Abstract

The phenomenon of people who learn the Quran today is not limited to being able to read properly and correctly based on the science of Tajweed, but there is a tendency to memorize the Quran as Hafidz/Hafidzah in part or 30 juz al-Quran. The method of service for the scholarship program of the Union of Zakat Management of Ibn Khaldun University Bogor for hafid/hafidzhah al-Quran students as one of the community services carried out through four steps of activities starting from selection, determination, assignment, mentoring, and evaluation of memorization activities of the Quran as an effort to nurture generations of the Quran. Based on the results of coaching the hafidz/ hafidzah al-Quran, it is stated that students can consistently maintain mutqin 30 juz while carrying out lectures in the program study within the Faculty.

Abstract

To improve their competence and professionalism, teachers must always reflect on the learning process that they conduct, which is documented in the form of scientific papers called Classroom Action Research (CAR). The knowledge of teachers, especially elementary school teachers, regarding CAR is still very limited. Therefore, the PKM team of English Education Study Program lecturers carried out PKM activities on CAR. The purpose of this activity was to provide teachers with an understanding of the importance of CAR and how to conduct it. The activity was carried out using lecture, question and answer, and discussion methods. This activity took place for two days and was attended by 50 representatives of elementary school teachers in Sambas Regency. The results of the activity showed that the teachers were very enthusiastic and actively asked questions during the presentation and actively participated in group discussions. From the discussions and presentations, it was found that elementary school teachers in Sambas Regency were able to reflect on their classroom teaching to identify problems encountered in class, found the causes and solutions to the problems.

Abstract

Social media has become an important tool for businesses to market their brands and reach a wider audience. Social media optimization is the process of improving social media strategies to achieve better results, such as faster follower growth and increased interaction with potential consumers. In this community service activity, the author discusses and conveys the importance of optimizing the use of social media for marketing and provides several tips for achieving this to MSME entrepreneurs in the Banyuasin sub-district. This community service activity was attended by 35 entrepreneurs in the culinary, accessories and fashion fields in the Banyuasin sub-district. This activity lasted 2.5 hours, starting with a presentation by each author, then presenting examples of the application of marketing on social media, and ending with a discussion session that very much aroused the enthusiasm of the participants about optimizing social media in MSME operations. Community service like this must continue to be carried out to increase public awareness that digitization can increase efficiency in business and can increase MSME sales.

Abstract

Digital marketing is a promotion activity and market search through digital media online by utilizing various means such as social media. This service program aims to improve knowledge and skills about digital marketing, especially social media, for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) business people to increase sales and profits. Attended by silver craftsman MSME participants in Celuk Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. The methods used in service program activities, namely; socialization of social media use; sharing experiences and discussions; Next, the practice of creating social media accounts and how to make them attractive to buyers in the form of words, stories, images, and others. The results of service activities show that some business actors actively use social media as a promotional tool and have not separated personal accounts from online store accounts, some MSME participants use it occasionally and the rest of, the participants have never used social media marketing due to lack of technological skills. Overall, participants showed great interest in using social media marketing on an ongoing basis.

Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is to provide knowledge and skills to prospective teachers of Islamic Religious Education at STIT NU Al Faraby Pangandaran in applying the Project Based Learning (PBL) learning method. The implementation of this service uses training and simulation methods including the provision of material, demonstrations, exercises, and simulations. Evaluation is carried out to determine the understanding and skills of trainees by comparing the results of the pre-test and post-test then analyzed quantitatively with the calculation of N-Gain. The results of this service show that prospective teachers who are students of the PIAUD STIT NU Al Faraby Study Program can apply the Project Based Learning (PBL) learning method with all learning steps well. With this activity, it is hoped that in the future prospective PIAUD teacher students can apply the PBL method directly in teaching practice (Teaching Internship Activities) besides that it can also directly increase confidence in carrying out their teaching duties after graduating at their respective workplaces.

