Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of artificial intelligence (AI)-based service quality and digital customer experience in strengthening customer loyalty, both directly and indirectly through brand equity mediation in e-logistics companies in Indonesia. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a Literature Review model based on 50 relevant scientific articles obtained from national SINTA-indexed journals and reputable international databases such as Scopus. The study synthesizes previous research findings to understand consumer behavior dynamics in the rapidly growing digital logistics industry. The findings indicate that service quality has a significant influence on brand equity and customer loyalty in e-logistics companies in Indonesia. Digital customer experience also positively affects both brand equity and customer loyalty. In addition, brand equity is proven to have a strong influence on customer loyalty, indicating that a positive brand image and customer trust contribute to long-term customer commitment. The study further reveals that brand equity mediates the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty, as well as between digital customer experience and customer loyalty. These findings highlight the importance of improving AI-based service quality, optimizing digital platforms, and strengthening brand equity strategies to maintain customer loyalty and competitiveness in Indonesia’s e-logistics industry.

Abstract

Tourist loyalty is an important factor in maintaining the sustainability and competitiveness of tourism destinations, particularly tourism villages that depend on repeat visits and positive word of mouth. This study aims to analyze the effect of tourist satisfaction on tourist loyalty in advanced tourism villages in Bogor Regency, Indonesia. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with LISREL 8.80 software. Data were collected from 400 domestic tourists who had visited advanced tourism villages more than once through purposive sampling techniques. Tourist satisfaction was measured using four dimensions: attraction, accessibility, infrastructure, and environmental quality, while tourist loyalty was measured through revisit intention and recommendation intention. The results indicate that tourist satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on tourist loyalty, with a path coefficient of 0.80 and a t-value of 7.42. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.71 shows that tourist satisfaction explains 71% of the variance in tourist loyalty. Environmental quality emerged as the strongest dimension influencing tourist satisfaction, while revisit intention became the strongest indicator of tourist loyalty. These findings suggest that positive tourism experiences, particularly related to environmental conditions, encourage tourists to revisit destinations and recommend them to others. The study strengthens the application of Expectancy Disconfirmation Theory in the context of advanced tourism villages and provides practical implications for tourism village managers in improving environmental quality, infrastructure, and visitor experiences to enhance tourist loyalty.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative approach with a causal research design to analyze the influence of work-life balance and competence on career development through compensation as an intervening variable. The subjects of this study were students who have dual roles as workers and students at a university in Jakarta. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires distributed to 92 respondents selected from a population of 120 students using the Krejcie and Morgan table. The data analysis technique used in this study was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on SmartPLS to examine the direct and indirect relationships among variables. The findings indicate that work-life balance and competence have a significant positive effect on compensation, but do not directly influence career development. Meanwhile, compensation has a significant positive effect on career development and also serves as a mediating variable linking work-life balance and competence to career development. These findings highlight the importance of fair compensation in supporting the career advancement of students with dual roles, while emphasizing the need for balanced management between academic responsibilities and professional demands.

Abstract

In contemporary urban societies increasingly integrated into the global economy, language in public spaces no longer functions solely as a means of communication, but also serves as a symbolic resource associated with economic value, social identity, and power relations. This study examines how language choices within the commercial linguistic landscape represent market values and social differentiation in urban public spaces. The research was conducted along Margonda Street, Depok, an urban commercial corridor characterized by intensive language commodification practices. Employing a qualitative approach grounded in critical sociolinguistics, the study utilized systematic observation of commercial signage and advertisements, semi-structured interviews with business owners and employees, and visual documentation as data collection techniques. The data were analysed using thematic analysis to identify patterns of linguistic representation and symbolic meaning. The findings demonstrate that English is strategically employed, both monolingually and bilingually, to construct images of modernity, prestige, professionalism, and global orientation associated with urban middle-class lifestyles. In contrast, Indonesian and local linguistic elements, including Betawi, Sundanese, and Javanese expressions, are used to emphasize cultural proximity, social intimacy, and authenticity. The interaction between global and local linguistic resources produces forms of contextual and market-oriented linguistic hybridity. The study concludes that language within the commercial linguistic landscape functions as symbolic and economic capital strategically mobilized to construct brand image, negotiate social identity, and reproduce symbolic stratification in urban public spaces.

