Abstract

This study examines the influence of Value added intellectual coefficient (VAIC) and Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) on firm value within Islamic contexts, employing a quantitative approach with data from 40 companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange from 2019 to 2022. The results reveal a significant positive relationship between VAIC and firm value, indicating that efficient management of intellectual capital enhances market valuation. Conversely, ISR demonstrates a significant negative impact on firm value, suggesting that the costs associated with ethical and social compliance may outweigh short-term financial benefits. The study contributes to the literature by integrating VAIC and ISR into a dual performance measurement framework, offering insights for businesses seeking to balance financial and ethical objectives. However, the research has limitations, including a narrow sample limited to Indonesian companies and a short observation period, which may affect the generalizability of the findings. Future studies could expand the geographical scope and incorporate longitudinal data to validate these results across diverse Islamic business environments.

Abstract

Job satisfaction is one of the factors in obtaining and achieving maximum performance. When employee at all levels from lower level to upper feels satisfied, it positively impacts the development of the organization. BPKAD of West Java Province, there is indication of a high level of employee tardiness which may contribute to a decline in job satisfaction. Factors that can increase job satisfaction include the implementation of Dynamic Working Arrangement (DWA) and an ideal non-physical work environment. This study aims to examine the effect of the implementation of DWA and a non-physical work environment on the job satisfaction of civil servants in BPKAD of West Java Province, both partially and simultaneously. This research is quantitative research, the sample consists of 60 civil servants at BPKAD of West Java Province using the Slovin formula. The sampling technique applied was probability sampling, Data were collected through library research and field research. The data analysis methods used include descriptive and associative analysis, with multiple regression analysis conducted using SPSS version 24. The results show that the implementation of DWA and non-physical work environments, both partially and simultaneously, have an impact on the job satisfaction of civil servants at the BPKAD of West Java Province. It can be concluded that the increasing implementation of DWA and non-physical work environments.

Abstract

The increasing number of cases of violence against women has made West Java Province the province with the highest number of cases of violence against women nationally, according to the 2024 annual report of the National Commission on Violence Against Women (Komnas Perempuan). Employees of the West Java Provincial DP3AKB are at the forefront of handling cases of violence, with various tasks under their purview. The complexity of these tasks requires professionalism, empathy, and supportive working conditions both physically and psychologically, making job satisfaction a crucial element. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of physical work environment and work load on the job satisfaction of DP3AKB staff. This study is a descriptive quantitative study using three variables. The data used consists of primary data from a survey of 66 participants and secondary data from literature reviews. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the physical work environment and workload, both separately and together, have a positive influence on the job satisfaction of DP3AKB employees.

Abstract

The digital transformation of election monitoring and reporting systems has become a critical need to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu). This study aims to analyze the influence of digital technology utilization and the efficiency of SIWASLU reporting on Bawaslu's monitoring performance in Kebumen Regency. Using a quantitative approach and explanatory method, this study involved 155 respondents consisting of Panwascam, PKD, and PTPS members in Alian District. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method with the SmartPLS 3.0 application. The results indicate that digital technology utilization and SIWASLU reporting efficiency have a positive and significant effect on Bawaslu's performance. The R² value of 0.664 indicates that the two independent variables explain 66.4% of the variation in Bawaslu's performance. This study recommends optimizing the use of digital technology in reporting and enhancing human resource capacity to strengthen digital-based election supervision systems at the regional level.Keywords : community empowerment, individual roles, community roles, power, education Keywords: Digital Technology, Reporting Efficiency, SIWASLU, Bawaslu Performance, Election Monitoring

