level which of course requires learning media as an aid in the teaching and learning process. The background of this research is the limited use of learning media in social studies subjects causes students to experience boredom because the learning process is less fun. Social studies learning is still dominated by teachers which results in a lack of interaction between students when participating in the learning process. The purpose of the research is to develop learning media that will be applied to learning as social studies learning media for ASEAN countries in grade VI SD. In this study, using the type or approach of library research with library data collection methods, reading and recording and processing research materials from journals, books, articles, magazines, websites with various types of publications that are relevant to the development of learning media for ASEAN Class. VI SD. The results of the study show that the learning media Smart Sticker Spin Wheel on the material of ASEAN countries in social studies learning is very suitable to be used in the social studies learning process in class VI SD.

Abstract

In today's modern life, humans really need moral education. And in the case of this research it is motivated by cases of social deviation, the existence of delinquency in which the perpetrators are students who are on average still under age, and also motivated by the condition of the fading culture of reading syi'ir in society, because syi'ir These contain many values ​​that are useful for the formation of moral education. What's more, with the current events in the world of education, it is often marked by an imbalance between worldly/material aspects and ukharawiyah/spiritual aspects. In this case, the researcher hopes to be able to give dedication in the world of education to overcome these basic problems. The book of Syi'ir ngudi susilo by KH. Bisri Musthofa written in Javanese pegon is a book that contains moral/educational teachings to form morals. In syi'ir ngudi Susilo also has the value of basic moral content that is useful for the formation of the growth and development of children's morals with akhlakul karimah. In terms of the value of moral education, students towards educators refer to the point of obedience, where the value of obedience is very important in the world of moral education, because it will have an important influence on the sustainability of the growth and development of students and the Indonesian nation. With the main moral value, namely obedience, students will grow up with noble character.

Abstract

Spatial intelligence or spatial literacy is one of the pillars of geographic intelligence. At every level of education there are various ways to develop innovative geography learning, especially at the elementary school level. However, not all developments in geography learning involve spatial literacy as one of the pillars of geographic intelligence. This research is motivated by the ability of elementary school students in studying geography material. This study aims to provide various recommendations for developing spatial literacy in elementary schools in relation to learning geography. The method used in this study is a literature study, namely by reviewing relevant previous research studies and making conclusions based on the results obtained. The literature selection process is carried out by 4 procedures according to Taylor. The results of this study describe that the development of spatial literacy needs to be accompanied by models and learning media that support each other so as to achieve maximum development

Abstract

Learning media has an important role in improving the learning outcomes of elementary school students. Using audio-visual media can help in the social studies learning process. The purpose of this study is to find out what are the benefits of using audio-visual media in social studies learning for elementary school students. The social studies learning process is usually focused on the teacher, because of the lack of improvisation so that there is no other improvisation that causes students to feel bored and only learn the main material. So teachers need to use interesting learning media so that they can improve the quality of student learning outcomes in social studies scores. This research belongs to the type of qualitative descriptive research. With the method of collecting data using the literature study method.

Abstract

In the process of habituation in character building, Religious Education becomes a very important thing to become a personality who has a tolerant attitude and becomes an effective medium to live a real life. The existence of this character formation effort is in line with one of the habituation programs that have been carried out at SMPN 21 Malang which provides a space to form IMTAQ-valued personalities in their students. The method used is descriptive qualitative with the type of case study because it aims to describe the state of the field that has been observed in depth and present it analytically in the form of interpretation of existing problems based on data sources. The data collection technique used is the triangulation technique (using 3 techniques at once: namely observation, interviews through online media, and observation) and is also supported by fidelity recordings. As for the results of the data obtained, there is a habituation program in the formation of IMTAQ valuable characters through an activity called "Strengthening Character Education (PPK)" which aims to bring up the value of faith, gratitude for favors, and awareness as creatures of Allah SWT in the students' personalities. In the habituation program there are several supporting activities, such as: Morning Prayer Together, Dzuhur Prayer & Friday Prayer in Congregation, and Istigotsah and Tahlil routines every week. The habit of strengthening character education is based on the existence of social ethics and religious awareness as a source of strengthening character education.
