Abstract

Aceh merupakan salah satu provinsi yang masih terus bergelut dengan masalah kesenjangan ekonomi. Masih banyak masyarakat Aceh yang bekerja sebagai buruh harian dengan pendapatan yang minim dan kondisi kekurangan pengetahuan untuk pengelolaan sumber daya. Hal ini terus meningkat kala kondisi Aceh atau suatu daerah tertentu dihadapi dengan kondisi-kondisi bencana alam yang membatasi perputaran ekonomi dan kelancaran aktifitas normal harian seperti kondisi oleh pandemi covid-19 dan bencana alam. Untuk mendukung upaya dalam membantu masyarakat kecil yang terdampak ekonomi maka diperlukan peran akademisi, mahasiswa, masyarakat lainnya untuk bersama-sama membantu menyelesaikan masalah yang ada disekitar salah staunya dengan mengadakan bakti sosial dan pelaksanaan pelatihan secara berkelanjutan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk membantu masyarakat, membangun rasa empati antar sesama dan membantu meningkatkan pengetahuan untuk pengelolaan sumber daya. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah penyaluran bakti sosial yang disalurkan tepat sasaran dan pengadaan pelatihan atau kunjungan relawan yang dilakukan akan bersifat berkelanjutan.  Kata Kunci: Ekonomi, bakti sosial, covid-19, bencana alam.

Abstract

The development of technology and information in the form of the internet has grown rapidly. Not only for the elderly, but also for young people who use it, the increasingly easy use of the internet has been misused for gambling games. Initially people access online games, then out of curiosity and curiosity, people follow online gambling. Online games as an unreal virtual space make users free to do things that are prohibited in life, both in religious norms and prohibited by law, such as online gambling. Based on this background, the formulation of the problem from this legal counseling is how the criteria for online gambling criminal acts and how to sanction online gambling crimes in the perspective of Islamic law and national law. This legal counseling activity is carried out using lecture and discussion methods. Participants were given motivation and understanding about understanding online gambling in the perspective of Islamic criminal law and national criminal law. In addition, participants were given material on the importance of understanding the criteria for acts of online gambling and the sanctions of online gambling crimes. The objectives of the service to the millennial generation in Banda Aceh City are to: 1). Provide knowledge about the criteria for online gambling crimes and 2). Providing understanding to the millennial generation about online gambling criminal sanctions in the perspective of Islamic Law and National Law. this is also part of capturing problems that occur in society.

Abstract

Evaluation of the Medium Term Development Plan (RPJM) of Nagan Raya Regency for 2017-2022 is information that generally describes the general description of the results of the assessment of the RPJM regarding the achievement of Financial Performance and Analysis of Achievement Indicators of vision and mission, substance in accordance with targets and performance indicators as well as RPJM Systematics as materials to support development planning in Nagan Raya Regency in the future. This paper aims to see the results of the Nagan Raya Regency RPJM Evaluation which objectively provides an assessment with the data presented sourced from the Nagan Raya Regency RPJM documents for 2017-2022 and other planning documents for accountable comparisons for improving the quality of development planning in the future. come.

Abstract

SD 9 Banda Sakti is located in Lhokseumawe City which based on a disaster risk assessment has medium to high risk of a tsunami disaster. The initial discussion of the service team with SD 09 Banda Sakti concluded that SD 09 Banda Sakti had never received counseling related to disasters, especially the tsunami disaster. Whereas SD 09 Banda Sakti is one of the schools located directly opposite the beach. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out tsunami disaster counseling at SD 09 Banda Sakti. In addition to counseling about the tsunami disaster, SD 09 Banda Sakti also needs to get counseling about little doctors so that students are able to become agents of change to behave in a clean and healthy life and respond to disasters. This counseling is very needed to be a provision for students who are in high risk areas for tsunami disaster. The method used in this activity, which was attended by 85 students was lecture and singing. Based on the pre-test and post-test, this outreach activity can increase students' knowledge about the tsunami disaster by 40%.

Abstract

Di era milenial sekarang ini, perkembangan informasi media sosial (medsos) tidak selalu menjadi rahmat bagi  manusia. Artinya, banyak informasi yang berdampak negatif bahkan menjadi petaka disebarkan. Karenanya, diperlukan kecerdasan literasi media untuk memahami, menganalisis, mengintepretasi, dan mendekonstruksiperspektif jurnalistik bagi calon insan pers dalam penggunaan media sosial seperti internet, bagi kebutuhan kehidupan insan, terutama dalam menghadapi media baru (new media). Tujuannya, menjadi karya kreatif dan inovatif bagi calon insan pers dan wahana transformasi pengetahuan serta kreasi seni bagi publik atau bagi masyarakat yang berminat membaca. Manfaatnya, menjadikan pribadi calon insan persn yang ‘melek media’, dan mampu mengeluarkan pendapat secara kritis atas informasi atau pesan yang dapat diserap dari media. Senantiasa bersikap terhadap isu, permasalahan yang muncul  secara bijak, tidak mudah terbawa arus dan tergiring opininya menuju hal yang bersifat negatif. Targetnya, calon insan pers mampu melahirkanpemahaman  dan konsep menulis dengan baik dan memiliki intuisi (nurani) yang tajam terhadap aspek kehidupan dan peristiwa.Menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi, caranya menampilkan materi dalam bentuk power point. Hasilnya, calon insan pers dapat melahirkan karya berkualitas yang memiliki fungsi pemberi informasi tentang suatu situasi dan keadaan terhadap peristiwa agar pengguna media lebih memahami tentang isu yang dikonstruksi oleh calon insan pers untuk selanjutnya  diakses ke publik.