Abstract

Abstract This article reexamines the relevance of Jean Piaget's cognitive development theory, particularly the concrete operational stage, to the thinking patterns of elementary school children in the modern era. Using a literature review method, this study compares Piaget's classical theory with recent research findings that describe the influence of technology, digital media, and socio-cultural contexts on children's cognitive development. The results of the study show that although the basic principles of Piaget's theory are still relevant, today's children exhibit new dynamics in logical thinking due to exposure to technology and digital learning environments. Modern children are able to understand symbols and abstract concepts more quickly, but sometimes experience difficulties in concentration and social interaction. Therefore, Piaget's theory needs to be interpreted contextually, taking into account cultural factors and technological developments, in order to remain effective as a basis for learning in elementary schools. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisa fundamental terhadap harga saham dalam meningkatkan nilai perusahaan pada sektor perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Secara umum terdapat beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan dan harga saham pada perusahaan sektor perbankan yang terdaftar di BEI. Dalam penelitian ini melakukan analisa faktor fundamental dalam memberikan pengaruh terhadap harga saham serta upaya meningkatkan nilai perusahaan sektor perbankan. Kebutuhan data yang diperoleh melalui laporan keuangan perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode tahun 2023-2024. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa secara parsial Return on Equity berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap harga saham, Inflasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham, harga saham berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, Return on Equity tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, inflasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Harga saham tidak mampu memediasi hubungan Return on Equity terhadap nilai perusahaan dan harga saham tidak mampu memediasi hubungan inflasi terhadap nilai perusahaan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja pegawai pada Sekretariat DPRD Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu Timur melalui pendekatan SWOT. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan penyebaran kuesioner. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pegawai memiliki kekuatan dalam hal kompetensi, disiplin, dan struktur kerja yang baik, namun masih menghadapi kelemahan seperti kurangnya pelatihan dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Peluang pengembangan kinerja sangat terbuka melalui dukungan pemerintah dan kemajuan teknologi, namun terdapat ancaman berupa perubahan regulasi yang cepat dan keterbatasan anggaran. Hasil uji hipotesis menyatakan bahwa faktor internal dan eksternal berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Oleh karena itu, strategi peningkatan kinerja perlu diarahkan pada pemanfaatan kekuatan dan peluang serta pengelolaan kelemahan dan ancaman secara integratif. Abstract

Employee performance is a cornerstone of effective local government administration, including at the Office of Transmigration and Manpower of East Luwu Regency. However, bureaucratic dynamics often influenced by non-technical factors such as personal favoritism in promotions and low transparency in human resource policies pose significant challenges to sustaining optimal performance. This study aims to examine both the simultaneous and partial effects of job satisfaction and organizational climate on employee performance. Employing a quantitative approach, the research surveyed the entire population of 45 civil servants (census sampling) using a Likert-scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed through multiple linear regression. The results indicate that organizational climate has a positive and statistically significant effect on employee performance, whereas job satisfaction exerts a negative and statistically insignificant effect. Collectively, the two variables explain 36.4% of the variance in employee performance. This finding reveals a paradox: high levels of social comfort (hygiene factors) alone are insufficient to enhance performance without a fair, merit-based reward and promotion system (motivator factors). The study concludes that human resource management reform should prioritize strengthening organizational climate and implementing meritocratic promotion practices, rather than focusing solely on conventional job satisfaction initiatives. Abstract

Zakat, as a socio-economic instrument in Islam, plays a strategic role in improving community welfare, including in education. Through the "Smart Surabaya" program and various forms of scholarships and educational assistance, BAZNAS Surabaya strives to provide equitable and equal access to education for students from underprivileged families. This study aims to analyze how the optimization of zakat funds by the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of Surabaya City contributes to education financing and reduces dropout rates among underprivileged communities. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection methods in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that BAZNAS Surabaya manages zakat professionally, transparently, and accountably through a structured collection, distribution, and utilization mechanism. The zakat scholarship program is designed based on an analysis of the recipients' needs and is implemented through a strict selection system, educational mentoring, and periodic evaluation to ensure program effectiveness

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) test and analyze the influence of work discipline, work motivation, work ability, and work experience on employee performance at the East Luwu Regency Health Office; (2) test and analyze the simultaneous (joint) influence of work discipline, work motivation, work ability, and work experience on employee performance at the East Luwu Regency Health Office. The research was conducted at the East Luwu Regency Health Office. The population consisted of 126 individuals. The research method employed was observation. The data types used were both qualitative and quantitative. Data sources included primary and secondary data. The analysis methods comprised descriptive analysis, correlation coefficient, and validation testing using simple correlation, processed with IBM SPSS software. The hypothesis testing results indicate that: (1) work discipline has a positive influence on employee performance; (2) work motivation has a positive influence on employee performance; (3) work ability has a positive influence on employee performance; (4) work experience has a positive influence on employee performance; (5) the four variables simultaneously have a positive influence on employee performance at the East Luwu Regency Health Office.
