Abstract

The low motivation to learn in students is due to the lack of innovation in teachers in providing teaching to students. Lack of innovation in learning indicates a low quality of education. Teachers who apply one-way learning too often cause students to become passive and not interested in participating in learning so that students do not focus on participating in learning. Therefore, teachers need learning innovations that involve active teachers and students during the learning process. One of the lessons that involves the activities of teachers and students in the learning process is crossword puzzles (TTS). The purpose of this research is to know what application game educational crossword puzzles (TTS) can increase motivation to learn in students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The application of crossword puzzle games (TTS) results in changes in student behavior to become more enthusiastic about participating in a series of learning activities. Students become more active during the learning process going on. This shows that the application of crossword puzzles (TTS) can increase learning motivation in elementary school students

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the low literacy culture of reading and some grade 2 students who still have difficulty reading. One of the school literacy movement programs that can be done to increase students' interest in reading is the reading corner program. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the reading corner in students' interest in reading. The type of research used in this research is descriptive-qualitative, with research methods in the form of observation and literature study. The research subjects were grade 2 students at SDN Tirtayasa. The object of this research was the reading corner in Grade 2. The results showed that the reading corner played a very important role in growing and increasing students' interest in reading at school. Based on the research, it can be concluded that with a reading corner, students can use the reading corner as the closest reading facility, as the closest reading material, and also as a comfortable and attractive place to increase reading interest. The reading corner is managed by teachers as well as students, with the aim of introducing students to fun learning resources

Abstract

One important factor that can affect human development is education in schools. School education is obtained by students through learning activities in schools in a systematic, regular and sustainable manner starting from Kindergarten (TK) to tertiary institutions. It is through elementary school education that humans can get a foundation/pillar that can help humans to acquire basic knowledge as a provision to continue their education to a higher level and be able to develop properly in society. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, data collection techniques, namely by literature review, observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as research instruments in the form of observation papers, interview guides, and other complementary documents such as books and scientific articles. This research method was used because the researcher considered that it was in accordance with the purpose of this study, which was to describe the conditions that occurred and obtain solutions to problems that occurred in early elementary school students, especially grade 1 students at SD Negeri Callingan 02. Through this research, researchers found several problems students in class such as 1) No motivation to learn, 2) Difficulty getting along, 3) Not remembering what has been learned, test schedules, and class schedules, etc. as well as several solutions that can inspire teachers and parents who have the same problem

Abstract

The learning method by means of lectures is felt to be very boring for students in participating in the teaching and learning process. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of ice breaking in thematic learning for elementary school students. The research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. This type of research is field research. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The conclusion of the research shows that the ice breaking technique can be used in thematic learning in elementary schools. The implication of this research is that teachers can apply ice breaking techniques in learning activities, so that learning becomes fun.

Abstract

This study purpose is describe the policy of religious moderation in Indonesia includes strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges. This research uses qualitative research with the type of library research (library research). The data collection by collecting literature related to the research topic, using content analysis. The research results are : Religious moderation is a way of understanding and practising moderate religion and religion by prioritizing the principles of tolerance, inclusiveness and accommodativeness and upholding the constitution of the nation and state. The principles of religious moderation are national commitment, toleration, anti-radicalism and violence, and accommodation of local culture. The government in the religious moderation policy program has things, first: advantages are increasing tolerance; reject acts of violence in the name of religion; strengthening national commitments and encouraging the perspectives, attitudes, and practices of a middle way (moderate) religion; second: weaknesses are lack of understanding and awareness of the community; there are still acts of intolerance, discrimination, and violence; weak law enforcement and low quality of religious education; third: opportunities are support from the central and regional governments; there is cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Religion and various related institutions and organizations; there is a road map for the implementation of religious moderation and there is awareness and participation of civil society; fourth: challenges are claims of truth; there is a religion understanding that is not in line with the national commitment of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia; there are acts of violence committed in the name of religion and the influence of globalization and information technology.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze integrated quality management and its relevance to the extent to which integrated quality management is implemented. This research is focused on two topics, namely, (1) Integrated quality management implementation, (2) Inhibiting and supporting factors for integrated quality management implementation. This research was conducted at the Tarbiyah Sekar Jaya Ogan Komering Ulu Private Islamic Elementary School, using a research method based on descriptive qualitative research. The informants were madrasa heads, administrative staff, teachers, parents, students, the community and this information was obtained through interviews and observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used consisted of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. In addition, the validity of the data through triangulation is used to determine the validity of the data in this study. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of integrated quality management in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Private Islamiyah Tarbiyah Sekar Jaya Ogan Komering Ulu has been carried out or realized, but it is not optimal, it still needs to be improved, especially in the management role of the head of the madrasa who still doubles as deputy head in the fields of curriculum, student affairs, public relations and facilities and infrastructure as well as limited facilities and infrastructure such as houses of worship and halls to support teaching and learning activities, so as to produce graduates who are superior according to the vision and mission of the madrasah.

Abstract

The research used is qualitative research using the case studies research method of 15 scientific journals as references and observations in grade 1 SDN Griya Bandung Indah in confirming the conclusions from the topic of learning motivation on numeracy learning that occurs in the field with various references from expert views, as revealed by the researcher that the case studies research method has very limited subjects studied but the variables studied are very broad, the material of addition and subtraction (Numeration) is problematic for grade 1 elementary school students at this time in the digital age. interesting learning and in accordance with the characteristics of low grade students or early childhood. Education is the main thing for all mankind, without education humans will lose direction and guidance in developing themselves, especially for the generation of the nation in the technological era, it is mandatory for schools to be as high as high, to provide opportunities to work and create. Education is getting higher but the motivation of grade 1 students in studying and going to school is getting lower. This is a problem in education that must be swiftly and quickly addressed, starting from comfort and a learning style that doesn't seem flat. Lower class is the beginning of learning in formal education which must continue to be given a portion of learning and development that is in accordance with the development of fun and fun low class activities for learning basic mathematics

Abstract

This article discusses non-formal education activities in the process of instilling Islamic values ​​in children at the Al-Qur'an Education Park in Kenten Laut Village. In the educational process it is carried out consciously and regularly, but does not really follow standard and firm rules. Non-formal education as a complement to informal and formal education for children. This study aims to determine how the process of non-formal education in inculcating Islamic values ​​in children. The type of research used is qualitative. Analysis of the data used in this study, namely interviews via Google form which serves to explore data or information related to the inculcation of Islamic values ​​in children in non-formal education. The results of this study are that some teachers at TPA Kenten Laut transfer Islamic values ​​to children, one of which is by teaching children the Koran and introducing Islamic aqidah from an early age. Things that can influence the inculcation of Islamic values ​​in children are parents and the surrounding environment. The impact of the inculcation of Islamic values ​​in children in non-formal education is that they can make children pious and pious and get good and right moral and religious values.

Abstract

This study aimed at describing the leadership strategy of women principal. This research was done in UPT SDN 20 Baringin, Tanah Datar. The approach used in this research was a case study. Results of the study in improving the quality of education in UPT SDN 20 Baringin, Tanah Datar include a good per sonal approach with all stakeholders of the school; planning the school with the greatest extent possible, analyze the challenges, barriers and opportunities in the future; establish good cooperation with all educators, empowering educational effort through cooperation, provide an opportunity to improve educators’ practices, and encourage the involvement of the educators on supporting the programs of the school. These results have implications for teachers maximizing existing facilities and infrastructure to maximize the learning process, and schools already have cultural values ​​such as a culture of politeness in speaking, dressing and all aspects of life.
