Abstract

Around 40.9 million Indonesians live in landslide prone areas. In the Ponorogo regency of the East Java province, there are 9 sub-districts that have been designated as landslide prone areas with the mild to severe category. One of the villages has experienced landslides in 2017, Banaran village of Pulung district, which 28 villagers became victim and 23 houses buried. Children are virtually one of the most vulnerable groups to being affected by disasters. The vulnerability of children to disasters is triggered by a limited risk understanding which results in a lack of preparedness in facing disasters. Achieving school preparedness is very important considering that Indonesia is a country with a high risk of disasters. It is very important to raise awareness of disasters as early as possible to minimize the impact of disaster risks. The preparedness of the school component is still below expectations, the regulations formed by providing education and simulations to students about disaster response and the impact of disasters are able to reduce disaster risk considering that children are one of the vulnerable groups. We counseled students of SDN Bekiring in Ponorogo to instill their understanding about landslide disaster mitigation. Sekitar 40,9 juta penduduk Indonesia tinggal di daerah rawan longsor. Di Kabupaten Ponorogo Provinsi Jawa Timur, terdapat 9 kecamatan yang telah ditetapkan sebagai daerah rawan longsor dengan kategori ringan sampai berat. Salah satu desa yang pernah mengalami longsor pada tahun 2017 adalah Desa Banaran Kecamatan Pulung yang mengakibatkan 28 warga menjadi korban dan 23 rumah tertimbun. Anak-anak sebenarnya merupakan salah satu kelompok yang paling rentan terkena bencana. Kerentanan anak terhadap bencana dipicu oleh pemahaman risiko yang terbatas yang berakibat pada kurangnya kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi bencana. Mewujudkan kesiapsiagaan sekolah menjadi sangat penting mengingat Indonesia merupakan negara dengan risiko bencana yang tinggi. Sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kesadaran bencana sedini mungkin untuk meminimalkan dampak risiko bencana. Kesiapsiagaan komponen sekolah masih dibawah ekspektasi, regulasi yang dibentuk dengan memberikan edukasi dan simulasi kepada siswa tentang tanggap bencana dan dampak bencana mampu mengurangi risiko bencana mengingat anak merupakan salah satu kelompok rentan. Kami mendampingi siswa SDN Bekiring di Ponorogo untuk menanamkan pemahaman tentang mitigasi bencana longsor.

Abstract

Online learning is the newest way of learning, where students can access the material directly even in far places. Online learning is a way to deliver material without having to meet with students. The purpose of this activity is to find a relationship between online learning and the activeness of elementary school students in Sumberagung Mantup Lamongan. The data used in this study, namely: data on the results of student activity in accessing online learning, ranging from participation in accessing e-learning and reading material, participating in discussions in online learning. Student data used as many as 133 students, and the variables of this study, namely the number of values involved in the discussion, the total value of reading material. The results of this study indicate that there is no correlation between students' interest in reading online learning and discussion activeness at online learning, with a correlation value of -0.024. Pembelajaran secara online merupakan cara pembelajaran terbaru, di mana peserta didik dapat mengakses materi secara langsung walaupun di tempat jauh. Pembelajaran online merupakan cara menyampaikan materi tanpa harus bertatap muka dengan peserta didik. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini, yaitu mencari hubungan antara pembelajaran online dengan keaktifan siswa SD di Sumberagung Mantup Lamongan. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: data hasil keaktifan siswa dalam mengakses pembelajaran online, mulai dari keikutsertaan dalam mengakses e-learning dan membaca materi, ikut serta dalam berdiskusi dalam pembelajaran online. Data siswa yang digunakan sebanyak 133 siswa, dan variabel dari penelitian ini, yaitu jumlah nilai ikut berdiskusi, jumlah nilai membaca materi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak adanya korelasi antara minat membaca siswa dalam pembelajaran online terhadap keaktifan berdiskusi pada pembelajaran online, dengan nilai korelasi -0,024.

