Abstract

Dunu Village is one of the villages in the North Gorontalo region which has the potential for beach tourism and paragliding sports tourism as well as the potential for camping tourism. Most of the professions of the Dunu people are fishermen and farmers. The life of the Dunu village community only relies on income from marine products and agricultural products, while the tourism potential has not been properly explored. Community-based tourism is a concept for developing tourist villages by involving and placing local communities who have the authority to manage and develop their own areas to improve the welfare of local communities and the sustainability of local culture and natural resources. This research aims to provide input and recommendations for planning strategies for the development and management of tourist destinations in the coastal and hill areas of Dunu Village, Monano District, North Gorontalo Regency using a community empowerment approach. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive analysis method. The results of the research are then used as input for planning and developing and managing the tourist area in Dunu Village, namely the strategy for developing and managing the tourist village of Dunu Village which has tourism potential which will be supported by the regional government, village government, academics, business managers and Pokdarwis.

Abstract

The problem of anti-corruption legal culture in Indonesia is a very complex issue and has many dimensions. Corruption not only damages the integrity of public institutions, but also reduces public trust in the government. In this case, it is important to realize that corruption is a systemic problem and requires a comprehensive approach to overcome, highlighting how social and cultural norms can support corrupt practices, emphasizing the importance of strategies that consider the local context, the formulation of the problem in this study is how effective the legal culture is in supporting anti-corruption law enforcement in Indonesia and the challenges it faces in controlling community behavior. This research methodology uses normative juridical with a legal enforcement theory framework by Roscoe Pound, a theory that aims to create harmony and harmony in society. The results of the study indicate that the importance of legal awareness: public awareness and discipline towards the law are greatly influenced by the norms that exist in society. Therefore, legal norms must be able to create shared expectations and mutual trust among members of society, cultural approach: developing corruption eradication strategies that are sensitive to local community norms and values, and introducing gradual cultural changes through public awareness campaigns and education

Abstract

The background of this research is the discovery of students who find it difficult to understand and compose descriptive text due to a lack of enthusiasm in students due to inappropriate learning models. The aim of this research is to describe (1) the implementation of the Team Games Tournament type cooperative model based on Wordwall media in learning to compose descriptive texts for class VII students at SMP Negeri 3 Satap Bonepantai, (2) the ability of class VII students at SMP Negeri 3 Satap Bonepantai in compiling descriptive texts, (3) factors that influence the implementation of the Team Games Tournament type cooperative model based on Wordwall media in learning to compose descriptive text. This research uses descriptive methods. The results of the research show that (1) the implementation of the TGT type cooperative model based on Wordwall media in learning to compose descriptive text is categorized as complete, (2) The students' ability to compose descriptive text is categorized as very good, (3) Factors that influence the success of implementing the Wordwall media based TGT type cooperative model (a) ability to understand learning models and media, (b) availability of facilities and access to technology, (c) knowledge, motivation, creativity and student cooperation, (d) conducive learning atmosphere, (e) preparation of learning designs and materials appropriate (f) limitations time

Abstract

The background of the research examines the factors that cause the incompatibility of government regulations with real conditions in the field related to inclusive education. The methods used are qualitative descriptive and analyze documents, regulations applied in public elementary schools in the city of Bandung and explore the perception of teachers, students, parents and education staff. The purpose of the study is to find the compatibility between the rules and the implementation of inclusive education that focuses on equity, equal opportunities for all students from diverse backgrounds. The results of the study still have a sharp gap between rules and real conditions such as the student admission process, curriculum, assessment system, teacher availability, and facilities needed.

Abstract

Character education is an important foundation in the formation of student character and the role of regional heads in supporting the process of superior character education. This study aims to analyze the role of regional heads in educating student character and its impact on creating a superior generation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study indicate that regional heads play a role through the preparation of character education policies, facilitating moral value development activities in schools, and cross-sector collaboration to support sustainable character education. This study concludes that the active involvement of regional heads is able to encourage the creation of a generation that is intelligent and strong in morals and ethics

Abstract

The background of the research examines the importance of the role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) based on the duties and functions of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in the Village Government Program. The purpose of this research is to understand the role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in the implementation of government programs in Bualemo Village, Kwandang District, North Gorontalo Regency. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive type of research. The research results show that the coordination of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) is not yet optimal, as evidenced by the lack of information transparency and coordination that is not fully proactive. The cooperation between the Village Consultative Body (BPD) and the Village Government has not been fully effective, as evidenced by the lack of attendance of BPD members at the office, which delays decision-making by the Village Government and results in minimal meetings with the Village Government. The evaluation of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) is still lacking in the implementation of government programs. Although the Village Consultative Body (BPD) participates in discussions and provides opinions, the implementation of evaluations is still limited and often not well-documented.

Abstract

This study started from curiosity about the serial film Layangan Putuh which attracted a lot of attention from Indonesian people in all circles. The purpose of this study was to find out the responses of the viewers of the serial film Layangan Putuh and analyze it with the theory of literary psychology. The method used in this study was qualitative with the technique of obtaining information through in-depth interviews with students at Weetebula Catholic University. The results of this study indicate that most of the students reject the cheating behavior played by the characters Aris and Lydia. They see it as a disgrace. The data for this study were obtained from in-depth interviews. The results of this study can be used as evaluation and control material for families to maintain loyalty in family life

Abstract

The phenomenon of increasing numbers of school dropouts in Madale Village, influenced by socio-economic factors, as well as less than optimal government intervention, has become an urgent need to be studied in order to evaluate the role of the government in effectively overcoming this problem. This study aims to determine and describe the role of the government in overcoming school dropouts in Madale Village, North Poso City District, Poso Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods in the form of in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that supporting facilities for school dropouts are still less than optimal, such as uneven program realization, low community access to information and educational assistance. The government as a motivator is also still less than optimal, this is because the implementation and encouragement of the government are considered not optimal and have not been evenly felt by children who have dropped out of school. In addition, the government as a mobilizer is considered still not optimal, this is because the government has not been able to mobilize elements of society or community leaders to help overcome the problem of school dropouts. This study suggests that the active role of the village government is very much needed to reduce the number of school dropouts through a more effective and sustainable facilitation, motivation, and mobilization approach.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the poverty situation in Dolong B Village and the factors that influence community welfare. The method used was descriptive qualitative, with interviews with village officials and the community. The results revealed that the village's remote location is a major obstacle to increasing residents' income. Limited access to markets outside the village prevents agricultural and fishery products from being marketed optimally, resulting in underutilization of the existing economic potential, resulting in low daily income. Furthermore, this study identified micro-business opportunities that could be developed, such as home-based culinary arts, handicrafts, and skilled services. This potential is considered realistic for increasing family income, especially for housewives and village youth

Abstract

This study evaluates the proficiency of english teachers at SMPN 2 Mootilango before digital transformation, with the objective of identifying issues in pedagogical methods, classroom management, and the utilization of instructional media. A qualitative case study approach was utilized to collect data via classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis. The findings demonstrate that teacher-centered instruction, dependence on rote memorization, and inadequate classroom management practices substantially impeded student involvement and language acquisition. Moreover, inadequate instructional resources and insufficient professional development opportunities hindered pedagogical creativity. These findings highlight the imperative for adaptive professional development programs that furnish educators with varied techniques, irrespective of technological accessibility