Abstract

Dental and oral health in Indonesia is still a health problem that requires attention. To address dental and oral health problems in Indonesia, particularly in school-age and adult groups, it is necessary to carry out promotive-preventive activities by inviting local universities and business entities that focus on dental and oral health. The most common dental and oral diseases are caries and periodontal disease. One of the strategies of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in reducing the number of dental caries sufferers is by declaring the "Carry Free Indonesia 2030" program. The lack of knowledge and awareness of the Indonesian population regarding dental hygiene and the difficulty of reaching information due to the geographical conditions in several regions in Indonesia which make it impossible to hamper the distribution of education. The Training of Trainer Program targets teachers and parents for 21 days of morning and evening toothbrushes, teaching children and adults about the benefits of good oral hygiene and showing them how to brush their teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste. This program aims to provide comprehensive, applicable and sustainable education and knowledge about dental and oral health to school-age children in Indonesia.

Abstract

Financial reports are very important for the running of a company. Quality financial reports must be relevant and reliable. In this digital era, financial reports can be easily applied to software that is easily accessible to the general public, such as Google Sheets. UD. Behind The Name is a garment company engaged in the production of clothing so far still uses bookkeeping for financial reports. The application of digital financial reports will make it easier for users, and report readers and will also make it easier to calculate, as well as record. Improperness in writing financial statements can cause errors in the submission of reports that can cause losses due to miscalculations, or unreadable writing. Therefore, digital financial reports are very important, especially in an era that makes it easier for us to use technology. This is the background for the author to carry out service activities in the context of Field Work Practices by assisting the finance staff in making financial reports using Google Sheets.

Abstract

Mental disorders are still a global concern, including in Indonesia. According to basic health research conducted by the Indonesian Ministry of Health, as much as 0.14% of Indonesia's population has severe mental disorders. This is mainly due to the lack of mental health services, especially in remote areas such as East Nusa Tenggara which have limited health services. The purpose of community service is to optimize the role of mental health cadres in community mental health programs by providing mental health cadre training so that cadres can carry out their roles which include primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention. This research method was carried out by providing educational training to mental health cadres. This training is expected to be able to help puskesmas increase the coverage and sustainability of mental health services to ODGJ by optimizing the role of the community, in this case, especially mental health cadres by carrying out early detection and mobilizing ODGJ and their families to carry out treatment so that there are no more ODGJ who are shackled but can instead recover and be productive.

Abstract

The existence of MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) as community businesses in Sulahan Village is quite lot of existence, but knowledge about IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) is still minimal. One of the problems found in Sulahan Village is the knowledge of the MSME owner community regarding the procedures for registering IPR. An alternative that can protect MSMEs from IPR protection is to register MSMEs with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. By registering the trademark of the MSME, the MSME gets legal protection. IPR registration can be beneficial for MSME actors. This is useful for the protection of a brand, copyrighted work, and product for these MSME business actors. Thus, MSME actors can avoid similarity or plagiarism of other brands, and avoid lawsuits. Through the IPR Education program for MSMEs, it is expected to increase insight and knowledge for MSME owners about the importance of IPR for legal protection. Based on these problems, the author through Community Service activities has carried out IPR Counseling for Jaje Upakara MSMEs in Sulahan Village. The method used is to provide education on understanding IPR, which is carried out through three stages. Namely: the stage of observation, interview, and implementation of work programs in Sulahan Village. The results of the education carried out are in the form of knowledge about IPR Registration to the public and products in the form of PPT.

Abstract

The implementation of habituation and assignment of something good to students is something positive, especially what is accustomed to congregational prayer and dhuha prayer. This habituation will be very memorable in the minds and behavior of students. Including the assignment to be an imam, the reading of prayers after congregational prayers and dhuha prayers is more memorable than just religious knowledge. The implementation of this observation method shows that the habituation and assignment method for students at MAN 1 Bogor shows quite satisfactory results. For congregational prayers zhuhur and ashar 80% and for dhuha prayers reaching 90%, this is something extraordinary. MAN 1 Bogor whose students learn more religion than schools, such as high schools or vocational schools, has not been able to apply the habit of congregational prayer and dhuha prayer 100%. This is caused by several factors, one of which is diverse student input, and awareness for it has not been maximized. But the author is optimistic that if this method of habituation and assignment continues, it will become a habit for students in the future.
