Abstract

One of the important technologies to increase agricultural production is irrigation technology which can support plant cultivation systems and act as a water reservoir with a water pump machine support. The principle of several wells is to collect water for irrigation in a cylindrical reservoir that is connected to other reservoirs through a capillary tube. The purpose of this activity is to accelerate the food security system through the dissemination of well-conducted irrigation technology which functions in storing and distributing water, especially in the dry season. The method used in the implementation of this activity is socialization and training as well as assistance in making it well-conducted. The results of collaborative activities to build the nation through community service have a positive impact because they can provide sustainable solutions in improving the food security sector of farmers in Husoak Village, Hubikiak District through the development of knowledge related to irrigation systems and water needs for plants by paying attention to the needs of water and nutrients for plants.

Abstract

The application of carbonization or carbonization model technology to reactor equipment uses a closed method. The purpose of using a closed system is to produce high quality carbon which is shiny black in nature and breaks easily when pressed with the thumb. This technological method is very practical for the community to apply both in the manufacture of reactors and the carbonization process to the manufacture of charcoal briquettes. The reactor can be made from used compressor cylinders or 12 kg gas cylinders. The material is then modified into a reactor device where combustion is carried out in the reactor tube. In the process of carbonizing biomass, neither agricultural nor industrial waste needs to wait until it turns into carbon, in this case black granules. In this training, participants were first provided with theory and explanations about the use of reactor tubes starting from the manufacturing process to carbon production. In making briquettes, several stages are carried out, including drying, waste sorting, carbonization, mixing with adhesive to printing with a briquette size of 3.18 cm and drying using an oven or sun. so that participants can practice at home. This training can provide skills to the participants, as well as open the mindset of how to use the waste around it to be used as a solid alternative fuel. It can also be used as a home industry business so that it can improve the household economy.

Abstract

Improving literacy, especially reading and writing literacy in society, must be one of the centers of attention of various parties. Low literacy skills will encourage people to respond incorrectly to information that has the potential to take actions that are not in accordance with existing rules and can even hinder the growth of the global human development index as the government hopes, and can even harm themselves. This service activity is carried out in an effort to improve literacy in village communities. Activities are carried out by means of outreach, discussions and training that directly involve the community. The implementation of this community service activity proves that the discussion, socialization and training methods can improve the literacy skills of the village community.

Abstract

As one of the Regional Governments whose regions have determined COVID-19, the Bali Provincial Government in this case the Badung Regency Government Center (PUSPEM BADUNG) in the Department of Personnel and Human Resources Development, in 2020-2021 will make efforts to find budget problems. that happened. The issue raised is the Effect of Budget Refocusing for 2020-2021 on Employee Allowances and the inhibiting factors experienced by the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency in carrying out budget refocusing or budget allocation for employee benefits. Where Budget Refocusing is the reallocation of the refocusing activity budget to be allocated to activities that were not previously allocated through a budget change mechanism by activating/moving/lowering the budget from previous activities to other activities. Meanwhile, Employee Allowances are in addition (in various forms) beyond the salary provided by the company to employees to increase income. The results of this study indicate that in 2020-2021 there will be a decrease in Additional Employee Income (TPP) by 50% due to the absence of regional income. Therefore, the implementation of budget refocusing on Employee Allowances is intended as a form of economic support (budget) by refocusing a budget and also other options so that with the enactment of this budget allocation, employee allowances can be realized.

This research is a type of research and development using the 4D model which consists of 4 mutually continuous stages, namely: define, design, develop, and disseminate. STEM-PjBL based worksheet has been developed and validated by material expert validators and media expert validators. Then it was tested on class VII students at SMP N 1 Jambi City. The results of the analysis of science teachers' responses to worksheet obtained an average percentage score of 89.58% which was categorized as "very good". While the results of the student response questionnaire in the small group trial, an average percentage score of 90% was obtained. Then a large group trial was carried out to see the effectiveness of the worksheet. Obtained an average score of students' activity acquisition related to indicators of creative thinking ability experienced an increase. Based on the results obtained in this study it can be concluded that the worksheet developed is feasible to use.

Abstract

The products produced by Home Industry (IRT) are increasing significantly, one of which is Mr Shodiq's IRT located in Kedungkandang Village, Malang City, East Java. The IRT gathers homemakers to make a product, namely starch crackers with the main ingredients from tapioca flour. The productivity of starch crackers has not increased because the Malang area's weather conditions often rain or are cloudy, even exacerbated by pandemic conditions. Drying of starch crackers still uses the direct drying method under the hot sun and knowledge about the importance of the hygienic process of making starch crackers and product packaging. The methods implemented in this service are socialization, counselling, training, and assistance for IRT. The indicator of the success of IRT community service activities is the formation of 6 cadres of IRT members who can practice the drying process with an oven. The results of drying using an oven dryer require a shorter time of 1 hour with a moisture content of about 8% compared to drying with sunlight which requires about 96 hours. Overcast conditions are around 336-360 hours with a moisture content of 10% for full sun conditions and above 12% for cloudy or rainy conditions.

Abstract

Puerperal services are standard health services for mothers from 6 hours to 42 days after delivery by health workers. The service is carried out in the puerperal period because it is a time of crisis for both the mother and the baby. The prevalence of postpartum blues events varies worldwide. The prevalence of postpartum blues in Tanzania is 80% while in Japan it is 8%. This is due to the lack of different diagnosis criteria and research methodologies in each study, in Asia, the prevalence of postpartum depression is between 3.5%- 63.3% where Malaysia and Pakistan rank the lowest and highest. The purpose of this devotion is to improve the mother's understanding of postpartum blues. The solution to the problems faced by the community, especially postpartum mothers, is by providing counseling about postpartum blues.