Abstract

Sidowayah is a hamlet located in Sidoharjo Village, Jambon District. Sidowayah is known as an idiot village, even though actually there are only a few people having mental limitations. On the other hand, Sidowayah is also an area that has advantages both in natural and human resources. The productive age of the Sidowayah community has been on the rise lately, the most prominent is the existence of youth where they have the determination to advance the hamlet, one of them in the economic field. Mushroom cultivation is a long-term plan for them, and therefore better mushroom cultivation training done by university side as proposer plays an important role in realizing these ideals. The training was intended as an initial provision before starting a business. The impact of the training is expected to be able to provide provisions and motivation for young people to start a mushroom cultivation business. In addition, it is expected that the existence of mushroom cultivation can increase assets and the economy of the community of Sidowayah. Sidowayah dikenal sebagai desa idiot, meskipun sebenarnya hanya ada beberapa orang yang memiliki keterbatasan mental. Di sisi lain, Sidowayah juga merupakan daerah yang memiliki keunggulan baik dalam sumber daya alam maupun manusia. Usia produktif masyarakat Sidowayah telah meningkat akhir-akhir ini, yang paling menonjol adalah keberadaan kaum muda di mana mereka memiliki tekad untuk memajukan dusun, salah satunya di bidang ekonomi. Budidaya jamur adalah rencana jangka panjang bagi mereka, dan oleh karena itu pelatihan budidaya jamur yang lebih baik, yang dilakukan oleh pihak universitas sebagai pengusul program pengabdian kepada masyarakat, memainkan peran penting dalam mewujudkan cita-cita ini. Pelatihan ini dimaksudkan sebagai inisiatif awal sebelum memulai bisnis. Dampak pelatihan ini diharapkan mampu memberikan bekal dan motivasi bagi generasi muda untuk memulai usaha budidaya jamur. Abstract

Abstract This community service activity aims to provide education and assistance to Kader Posyandu Rambutan and Posyandu Nusa Indah in Mekarwangi village, Tangerang, by providing an adequate understanding of effective accounting practices and introduction of financial accounting standards for non-profit organizations (PSAK 45). The method of community service activities is carried out through several stages. The first stage is the assessment of needs. The second stage is the implementation of activities in the form of education and accounting assistance which is carried out through the delivery of material and direct assistance in bookkeeping for Posyandu and discussions. The third stage is monitoring which aims to accommodate the problems experienced by Posyandu during the accounting process. Based on the activities carried out, Kader Posyandu are quite helpful in the bookkeeping process which has been considered difficult due to their lack educational background on elementary and junior high school, so that their competencies need to be improved, therefore Posyandu bookkeeping and/or accounting practices can run effectively and can also improve the timeliness of Posyandu formal reporting to Mekarwangi Village Midwives and Puskesmas (community health center). Community service activities still need to be continued to other Posyandu in Mekarwangi Village so that the competence of accounting among Kader Posyandu can be evenly distributed. Keywords: accounting, posyandu, Mekarwangi village Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi dan pendampingan bagi Kader Posyandu Rambutan dan Posyandu Nusa Indah di Desa Mekarwangi, Tangerang, dengan memberikan pemahaman memadai tentang praktik pembukuan (akuntansi) yang efektif dan pengenalan standar akuntansi keuangan organisasi nirlaba (PSAK 45). Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan. Tahap pertama adalah kegiatan penjajakan kebutuhan. Tahap kedua adalah pelaksanaan kegiatan berupa edukasi dan pendampingan akuntansi yang dilakukan melalui penyampaian materi dan pendampingan langsung pembukuan Posyandu dan diskusi. Tahap ketiga adalah monitoring yang bertujuan untuk menampung permasalahan yang dialami Posyandu selama proses pembukuan (akuntansi). Berdasarkan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan, Kader Posyandu cukup terbantu dalam proses pembukuan yang selama ini dianggap sulit dikarenakan kompetensi pendidikan mereka yang mayoritas SD dan SMP sehingga kompetensinya perlu ditingkatkan agar praktik pembukuan (akuntansi) Posyandu bisa berjalan secara efektif dan dapat meningkatkan ketepatwaktuan pelaporan formal Posyandu kepada Bidan dan Puskesmas Desa Mekarwangi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat masih perlu dilanjutkan ke Posyandu lainnya di Desa Mekarwangi agar kompetensi pembukuan (akuntansi) para Kader Posyandu dapat seimbang. Abstract

