Abstract

This community service is carried out to entrepreneurs in the slipper's home industry, precisely in Kotalama Village, Kedungkandang District, Malang City. The micro-business developing in this village manufactures slippers, which only absorbs 3 to 6 workers. IRT "Fla.Fe" was made as a partner because it has problems producing sandals, which are still very simple. Equipment not touched by science and technology has resulted in production results not being maximized, so production income has not been optimal. There still needs to be more understanding about models and variations of flip-flops. So far, cutting the upper is still using the manual method, namely with hand scissors. Through the Unisma Grant (HI-ma) program, it is expected to solve existing problems by designing and making slipper upper-cutting tools to increase production results and business profits.

Abstract

The initial observation showed that there were 27 RTs spread across Padaluyu Village. 8 RTs suffered very severe damage (all houses collapsed) 19 RTs suffered severe and moderate damage. The earthquake in Cianjur was considered quite devastating because with a magnitude of 5.6 SR, it caused severe damage and even caused many casualties who are still missing because they were buried by the ruins of the building. The objectives of this activity are: 1. Supporting communities for economic recovery through entrepreneurial motivation & mentoring. 2. Building villages that have been affected by the earthquake disaster to get back on their feet carried out by lecturers and students with cross-disciplinary knowledge. 3. Socialization and education on how to maintain personal hygiene and the post environment aims to minimize the accumulation of garbage. The method used is starting from Mapping and Coordination of Local Officials, Community Needs, Program Coordination with Partners, Activity Preparation and Facilitators, Entrepreneurship Motivation, Training on Recycling goods into economic goods. The result of this activity is that sustainable innovation is expected to increase the capacity of residents in realizing the marketing of these pillows.

Abstract

The earthquake has devastated various sectors in the affected area. Kampong Pakalongan, Padaluyu Village, Cugenang, Cianjur District is one of the affected areas. Karang Taruna is one of the important elements of society that must be empowered to move society to rise. They can be empowered more with good communication skills. Through a community service incentive program funded by the Directorate General of Higher Education, public communication training was conducted, the program initiated was empowering Karang Taruna with public speaking skill to help managing lost documents and mobilizing residents to carry out Environmental Occupational Health and Safety (K3LH). The program involved thirty members of Karang Taruna in public communication training activities. The goal of this training is to help youth organizations help people who have lost documents and mobilize residents to carry out K3LH, working together to clean up building debris. The training is carried out directly in the field using lecture and discussion methods. The participants could also access infographics broadcasted at YouTube channel https://youtu.be/E3SDsTzabZM. This program can facilitate UIKA to complete IKU 2, 3, and 4, which benefits lecturers, students, and the community all at once.

Abstract

The urgency of this community service activity with the theme of Socializing Digital Entrepreneurs for Generation Z at Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar Private High School is to provide knowledge about digital entrepreneurs and training on applying digital marketing using the E-Commerce platform. The method used to implement this activity is through lectures and direct practice of implementing digital entrepreneurs. The stages of implementing this event include the opening and introduction of digital entrepreneurs, presentations on digital entrepreneurs, presentations on several problems often faced by digital entrepreneurs, then continued with practices related to digital marketing. After the service activities were completed, a follow-up interview was conducted regarding the impact of implementing the service activities

Abstract

The condition of People with Mental Disorders (ODGJ) is a serious public health problem and requires special attention. Proper treatment and good family support are important factors in recovery and improved quality of life for individuals with ODGJ. Community service in strengthening therapeutic regimens for families with ODGJ in the Todo Health Center work area aims to improve family understanding and skills in caring for and supporting family members who experience ODGJ. This service is carried out through a series of activities, including counseling, training, and mentoring families with ODGJ for a certain period. The results of this service show an increase in family understanding of ODGJ, including trigger factors, symptoms, and appropriate actions in responding to crisis situations. In addition, families are also trained in adhering to therapeutic regimens prescribed by medical personnel, including regular medication timing and healthy lifestyles for family members with ODGJ. The results of the evaluation showed an improvement in the quality of life of family members with ODGJ, where they more actively participated in social activities and were able to manage stress arising from ODGJ conditions. In addition, there is also an increase in adherence to the therapeutic regimen he undergoes, so that the use of drugs becomes more consistent and effective.

Abstract

Public services are all activities in the context of fulfilling basic needs in accordance with the basic rights of every citizen and resident of an item, service and or administrative service provided by service providers related to the public interest. The problem to be discussed is the implementation of public service policies by the Regional Public Company for Drinking Water Tirta Sewakadarma for the people of Denpasar City. The technique used by the author is Purvosive Sampling, namely Snowball Sampling in determining the informants of this study, where in the in-sample technique, the number starts from a small number and then enlarges according to information needs. For the Denpasar City Government, considering that clean water services are a basic human need, through PDAM Tirta Sewakadarma it is hoped that the participation of local governments in providing these services is because water is a basic need for humans, of course, people need these types of products. the ability of PDAM Tirta Sewakadarma Denpasar City which has provided facilities to support employee work and provide a sense of comfort to customers, neat appearance, to payment points that provide convenience to customer.