Abstract

This study set out to develop and pilot-test a training module to strengthen work-team performance and collaboration within a School Violence Prevention and Handling Team (TPPKS) that operates under the mandate of Permendikbudristek No. 46 of 2023. We opened with a qualitative needs assessment of an active TPPKS and found recurring collaboration problems, including low participation, unclear roles, and slow case handling. Drawing on Kolb’s experiential learning cycle and social interdependence theory we designed a module that moves through ice-breaking and a video into a positive-versus-negative team role-play and then through reflection and concept delivery toward action planning. Because the session was a trial we recruited master’s students to stand in as proxies for genuine team members and ran a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design in which eleven participants supplied the data we processed in IBM SPSS Statistics while we examined concept-level patterns thematically in NVivo. Pretest and posttest means turned out identical at 76.36 and produced no significant difference at t(10) = 0.000 and p = 1.000 and N-gain = 0.00 even as score variability fell from a standard deviation of 15.02 down to 8.09. The NVivo analysis showed that understanding of the core constructs improved while several applied items declined, and we conclude that within a high-baseline proxy sample the module did not lift mean understanding because a ceiling effect constrained it and yet it homogenized and reshaped the key concepts in a way that makes the module feasible once it is refined and retested with real team members.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality and consumer trust on service management in Indonesia's tourism sector, with consumer satisfaction serving as a mediating variable. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using the Literature Review method. Data were collected reputable scientific articles indexed in national databases (SINTA) and international databases, including Scopus, Web of Science, Emerald, and Elsevier. The analysis process consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to develop a comprehensive conceptual framework. The findings reveal that service quality has a significant influence on consumer satisfaction and service management. Consumer trust also positively affects consumer satisfaction and service management. Furthermore, consumer satisfaction plays a crucial role in enhancing tourism service management. The study confirms that consumer satisfaction mediates the relationship between service quality and service management, as well as between consumer trust and service management. These results indicate that both technical aspects of service delivery and relational factors such as trust are essential determinants of effective tourism service management. This study contributes to the development of an integrative tourism service management model by combining service quality, consumer trust, and consumer satisfaction into a unified framework. The proposed model provides both theoretical insights and practical implications for improving service performance and competitiveness in the tourism industry.

Abstract

This study examines community-based social services for the elderly provided by Elderly-Friendly Village in Cibiru Wetan Village. The objective of the study was to describe the actual implementation of social services for the elderly and to design a framework for community-based social services through an intergenerational collaborative approach. The study employed a qualitative, phenomenological approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with 15 informants, including elderly participants, youth leaders, cadres, and village officials, then analyzed using domain, taxonomic, componential, and theme analysis. The results indicate that the social services implemented include group exercise with the elderly, regular health checkups, arts and recreation activities, savings activities, and home visits for elderly people with mobility limitations. These services contribute to maintaining health, expanding social interactions, and reducing feelings of loneliness in the elderly. However, the involvement of the younger generation in service delivery remains limited, and there is a lack of sustainable cadre development. This framework integrates elderly, youth, families, cadres, and communities in educational activities, social support, and economic empowerment This framework integrates elderly, youth, families, cadres, and communities in educational activities, social support, and economic empowerment. This approach has the potential to improve the well-being of older adults, strengthen social solidarity, reduce intergenerational stereotypes, and support the sustainability of community-based social services.

Abstract

This article analyzes social entrepreneurship for older persons as a community based empowerment strategy in Jatisari Village, Tanjungsari District, Sumedang Regency. The study is grounded in the empirical findings of descriptive qualitative research on elderly empowerment and is interpreted through empowerment theory, social work practice, and social entrepreneurship perspectives. Data were obtained through interviews, observation, documentation, and triangulation involving older persons, families, community actors, village stakeholders, and a local productive enterprise. The findings show that older persons possess social capital, productive skills, and economic experience, but their capacity has not been systematically connected to local economic units, village programs, training, digital literacy, or market access. Batik Umi May and other home-based micro enterprises represent potential entry points for elderly social entrepreneurship because they combine productive activity, social participation, cultural value, and collective support. The article concludes that elderly social entrepreneurship must be developed as an inclusive ecosystem supported by social workers, village government, families, local enterprises, and cross-sector partnerships.

Abstract

Aircraft maintenance operational performance is highly influenced by supply chain effectiveness, particularly spare parts availability and procurement lead time. This study aims to analyze the influence of spare parts availability and procurement lead time on maintenance operational performance at Batam Aero Teknik, a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility operating in the Batam Free Trade Zone (FTZ). A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method involving 57 respondents engaged in maintenance and spare parts management activities. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and supported by interviews. The results indicate that spare parts availability has a positive and significant effect on maintenance operational performance, while procurement lead time has a positive but partially insignificant effect. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence maintenance operational performance. These findings suggest that improving maintenance performance depends more on effective spare parts availability management than solely on procurement speed.