Abstract People of Nangkek in East Gili, Madura, have a very simple life with livelihoods as builders, porters, seasonal farmers and unemployee. Daily necessities such as vegetables are obtained by planting plants in the front or back of the house such as chillies, spinach, and Moringa trees. To satisfy needs of vegetables, they pick, for example, vegetables from Moringa leaves. It is commonly understood that Moringa leaves are very good for our bodies and brings many benefits for our healthiness. Proposers through Community Service provide training on Moringa leaves becoming a Moringa dye for body health. This activity aims to develop entrepreneurship of each household to support the development of the creative economy. The results of these activities include: 1) increasing the entrepreneurship spirit of each head of household in an effort to support the community development activities; 2) the entrepreneurial community has business planning capabilities; 3) increasing the ability of the entrepreneurial community in conducting business operations. The method used is training, assistance and evaluation that is carried out during the community service program until the partners are able to develop the business well. It is finally concluded that as the partner (homemade), they will be creative and productive for their family’s income. Keywords: Utilization, Moringa leaf packaging, Health Abstrak Masyarakat Nangkek di Gili Timur, Madura, memiliki kehidupan yang sangat sederhana dengan mata pencaharian sebagai kuli bangunan, kuli angkut, petani musiman, dan pengangguran. Kebutuhan sehari-hari seperti sayuran diperoleh dengan menanam tanaman di bagian depan atau belakang rumah seperti cabe, bayam, dan pohon kelor. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sayuran, mereka memilih, misalnya, sayuran dari daun kelor. Secara umum dipahami bahwa daun kelor sangat baik untuk tubuh dan membawa banyak manfaat bagi kesehatan kita. Pengusul melalui program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat memberikan pelatihan tentang daun kelor menjadi minuman kelor celup untuk kesehatan tubuh. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kewirausahaan setiap rumah tangga untuk mendukung pengembangan ekonomi kreatif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini meliputi: 1) meningkatkan semangat kewirausahaan setiap kepala rumah tangga dalam upaya mendukung kegiatan pengembangan masyarakat; 2) komunitas wirausaha memiliki kemampuan perencanaan bisnis; 3) meningkatkan kemampuan komunitas wirausaha dalam melakukan operasi bisnis. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan, pendampingan dan evaluasi yang dilakukan selama program pengabdian masyarakat sampai para mitra mampu mengembangkan bisnis dengan baik. Akhirnya disimpulkan bahwa sebagai mitra, mereka akan kreatif dan produktif untuk pendapatan keluarga mereka. Kata kunci: Pemanfaatan, Pengemasan daun kelor, Kesehatan

Abstract

This article describes the results of community service by the engagement team of Islamic University of Malang which is conducted toward the teachers of an elementary school in Sukun District, Malang City. The program aims to improve the teachers’ ability in writing research in particular using the classroom action research (CAR) method of which conducting the report always became the difficulty for them. Therefore, in this occasion we identify the problems as follows: a) deciding the topic for the CAR, b) creating the title for the research, c) creating research questions, d) creating the stages of the research and also relevant instrumentation to collect the data, e) writing discussion for the results, then composing the suggestion and conclusion from the results. The method of implementing community service is done by carrying out training and practice of writing CAR. From the results of the training, found that it were quite good where elementary school teachers gained experience about writing CAR. The participants were very enthusiastic about the training, so in the end of this activity, it is expected that by conducting this CAR training, they will be able to conduct the research both independently and in groups. Keywords: CAR, mentoring, training Abstrak Artikel ini menjelaskan hasil pengabdian masyarakat oleh tim pengabdi dari Universitas Islam Malang yang dilakukan terhadap guru-guru Sekolah Dasar di Kabupaten Sukun, Kota Malang. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menulis penelitian khususnya menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang mana melakukan laporan selalu menjadi kesulitan bagi mereka. Oleh karena itu, dalam kesempatan ini kami mengidentifikasi masalah sebagai berikut: a) memutuskan topik untuk CAR, b) membuat judul, c) membuat pertanyaan penelitian, d) menciptakan tahapan penelitian dan juga instrumentasi yang relevan untuk mengumpulkan data, e) menulis diskusi hasil, kemudian menyusun saran dan kesimpulan dari hasil. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan melakukan pelatihan dan praktik penulisan PTK. Dari hasil pelatihan, ditemukan bahwa guru Sekolah Dasar memperoleh pengalaman tentang menulis PTK. Para peserta sangat antusias dengan pelatihan ini, sehingga pada akhir kegiatan ini, diharapkan dengan melakukan pelatihan PTK ini, mereka akan dapat melakukan penelitian baik secara mandiri maupun dalam kelompok. Abstract

