Abstract

Livestock is one of the livelihoods that contribute to the economy of the Indonesian people, one of which is the Magelang Duck livestock group "Sumber Makmur". However, the problem of high feed prices in the market causes the current profits obtained by the farmer group to be inadequate. In addition, another problem that occurs in the Sempu hamlet environment is the absence of a waste processing site. Residents have to wait for a team of officers who clean the surrounding environment so that garbage often accumulates, which causes pollution to the environment. Therefore, the service team offers a solution by assisting in the cultivation of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae through Organic Waste Bioconversion. The activity was carried out using a Community Development approach, with socialization, training, and practice on the bioconversion process of organic waste using Hermetia illucens larvae. The training and mentoring activities received positive responses from the activity participants. Massive training and mentoring efforts can be carried out to solve environmental and economic problems, especially for Magelang Duck breeders.

Abstract

Clean water is a very vital need for the community and its role can cause disease if it is not monitored for quality and clean water facilities. The community's clean water facilities need to be monitored for elements that can pollute clean water that needs improvement so that the quality of clean water can be maintained. The coverage of clean water facilities can be increased through the manufacture of clean water facilities and the use of raw water by processing it first so that the physical quality of water meets health requirements. The geographical condition of a residential area in the swamp area and riverbanks becomes a problem and challenge in obtaining clean water sources for the community. Several efforts must be made in anticipating negative impacts, including the creation of clean water facilities and water treatment media in reducing the levels of pollutants in the water. In this community service, the object of service is the Clean Water Facility which is still low at 5.4%, and the use of surface water that has not been treated so that water treatment media is needed to meet health requirements to be used as a source of clean water for the community. Making clean water facilities and water treatment systems will improve the quality of water that will be used by the community.

Abstract

The Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) is a plan that describes the procedures and organization of learning to achieve a basic competency set out in the Content Standards. Every educator in the education unit is obliged to prepare a complete and systematic RPP so that learning takes place interactively. The problem that occurs is that the preparation of the RPP is not optimal according to the provisions. The use of technology can be a new innovation in learning activities, starting from the preparation of lesson plans to the delivery of learning materials which we currently know with the online lecture method. The method used is training in the preparation of electronic lesson plans and at the end of the activity, an evaluation is carried out via google form. The results of the training activities showed that the implementation of the training and mentoring went well and received enthusiasm from the subjects. This electronic lesson plan preparation training is important because it helps lecturers prepare teaching materials so that the teaching and learning process becomes optimal.

Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic is a serious problem that is facing the whole world. The pandemic has caused social restrictions that cause concern and stress for many people. The results of preliminary studies conducted on several breastfeeding mothers stated that during the Covid-19 pandemic, there were many mothers' concerns about continuing the process of breastfeeding babies directly. According to global data, the rate of exclusive breastfeeding is quite low, which is only 41 percent. In Indonesia itself, based on Basic Health Research data in 2018, shows that the rate of exclusive breastfeeding only reaches 30.2 percent. The number of exclusive breastfeeding rates, which are small globally and in Indonesia, has worsened with the COVID-19 pandemic. To overcome this, people need to be given health education about the importance of breastfeeding during a pandemic and explain that the COVID-19 virus is not infected through breastfeeding. This community service activity has been carried out from February to April 2021. The results of this activity have a positive impact on the community, especially on breastfeeding mothers.
