Abstract

Cultural diversity is one of the unique things that exist on this earth with various ethnic groups around the world, as well as the cultural diversity of Indonesia. Therefore, students must be familiar with the various cultural diversity that exists in Indonesia, especially those in the surrounding environment so that students have a sense of love and a sense of belonging to the diversity that exists in the surrounding environment regarding the existing diversity. This study uses a qualitative method. The results of this study aim to assist students in understanding the material on cultural diversity in high grades. The era is increasingly advanced in technology, so the learning tools used are also developing, adjusting the use of technology in learning media, so as not to foster a sense of boredom, and monotony in the classroom during the learning process.

Abstract

Universities should guarantee that graduates are ready for the challenges of current life, work, and citizenship. Thus, universities should manage a myriad of priorities to ensure students’ success in life, work, and citizenship. The first step to take is developing graduate profile. This study aims to design a research road map to develop the graduate profiles of Bachelor of Sharia Economics (BSE) Study Program in UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. BSE has designed three graduate profiles: 1) Practitioners in Islamic finance; 2) Islamic finance & public policy analyst; and 3) Moslem entrepreneur. Therefore, BSE focused on three specializations: Islamic financial institution; Islamic economy & public policy; and halal industry and Islamic business. Islamic financial institution sub major has been designed to support the first profile, Islamic economy and public policy has been designed to support the second, while halal industry and Islamic business has been designed to support the last. These three specializations is strengthened by BSE research studies. BSE research studies were then strengthened by research road map. In other word, research road map was designed to develop research studies, and finally to develop graduate profiles of BSE.

Abstract

The purpose of this research and development is to find a transformative management model that runs at the Ali Maksum Foundation, Pondok Pesantren Krapyak Yogyakarta. The research method used is qualitative analysis with an evaluative approach. The subjects of the study were determined by purposive sampling. The data collection method uses in-depth interviews, participant observations, and documentation, while the validity of the data uses source trianggulation techniques. Data analysis techniques use qualitative data presentation techniques with a discretionary evaluation analysis model. The results of the research of the Ali Maksum Foundation of Krapyak Islamic Boarding School have not implemented transformative management optimally

Abstract

Blended learning is a new method and deemed in accordance with the current ICT developments. In addition to the need for study on the method, blended learning is also felt able to answer the problem of the lack of learning in university that still rely discussion-presentation teaching. This study has the aim to determine whether the results of student learning with blended learning method is better than the method of discussion-presentation viewed from verbal-linguistic ability. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of quasi- experimental, by trying out of a treatment. Techniques hypothesis testing using analysis of variance (ANOVA) two ways with a 2 x 2 factorial (α = 5%) and the prerequisite test used is the average similarity test, test of normality and homogenity test. The results obtained are (1) the results of student learning with blended learning method is better than the results of student learning with the method of discussion-presentation. (2) There is significant influence levels of verbal-linguistic toward student learning outcomes and (3) the results of student learning with blended learning method is better than the the results of student learning with the method of discussion-presentation, both for students with high or low verbal-linguistic abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out 1) How effective is the implementationof academic supervision, 2) How effective is pedsgogic competence,3)personality competence,4)social competence on 5)PAI teacher performance in mediation 6)workplace spirituality The influence of academic supervision, pedagogic competence, personality competence, competence 4)social competence on 5)P AI teacher performance in mediation 6)workplace spirituality in high schools in Kediri district. This study used quantitative methods with a population of 40 and a research sample of 50 respondents. Data collection techniques use questionnaires. The results showed that there was 1) The effectiveness of academic supervision on the performance of PAI teachers in Kediri district is classified as less strong than the overall data showing that workplace spirituality cannot moderate the relationship between academic supervision and teacher performance, but from the overall data workplace spirituality can moderate the relationship between competencies Social and teacher performance.

