Abstract

This community service activity aims to broaden PAUD teachers' insights about tools and materials that can be used to create Educational Cloth Books in improving skills in making teaching aids in early childhood education. Educational Cloth Books are books made of soft cloth and filled with soft polyester fiber-like pillows that can be used as educational aids at the early childhood education level. The Educational Cloth Book is accompanied by funny pictures and adapted to the theme and uses a simple story method so that it is easy for children to understand. The method used in this activity included identifying participants, organizing, namely negotiating with related parties, explaining, introducing the Educational cloth book model, demonstrating how to make it, and then the participants made an Educational cloth book. The results of the training showed that PAUD teachers in Tikung District received additional knowledge about making teaching aids in the form of Educational Cloth Books, being able to create Educational Cloth Books with various themes to be applied to teaching institutions so that learning becomes more meaningful and fun for children. In addition, teachers can develop RPPH (Daily Learning Implementation Plans) that can be applied to the learning process and train creative teachers to create educational teaching aids with materials from the surrounding environment. After implementing this community service, it is suggested to PAUD teachers apply the knowledge and skills acquired in their respective schools to improve the quality of learning at PAUD institutions

Abstract

Primary education about the separation of assets in a marriage agreement is an essential education for the community in building an ideal household. Although the marriage agreement is considered unnatural by most people, this provision is an act that is permitted by law in Indonesia. This study aims to determine public education regarding the Marriage Agreement as a form of legal protection for married couples. The research method used is normative juridical with a literature study approach. The study results show that the basic principles of marriage agreements in Indonesia are based on positive law and Islamic law. Its relevance is described in the Constitutional Court Decision Nomor 69/PUU-XIII/2015, and the Compilation of Islamic Law, which regulates the marriage agreement, is complementary and not contradictory. The conclusions in this study explain that basic education efforts regarding marriage agreements are important as an effort to manage a good household and avoid bad things.

Abstract

The Bandung City Government encourages participation through the decentralization of waste management. Unfortunately, the TPS 3R Maleer as one of the pilot waste management sites in Bandung City could not promote equal participation in the implementation of decentralized waste management. This study aims to analyse the application of participatory development in the implementation of decentralization waste management in Maleer Village. Based on qualitative approach and a descriptive type, this study explain the stages, mechanisms, and benefits of participatory development. The results showed that the participatory development in decentralized waste management in Maleer Village lack of the community's participation. The participatory development stage from decision-making, implementation, and utilization has been carried done, however we did not see the community involvement in the evaluation stage. Moreover, the participatory development mechanisms have also been carried out through socialization and education, consultation, collaboration, and empowerment of waste management. Unfortunately, this mechanism has not realized sustainable activities due to the low commitment of the community. We found that the lack of community participation in decentralized waste management in Maleer Village is caused by some reasons. Non-formal evaluation did not run regularly and lack coordination in formal evaluation. Then, the low commitment of the community is caused by the lack of public awareness, limited time, limited capacity, and low community intention in sorting waste.

Abstract

To survive the Covid-19 epidemic, businesses must employ innovative and important methods, one of which is functional food diversification for product expansion and higher selling value. However, some beginner entrepreneurs still do not understand this strategy, which causes the business to not develop, including what is experienced by partners. The goal of this community service project is to expand partners' knowledge of the marketing of diverse functional food products made from ginger, which was previously done in product production training. Marketing knowledge was provided through counseling methods related to digital marketing, packaging selection, and product licensing. The partners of this activity are the PKK group of RW 06 Rungkut Lor, Rungkut District, Surabaya. Participatory Action Research (PAR) with a counseling mechanism is the community service strategy adopted. Evaluation of increased knowledge using the pretest and posttest methods. The questions' components include the marketing process, marketing mix, digital marketing, general understanding of product licensing, and information related to NIB, PIRT permits, halal certificates, and BPOM food permits. According to the evaluation findings, there was a 9.59% gain in expertise in digital marketing outreach efforts and a 33.33% rise in product licensing outreach activities. It is envisaged that this increase in learning would aid in the resolution of partner product marketing issues and boost partner economic welfare.

Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic and Tropical Cyclone Seroja have had a negative impact on MSMEs in the tourism sector in Kupang City. The closure of tourist sites resulted in a decrease in the family's economic capacity. The aim of PKM is to empower business actors to be able to maintain their business in order to improve the family economy. Empowerment of management aspects using the PRA method through Secondary Data Collection, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and Participatory Modeling Mapping and implementation stages through outreach, training/simulation and mentoring as well as evaluating the use of the SI-Apik application and ultra-micro financing for tourism businesses in Lasiana City Beach Kupang. Partners are 5 housewives who have been running the business for more than 10 years. The analysis results showed an increase in understanding, knowledge, ability, and skills in utilizing financial applications between >50%-100% for 5 indicators and 20%-40% for 4 achievement indicators. Abstract

The quality of education depends on the quality of the learning process, for this reason an appropriate learning model is needed. This study aims to overcome the problem of low student scores caused by the lack of effectiveness of the learning methods used. As an alternative option, the quantum teaching learning model can be applied to improve student learning outcomes. The research approach applied is a quantitative experimental design using the ABCD (Audience, Behavior, Conditions, and Degree) training model. Data collection methods used include observation, communication, document study, and measurement techniques. The tools used to collect data included observation guides/checklists, interview guides, questionnaires, documentation, and tests. Data analysis was carried out by testing for normality and conducting a paired samples test. Based on the research results in the "paired samples test" output table, it was found that the value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the average difference between pre-test and post-test learning outcomes, it can be concluded that the use of the quantum teaching learning model influences improving learning outcomes.