Abstract

Indonesia's infant mortality rate is still relatively high when compared to other countries in Southeast Asia. This is caused by many things, including inadequate health facilities for underprivileged communities in rural areas. One solution that can be done is to make incubator equipment that is simple but reliable enough so that it can be loaned out for free to underprivileged families in need. Mini Factory for Portable Incubator is a fabrication activity carried out at the USK Mechanical Engineering Department that aims to produce incubator units designed by experts from the University of Indonesia. This fabrication activity is the result of a collaboration with BFLF Indonesia which funds program activities. The resulting incubator is then handed over to the BFLF Indonesia institution to then distribute it to underprivileged families in need on a free loan basis. The main target is underprivileged families in the province of Aceh. Another outcome is the wide publication of the Acehnese people through the mass media, both print and online.

Abstract

Milkfish Processing Training for the Seumadu Island Community, Batuphat Barat Village, Muara Satu District, Lhokseumawe City is important to carry out, because nowdays Lhokseumawe - Aceh, is experiencing the Covid-19 pandemic which affects almost all sectors of the community's economy, including the tourism sector, so that it can boost the community's economy, especially the family economy, because milkfish has been a side sector for the people on Seumadu Island in addition to the tourism sector. There is also a method that is designed in this presto milkfish processing training to involve two groups of people who live in the tourism area of Seumadu Island, including: a group of housewives, and a youth group of Karang Taruna. Then these activities are also trained by experts in their fields who have experience in conducting fish processing training outside Aceh. Among the various types of fish, milkfish is one of the fish that is easy to find and has a lot of nutrition, because it contains many spines so that it is less attractive to the public. Then, milkfish also smells of earth, so many people do not like it. The smell of earth in fish can be caused by the presence of geosmin compounds produced by the fungus Actinomycetes and blue algae Oscillatoria tenus. This often occurs in ponds that are shallow and located far from the sea (land ponds), with this training, it can make milkfish taste more delicious and odorless, so that it can be liked by the general public.

Abstract

Students who succeed in physics olympiad are students who are able to compete in solving problems in the olympiad. Therefore, it is necessary to provide guidance and assistance to students, which aims to increase students' reasoning power so that maximum results are achieved. The method used in this coaching and mentoring is the drill method, which is intensive mentoring that aims to develop students' reasoning power. There are stages that are passed in this mentoring and coaching, namely the planning, implementation and evaluation stages. The result of this coaching and mentoring is that there is an increase in students' abilities, that is, from good times the tests are carried out there is a significant increase in student abilities. In the first test students can only answer 14 questions or less than 75% of the total 20 questions given. In the second test and so on, it continued to increase. In the sixth test the questions answered correctly reached 90% and even almost 100%.

Abstract

The community service program of the Malikussaleh University 2021 with a study in the drug-prone village of Gampong Mon Geudong, Banda Sakti District, Lhokseumawe City. PemudaGampong Mon Geudong (PGM) Bersinar is a partner who runs a catfish farming program with a biofloc system. In its management, partners experience limited mastery of biofloc system catfish farming techniques, product marketing, and community vulnerability to drug abuse. To overcome this problem, solutions will be offered for partners in overcoming problems faced by partners which we will package in the form of meetings with partners and related parties. These solutions are to provide knowledge for catfish farming with a biofloc system. Solutions by carrying out Focus Group Discussions (FGD) for community empowerment through catfish farming with a biofloc system, so that they can discuss and identify problems and solutions for the solution for the stage of community empowerment through awareness, capacity building and empowerment for the next stage of making an independent and free economy from the dangers of drugs.

Abstract

Today's work climate has metamorphosed very dynamically, the human resources produced have also skyrocketed, but it does not match the available job vacancy. This becomes a problem every year as if there is no common ground. The implementation of Community Service facilitated by Assalam radio is directed to answer the above problems by providing enlightenment to prospective students, prospective alumni, and alumni of Communication Studies to be aware and ready for the realities of the existing job opportunities. Community Service was delivered in a talk show format, guided directly by Assalam practitioners. The initiators who also fill the program are two lecturers, one from Communication Studies, Teuku Umar University and the other from Islamic Communication and Broadcasting, State Islamic University Ar-Raniry. The results and conclusions that can be conveyed are that community service that was initiated runs smoothly with the support of complete broadcast media. Then the author views that dissemination or socialization in various formats is very important to be initiated for prospective students, prospective alumni, and alumni of Communication Studies so that they better understand the direction and job situation of the major taken. Because many of them are still pessimistic and confused about the majors that they have or are currently pursuing, whether they will get a job or not, there are great opportunities or not, promising or not, will become practitioners or academics, and other issues.