Cassava, one of the staple foods of Indonesian people beside rice and sago, is promoted by the government as rice consumption replacements, together with corn, sago or potatoes. Cassava is indeed very easy to plant in all types of land, as in Krajan Hamlet, Blimbing Village, Dolopo District, Madiun Regency where almost every house has cassava plants on its garden. This fact encourages the engagement team to take the initiative to provide training of creative cassava processing. This activity aims to increase the economical value of cassava, which is one of the assets in the Krajan Hamlet, and is expected to be able to increase the family income, most of which are former migrant workers. Through the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) method with some of its tools, found that the innovative and creative cassava process training in the form of "Si Engkong" cake can provide new insights and knowledge about cassava processing that have high selling points within the community. With a better processing of cassava, "Si Engkong" cake is expected to become a new trade commodity for the residents of Krajan Hamlet and its surroundings, so that it can raise the community's economy level. Singkong memang sangat mudah ditanam di semua jenis tanah, seperti di Dusun Krajan, Desa Blimbing, Kecamatan Dolopo, Kabupaten Madiun di mana hampir setiap rumah memiliki tanaman singkong di kebunnya. Fakta ini mendorong tim pengabdi untuk mengambil inisiatif memberikan pelatihan pengolahan singkong. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan nilai ekonomis singkong, yang merupakan salah satu aset di Dusun Krajan, dan diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga, yang sebagian besar adalah mantan pekerja migran. Melalui metode ABCD (Pengembangan Masyarakat Berbasis Aset) dengan beberapa alatnya, ditemukan bahwa pelatihan proses singkong yang inovatif dan kreatif dalam bentuk kue "Si Engkong" dapat memberikan wawasan dan pengetahuan baru tentang pemrosesan singkong yang memiliki nilai jual tinggi. Dengan pengolahan singkong yang lebih baik, kue "Si Engkong" diharapkan menjadi komoditas perdagangan baru bagi penduduk Dusun Krajan dan sekitarnya, sehingga dapat meningkatkan tingkat ekonomi masyarakat. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the nutritional status of toddlers whose status is still at the threshold below the red line (BGM - Bawah Garis Merah) and malnutrition that mostly caused by parenting practices that do not meet health standards. Child feeding, food menu presentation, and environmental hygiene were among several factors that cause the occurrence of BGM and malnutrition in toddlers in Bulak Banteng village of Kenjeran District, Surabaya City. In this program, the researchers used the Participatory Action Research (PAR) social research method that consists of three interconnected words (participation, research and action). In the process, researchers come with nutritionists, Posyandu cadres, and toddlers’ mothers who are affected by malnutrition. The first program creates study groups to make it easier to organize and research together, called Toddler School "Anak Aktif Ceria". The results obtained indicate that there is an increase in knowledge of toddlers’ mothers and as expectedly an increase in body weight as concrete evidence that parents are implementing the knowledge gained through the toddler school. Keywords: malnutrition, parenting, toddlers’ mother, toddlers’ nutrition, toddler school Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan status gizi balita yang statusnya masih di ambang batas di bawah garis merah (BGM - Bawah Garis Merah) dan gizi buruk yang sebagian besar disebabkan oleh praktik pengasuhan yang tidak memenuhi standar kesehatan. Pemberian makanan anak, penyajian menu makanan, dan kebersihan lingkungan adalah beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya BGM dan gizi buruk pada balita di desa Bulak Banteng, Kecamatan Kenjeran, Kota Surabaya. Dalam program ini, para peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian sosial Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang terdiri dari tiga kata yang saling berhubungan (partisipasi, penelitian dan tindakan). Dalam prosesnya, peneliti datang dengan ahli gizi, kader Posyandu, dan ibu balita yang terkena gizi buruk. Program pertama menciptakan kelompok belajar untuk membuatnya lebih mudah untuk mengatur dan meneliti bersama, yang disebut Sekolah Balita "Anak Aktif Ceria". Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan pengetahuan ibu balita dan seperti yang diharapkan peningkatan berat badan sebagai bukti nyata bahwa orang tua menerapkan pengetahuan yang diperoleh melalui sekolah balita. Multimedia learning has been widely used as a medium of learning in the classroom as its effectiveness in improving student learning outcomes. However, there are still many schools unable to develop and implement it, due to the lack of knowledge and skills of teachers in developing it, the unavailability of means to implement it, and the absence of special training to develop it. This program aims to provide training in designing and developing interactive learning multimedia for teachers at Bajangan Elementary School, Pasuruan Regency. Using the guided tutorial method which is directly guided by an expert trainer, found that the final result of the training is that the teachers are able to develop multimedia interactive learning independently in accordance with the characteristics of their field of study. The evaluation process, by visiting the school one week after the training activities and by looking at multimedia learning programs, shows that the program has been successfully developed by the teachers. Abstrak Pembelajaran multimedia telah banyak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di kelas karena efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Namun, masih banyak sekolah yang tidak dapat mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikannya, karena kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru, tidak tersedianya sarana, dan tidak adanya pelatihan khusus untuk mengembangkannya. Program ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dalam merancang dan mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif untuk para guru di Sekolah Dasar Bajangan, Kabupaten Pasuruan. Menggunakan metode tutorial terbimbing yang dipandu langsung oleh pelatih ahli, didapati bahwa melalui pelatihan ini para guru dapat mengembangkan pembelajaran interaktif multimedia secara mandiri sesuai dengan karakteristik bidang studi mereka. Proses evaluasi, dengan mengunjungi sekolah satu minggu setelah kegiatan pelatihan dan dengan melihat program pembelajaran multimedia, menunjukkan bahwa program tersebut telah berhasil dikembangkan oleh para guru.
