Background: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a chronic lung disease with progressive, irreversible and partially reversible airway obstruction. COPD includes chronic bronchitis and emphysema, or a combination. COPD patients generally complain of continuous shortness of breath and this will result in a decrease in the patient's quality of life and as a result the patient will go back and forth to the hospital. To prevent this, it is necessary to do breathing exercises. The aim of implementing EBNP is to implement Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) and Deep Breathing Exercises (DBE) interventions to change the shortness of breath response in COPD patients in the form of a randomized controlled trial with a pre-post-test design. The sampling technique uses G-Power version 3.1.9.7 with T-test, one tail, effect size 0.53, alpha error 0.05, and power 0.80, a minimum of 18 is required plus a possibility of error of 10%, so the number of patients needed in this study is 20 at Persahabatan Hospital, East Jakarta. The implementation of PMR actions with 13 (thirteen) movements and DBE with 6 (six) movements is carried out every day for 5 weeks, from May 15 to June 16 2023. Method: The study design in this research is a case study involving 40 respondents. Respondents were divided into two groups, namely 20 people in the PMR group and 20 people in the DBE group. Evaluation is carried out every week using the dyspnoe-12 instrument. Results: This application shows that there is a difference in the response to shortness of breath between before and after the PMR procedure (P value 0.001) and the DBE procedure (P value = 0.001). Conclusion: The application of EBNP recommends the need for nurses to carry out PMR and DBE interventions to change the shortness of breath response in COPD patients.

Circumcision (circumcision) is a minor surgical procedure that is generally performed on children. Circumcision is the act of cutting the foreskin on a boy's vital organ, namely the skin that covers the head of the penis. The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between parental knowledge and wound care in school-aged children 10-12 years after circumcision. This type of research is qualitative description with a cross tabulation approach. The total population is all children who underwent circumcision (50 respondents) with samples taken using a random sampling system. From the results of the research in univariate analysis, it was obtained: Frequency distribution of the level of knowledge of the majority of parents in the Sufficient category = 27 (54.0%); Frequency distribution of wound care in school-aged children 10-12 years after circumcision, the majority in the Good care category = 34 (68.0%); Frequency distribution of the relationship between parental knowledge level and wound care in school-aged children 10-12 years after circumcision. The majority of parental knowledge levels are in the Fair category and wound care is in the Good category = 31 (62.0%). The results of the bivariate analysis research show that there is a significant relationship p value = 0.01 < ? = 0.05 (significance value 95%; H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted). It is assumed that "There is a correlation (relationship) between parental knowledge and wound care in school-aged children 10-12 years after circumcision". It is hoped that parents can increase knowledge about injuries in school-aged children 10 - 12 years after undergoing circumcision.

Background: Hemodialysis patients can experience psychological problems such as: stress, anxiety, depression, and insomnia or disturbed sleep quality. Prolonged sleep quality disturbances can have an impact on the patient's quality of life, thus requiring interventions that are safe and easy to implement, one of which is Benson relaxation. The aim of applying Benson's relaxation to sleep quality in chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients undergoing hemodialysis. The application of evidence based nursing practice (EBNP) is through literature searches via the PubMed data base with the final result being an article entitled "The Effect of Benson's Relaxation Technique on the Quality of Sleep of Irian Hemodialysis Patients: A Randomized Trial" in the form of a randomized controlled trial with pre -post-test design. The sampling technique used G*Power based on effect size = 0.73, power of 0.8, and ? = 0.05 with 44 hemodialysis patients (22 intervention group and 22 control group) at Tarakan Hospital, Central Jakarta. The application of Benson relaxation is carried out for 20 minutes, 2 times a day 3 days per week for 4 weeks from June 16 to July 15 2023. Sleep quality data was collected using the PSQI questionnaire before and after the intervention with paired t-test and independent sample test. t-test. The results of the implementation showed that the sleep quality score after the intervention had improved (p value 0.002) in the intervention group, while the sleep quality score did not improve in the control group (p value 0.061). The calculated t value between the intervention group and the control group was 2.894 (p value 0.006), so there was a significant difference in sleep quality between the two groups. Conclusion: there was an increase in the sleep quality score of hemodialysis patients in the intervention group and there was a difference in the average quality score after Benson relaxation between the intervention group and the control group. Suggestion: Benson relaxation can be used as a nursing intervention for hemodialysis patients as a measure to prevent sleep quality disorders.

Diabetes mellitus is a disease that has a characteristic sign in the form of an increase in glucose levels exceeding the normal range. The prevalence of diabetes mellitus is increasing significantly. Currently, the management of diet, exercise, and the use of pharmacological therapy are options in the management of diabetes mellitus. In addition to these therapies, there are complementary therapies such as acupressure combined with brisk walking. The purpose of this study was to prove the combination of acupressure and brisk walking intervention in influencing fasting blood glucose levels. This research was a quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent control group design with pre-test and post-test. This study had 76 respondents with type II diabetes mellitus who were divided into 4 groups and were taken using a consecutive sampling technique. This research was conducted in Bulu Health Center Work Area, Temanggung Regency on April, 7th 2021 – May 9th 2021. The pre-test and post-test difference test used the paired t-test and the Wilcoxon test. The difference test between groups used the Kruskal – Wallis test and continued with the Post Hoc Mann – Whitney test. This study showed that there were significant differences before and after treatment in all groups (p = 0.001). The results of statistical tests also showed that the combination of acupressure and brisk walking was the best treatment for reducing blood glucose levels (p < 0.05) compared to other treatments. Complementary therapy in the form of a acupressure and brisk walking combination is the most effective treatment in reducing blood glucose levels.