Abstract

The role of education, especially a teacher, is very necessary for forming and cultivating character in students. The teacher as a role model for his students in shaping provides examples of good character so that they can produce good generations as well. Responding to the problems that occur, the author conducts research with the title "The Role of PAI Teachers as Guides in Fostering Student Politeness at Madrasah Aliyah Sunan Ampel Pare Kediri ". This study aims to 1) Know the role of PAI teachers as guides in fostering student manners at Madrasah Aliyah Sunan Ampel Pare Kediri, 2) Know the methods applied by PAI teachers in fostering student manners at Madrasah Aliyah Sunan Ampel Pare Kediri and 3) Know the supporting factors and obstacles for PAI teachers in fostering student manners at Madrasah Aliyah Sunan Ampel Pare Kediri . This type of research uses qualitative (qualitative research) with a qualitative descriptive research method with a phenomenological approach, in the collection procedure, namely: observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data using technique triangulation and source triangulation. As for the results of the study, it shows that 1) The role of the PAI teacher as a guide in fostering manners at Madrasah Aliyah Sunan Ampel Pare Kediri , namely: the teacher as a guide and the teacher as habituation. 2) The methods applied to support the development of manners in Madrasah Aliyah Sunan Ampel Pare Kediri are: the exemplary method (uswah) and the habituation method. 3) The supporting factors and inhibiting factors for the PAI teacher as a guide in fostering manners at Madrasah Aliyah Sunan Ampel Pare Kediri are: supporting factors, namely being within the scope of Islamic boarding schools and the existence of a strategic program from the madrasa and inhibiting factors, namely the lack of awareness in students.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of human resource management in improving the quality of education at Madrasah Aliyah Ulul Albab Lubuklinggau City. Human resource management (HRM) has a crucial role in improving the quality of education. Madrasah Aliyah Ulul Albab is an Islamic educational institution in Lubuklinggau City which is committed to providing quality education to its students. This study uses the literature study method which involves an analysis of related articles, books and documents. Several factors analyzed in this study include the recruitment and selection of teaching staff, teacher professionalism development, performance management, and internal communication. The results of the study indicate that the role of human resource management plays an important role in improving the quality of education at Madrasa Aliyah Ulul Albab. First, the rigorous and competent recruitment and selection of teaching staff will ensure that only the best teachers are accepted at this madrasa. Second, the development of teacher professionalism through training, workshops and self-development activities will improve the quality of teaching. Third, good performance management will ensure constructive evaluation and feedback to teachers to improve the quality of their teaching. Lastly, effective internal communication between madrasah leaders, teachers and staff will facilitate good cooperation in achieving set educational goals

Abstract

Effective learning is learning that provides the best experience to students in the form of satisfactory results, this is achieved by learning methods that are in accordance with the characteristics of students in general in class. Supported by a good communication relationship between teachers and students so that a good learning environment can be created and later increase students' interest in learning. IPS lessons are the result of the integration of several scientific disciplines, namely economics, history, anthropology, sociology, and geography, the study of IPS is the relationship that occurs between humans and their environment that gives rise to social phenomena. The purpose of this article is to explain and describe contextual learning methods for increasing students' motivation, interest, and achievement in social studies lessons. The method used is the literature study method with SINTA-accredited book sources and journals.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how effective is the implementation of academic supervision, the application of transformational leadership of madrasa principals and educator competencies, and to find out how much influence academic supervision has on educator competence, and determine the effect of transformational leadership on educator competence, and also to find out the influence of academic supervision and transformational leadership together on the competence of educators at MTs Negeri 6 Kediri. This study aims to determine and analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of academic supervision of transformational leadership of school principals, and the competence of teaching staff, and to analyze the effect of academic supervision and transformational leadership on the competence of teaching staff at MTs Negeri 6 Kediri partially or simultaneously. This study used quantitative methods with a population of 65 and a sample of 53 respondents and data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The results of the study show that (1) The effectiveness of academic supervision at MTs Negeri 6 Kediri is in the high and very high categories. (2) The effectiveness of the principal's transformational leadership applied at MTs Negeri 6 Kediri belongs to the high and very high categories. (3) Educator Competency Effectiveness of MTs Negeri 6 Kediri in the High and Very High Categories. (4) There is a significant influence between academic supervision on the competence of teaching staff at MTs Negeri 6 Kediri with a percentage of 8%. (2) There is a significant influence between the principal's transformational leadership on the competence of the teaching staff at MTs Negeri 6 Kediri with a percentage of 42.3%, (33) There is a significant influence between academic supervision and the transformational leadership of the madrasa principal together on the competence of the staff teachers at MTs Negeri 6 Kediri percentage of 42.3%. And the rest is influenced by other factors that are not discussed in this study.

Abstract

This study aims dig deeper into school branding strategies in increasing public awareness. The research method used is a qualitative method focusing on library research. The results of research on school branding strategies in increasing public awareness include (1) cool school uniforms, (2) forming positive characteristics that are superior and proud of, (3) realizing both academic and non-academic achievements, interesting documentation and publications, (4) visual documentation accompanied by written documentation with an attractive design, (5) utilization of information technology, (6) formation of a good slogan or take, (7) creating valued alumni.
