Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach through the production of video lessons by seventh-grade students at SMPN 1 Tanjunganom, Nganjuk Regency. A qualitative research method was employed, utilizing interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that student learning outcomes improved following the implementation of CTL-based video production. Furthermore, the study observed a significant increase in student engagement and enthusiasm during the learning process. This heightened interest is attributed to the hands-on experience of producing short educational videos. The incorporation of video production in learning activities also suggests a potential enhancement of students' higher-order thinking skills.

Abstract

Education is an effort made by an educator to his students so that students get optimal development. Educating children properly and optimally is the duty and responsibility of parents and educators at the same time. Pesantren is a sub-culture is faced with the demand to develop noble life values not only for Islamic religious affairs. Furthermore, the role taken is not only an effort to instill science to the students but also the cultivation of moderate character values and noble morals. This article with a theoretical approach seeks to analyze the efforts that have been made by pesantren so far in instilling moderate character values in their students as a methodological offer to instill moderate character values in a wider and more diverse scope. This research is library research. In this study, the author used text sources both primary and secondary related to Pesantren in an effort to instill moderate character education for students and analyze and examine important factors that can be used as a spur in instilling the value of religious moderation. The results obtained in the study are that there are four important factors in an effort to instill a moderate attitude in religion. First, the Sufistic paradigm that pesantren have, Second, the ethics and culture developed by pesantren, Third, curricular activities in the form of a moderate-minded yellow book study, Fourth, the vital role of kyai in pesantren can be a catalyst for the cultivation of moderate values

Abstract

Islamic educational institutions are known as the oldest educational institutions in Indonesia, but in terms of quality and managerial aspects, Islamic educational institutions are still secondary. This is inseparable from the many challenges and problems of managerial inadequacy that exist in some Islamic educational institutions. Artikel aims to examine the problem of implementing management in Islamic educational institutions. The method used in this article is a literature study by reviewing some literature related to the theme that the author will study. The results show that one of the management problems in Islamic educational institutions is the lack of Islamic education managers in meeting the needs and expectations of stakeholders, then there are still authoritarian and centralistic leadership practices that apply in some Islamic educational institutions, the existence of a dichotomy in Islamic educational institutions that causes the emergence of two groupings to scientists, the lack of competent human resources, especially in its managerial aspect and the strength of several Islamic educational institutions in maintaining the values of local wisdom, so it also has an impact on the unwillingness of Islamic education to innovate in accordance with the times.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the pattern of education significantly. Learning that has been normal and carried out face-to-face has been transferred to online learning in order to suppress the spread of the COVID-19 virus. As the COVID-19 case in Lubuklinggau City has slowed, the local government has issued a policy to enforce Limited Face-to-Face Learning (PTM) in education units. For educational units that are ready to implement Limited PTM, there are several components of a health protocol that must be prepared. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results of the study revealed that the implementation of Islamic education during Limited Face-to-Face Learning (PTM) at MIN 1 Lubuklinggau has been going well. Of course, Islamic education programs such as Friday Barokah/reading Surah Yaasin together and the Al-Qur'an Reading and Writing Program everyday will continue to be carried out, of course, while still implementing disciplined health protocols

Abstract

The Learning From Home (BDR) policy aims to cover all levels of education, from kindergarten to college. BDR activities were initially carried out to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the field of education. In Learning From Home Activities, parents are involved in participating in the learning process, assisting teachers in carrying out the learning process. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, namely a research method by objectively describing the object to be studied by the author without providing additions or changes to the data obtained in the field. In addition, the credibility of the data source is maintained by its extensin. The collection of research data was carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the findings, Learning from home based on the perspective of parents of elementary school students in Bolaang Mongondow Timur that is; 1) The enthusiasm of the parents of students is caused by the activeness of teachers who proactively establish communication and coordination with the parents of students, 2) Most parents do not use technology facilities in learning from home due to various complex obstacles, such as network access constraints and the absence of smartphone facilities 3) Guardians from the lower middle class who work as farmers and fishermen, have a high level of enthusiasm in learning from home compared to parents from the upper middle class who work as government employees and entrepreneurs. 4) There are parents from the lower middle class who work as farmers and fishermen who prefer to invite their children to help parents in the rice fields or in the sea if they have difficulty in helping teachers when teaching their children about learning at school

Abstract

The term multicultural-religious education contains two integrated educational concepts, namely between multicultural education and religious education. Multicultural education is the basis of education that respects cultural pluralism, while religious education is the basis of education based on religious values ​​to give birth to religious people. The combination of these two educational concepts aims to be able to build an education system that can integrate both of them or reduce their weaknesses, especially to implement multicultural religious education management in the existing social stratification. With this there is a process of social change and heterogeneous or multicultural patterns of society. The main factors that determine a person's social strata are wealth, power, occupation, and education, but so are other factors, namely age, gender, religion, ethnic group, race, residence status, and other factors. Through multicultural education that has been managed with a management function, the attitudes and mindset of students will be more open to understanding and appreciating diversity.

Abstract

Supervision of principals in fostering the quality of teacher learning is one of the important programs that must be implemented by principals in fostering teachers to improve the quality of learning. The purpose of this research is to find out the steps taken by the principal in improving the quality of learning supervision, through this research can get fresh air for the principal in improving the quality of learning through supervision of teachers. With the quality of teacher, learning will have a positive impact on in order to improve the quality of education. However, the problem is that the supervision carried out by the principal is still not optimal, this will not have a good impact on improving the quality of education. So the target is the teacher in the learning process, which consists of the main material in the learning process, the compiler of the syllabus and lesson plans, the selection of learning strategies/methods/techniques, the use of media and information technology in learning, assessing the learning process and results as well as classroom action research. Academics in every school are needed to improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

Research conducted at MAN 2 Karawang, this study uses a qualitative approach. Discussed the management of science laboratory facilities and infrastructure at MAN 2 Karawang. The purpose of this study was to determine the management of facilities and infrastructure at MAN 2 Karawang. Where the management of educational facilities and infrastructure is the procurement and utilization to support optimal learning activities. And infrastructure is an important part of educational institutions and is one of the 8 national education standards. Based on the results of research in the management of laboratory facilities and infrastructure at MAN 2 Karawang has carried out the planning, maintenance and removal processes. From one of these processes, the maintenance process is the most important thing in the management of educational facilities and infrastructure. Because, the process can affect the ongoing learning activities / student practicum.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of library governance as an administrator to improve library services in schools during the pandemic. The library is an important part that needs to be developed in every school. Library management is the management of libraries based on theories and principles of management. One form of library management is development. Librarians and library managers during the pandemic were completely forced to change, and librarians had to adapt to the conditions of not being able to serve directly or face-to-face like them. The role of the library in the foreground is to create a cultural society that can still be felt. Currently librarians are trying to transform services that were previously carried out directly into Online services such as fairy tales, seminars, workshops, application development, library accreditation, authorship and other activities, so that the role of library management can still be felt.

Abstract

Significant changes occurred in various industrial sectors, especially in the education sector, so that the government issued an independent learning policy to deal with the paradigm that occurred in the current era. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing an independent learning policy in universities, and to determine the positive and negative sides of the implementation of an independent learning policy on students and universities. The research method used is a literature study which produces descriptive data regarding the influence or impact of the implementation of the independent learning policy in higher education. The results showed that most of the students gave a positive response to the independent learning policy and had implemented various programs contained in this policy. However, in its implementation there is a negative side to students that needs to be minimized so that the implementation and implementation of this policy runs optimally.