Abstract

The implementation of the uswah method at SMPIT Al-Mufid is an analysis of teacher activities to improve their role in education at SMPIT Al-Mufid. The analysis used is direct observation and participation. The subjects analyzed were principals, curriculum waka, student waka, teachers, and learners. Data analysis is carried out by selecting the data obtained and then collected for analysis and conclusions are drawn. The results of the implementation of the uswah method at SMPIT Al-Mufid have been going well, the implementation of teacher uswah in learning such as by preceding greetings in every learning session, being on time in every lesson schedule, greeting students, giving rewards and appreciating students with congratulations and other motivational words for outstanding students. The implementation of teacher uswah in discipline as seen in the application of discipline in school, the implementation of teacher uswah in worship such as with the implementation of prayer in congregation and on time, and the implementation of teacher uswah in cleanliness as seen in terms of throwing garbage in its place and picking up existing garbage and throwing it in its place and dressing neatly and cleanly. The implementation of students' attitudes in their daily lives can be seen in that SMPIT Al-Mufid students are very polite and respectful towards their teachers.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide TOEFL training to students of grade XII SMA I Masbagik (East Lombok Regency-West Nusa Tenggara). The knowledge and skills they gained from this TOEFL training can later be used to meet the requirements when applying for overseas scholarship programs. 20 students participated in this TOEFL training which was held three times a week for one month, in December 2022. The results of pre-test and post-test indicated that each participant showed an increase in their TOEFL score after the training. In addition, the data gained from interview process revealed the participants’ perceptions which reported positive responses to this TOEFL training. The implication of this community service is that we acknowledge what difficulties students of grade XII have experienced in learning TOEFL and solutions that can be done to help them. Despite this, the limitation of this TOEFL training is that it only involves relatively few participants and in a relatively short amount of time. The next TOEFL training can recruit more participants and allocate a longer training time to obtain maximum result.

Abstract

Indonesian society today has become accustomed to the use of drugs. This can be caused by various factors such as the development of the disease, the production of various types of drugs and supplements, in addition to the large number of pharmacies that sell drugs that do not follow the applicable rules and the start of the implementation of national health insurance such as BPJS has allowed people to get easier access to treatment. These developments have caused various positive and negative impacts. The positive impact that can be seen is that more and more people are starting to care about health by checking themselves into healthcare places. While the negative impact that may arise with the increasing use of drugs in the community is errors in using drugs. This can occur due to a lack of knowledge and information conveyed to the public regarding the use of good and correct drugs. Errors in the use of drugs can cause harm both to society and to the environment. This counseling activity is intended for the community to increase basic knowledge of drugs, namely recognizing drug signs and etiquette (labels) useful for reducing drug abuse and increasing insight into drugs on the market.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Tematik Terintegrasi merupakan orientasi program terfokus pada bidang tertentu sesuai dengan permasalahan kemasyarakatan dan arah kebijakan pembangunan yang diselenggarakan pemerintah pada wilayah tertentu (Kabupaten/Kota). KKN memiliki tujuan untuk mencapai ekselerasi dan efektivitas program pembangunan yang ditandai dengan semakin baiknya kualitas kehidupan masyarakat, partisipasi dan eksistensi masyarakat dalam program-program pembangunan. KKN dibagi menjadi beberapa tahap, yaitu survey, observasi ke desa sasaran, workshop, pendekatan sasaran program, realisasi program, monitoring, evaluasi kegiatan, dan lokakarya hasil KKN. Pelaksanaan KKN dimulai dari tanggal 6 Agustus 2019 sampai dengan 5 September 2019 di Desa Bangunjaya Kecamatan Cigudeg Kabupaten Bogor. Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata kelompok 67-68 di Desa Bangunjaya merupakan program yang lebih menekankan kepada kualitas sumber daya. Kegiatan fisik kelompok 67-68 yaitu pemberian serta pemasangan papan nomor rumah dan pembuatan pos ronda. Dan kegiatan non fisik kelompok 67-68 antara lain penyuluhan kesehatan (PHBS), Sabtu Minggu bersih, senam sehat, kegiatan Bimbingan Belajar (BIMBEL), Mengajar di PAUD, merenovasi ruang kelas PAUD, kegiatan menabung sejak dini, Pengajian di Lokasi KKN, pengembangan UKM, pelaksanaan kegiatan TPA, lomba 17 agustus, dan acara perpisahan KKN.
