Abstract

This study was conducted at the Office of the Regional Civil Service Agency of Palu. In this study, the researchers applied the concept proposed by Agus Dwiyanto concerning five indicators that determine the performance of government employees, namely productivity, responsiveness, accountability, service quality, and responsibility. This study was descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Informants were selected purposively, in which the researchers deliberately chose people who were considered to understand the investigated problem. The informants in this study were the Head of the Regional Civil Service Agency of Palu, the Head of the Division of Transfer and Rank, the Head of the Sub-Division of Rank, employees of the Regional Civil Service Agency of Palu, and three civil servants from other agencies. Results showed as follows. In terms of productivity, there are still employees who are late to come for work which can result in a lack of employee working hours from the work time that has been set. In terms of service quality, it has not been running well because there are often delays in making decrees concerning appointments to be civil servants. In terms of responsiveness, it has gone well. The government employees of the Regional Civil Service Agency of Palu provide solutions to the problems faced by civil servants in Palu regarding promotions. In terms of responsibility, it has run quite well, as shown by the presence of a suggestion box and telephone-based service for civil servants to submit their suggestions and criticisms. In terms of accountability, it has run well, as indicated by the conditions found, in which employees have completed their works and reports on time. In addition, they are also responsible for the results of their works and reports to their respective heads of division if an error is found in making reports or delays in collecting reports.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the potential economic structure and competitiveness between economic sectors in districts/cities in South Kalimantan. Shift Share analysis was used as the research method. The results of the study showed that during the period 2012-2018, the economy in districts/cities in South Kalimantan, totaling 13 districts/cities, had a competitive sector for each district/city, which could be seen from the positive Cij value. It indicated that a sector had competitiveness and specialization. In other words, having competitive advantage showed the capability of a region to market its products outside the region / abroad / global market. In 13 districts/cities in South Kalimantan, they were still quite controlled by the sectors of agriculture, forestry and fishery, mining and quarrying sectors, Processing industry; Procurement of electricity and gas, Procurement, Construction; Wholesale and retail trade, repairs, Transportation and warehousing, Provision of accommodation and food and drink, Real estate, Corporate services, Government administration of defense and social security, Educational services, Health services and social activities. However, in terms of negative or less competitive sectors, they were information and communication sector, financial services and other services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the direct effect of work stress, workload, work motivation on employee performance. Also analyze the indirect effect of work stress, workload on employee performance mediated by work motivation. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total of 120 employees of the Forest Management Office in East Java. The analysis technique used in this research is PLS-SEM. The results showed that work stress did not affect employee performance, but work stress had a positive effect on workload. Workload does not affect employee performance, but workload has an influence on work motivation, and work motivation affects employee performance. Work motivation is also able to mediate the relationship between workload and employee performance, and workload and work motivation serially mediate the relationship between work stress and employee performance. Work stress and workload do not directly affect employee performance, but mediated by work motivation there is an influence between work stress and workload on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Transformational Leadership Style, Work Motivation, and Work Discipline on Affective Commitment, both partially and simultaneously. This research is a quantitative research, as the population in this study are all employees, with a total sample of 62. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression which is equipped with data tests, assumption tests, T tests and F tests. The results of this study indicate that the Transformational Leadership Style variable has a significant effect on Affective Commitment, as evidenced by the results of the T test, namely the value of Tcount>Ttable or significant < 0.05 with a value of 2.280 > 1.671 or 0.026 < 0.05. Then the variable Work Motivation has a significant effect on Affective Commitment, as evidenced by the results of the T test, namely the value obtained, namely Tcount>Ttable or significantly <0.05 with a value of 2,703> 1,671 or 0.009 <0.05. And the Work Discipline variable does not significantly influence Affective Commitment, as evidenced by the results of the T test, namely the value obtained is Tcount <Ttable or significant > 0.05 with a value of 1.557 <1.671 or 0.120 > 0.05. Simultaneously, Transformational Leadership Style, Work Motivation, and Work Discipline have an effect on Affective Commitment with ɑ = 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe related to the Implementation of the E-Pak Ladi Kiosk Program in Population Administration Services. The type of research used in this study is qualitative using a descriptive approach. The data collection method used is by reviewing legislation, observation, and interviews. The method of data analysis in this study is using data reduction, then followed by presenting the data and drawing conclusions. The Kiosk E-Pak Ladi program is a position service program that can be done electronically in the management of population administration, such as ID cards, death certificates, birth certificates, transfer documents, and others. Legislation Number 24 of 2013 concerning population administration is a series of structuring and controlling activities in the issuance of population documentation and data through population registration, civil registration, management of population administration information, and utilization of results for public service processes and development in other fields . Implementation of the E-Pak Ludi Program aims to realize population administration services that run effectively and efficiently by optimizing the use of electronic-based government systems. The implementation of the E-PakLadi Kiosk Program presents problems and challenges, especially related to socialization between communities and infrastructure. The results of this study show that the E-PakLadi Kiosk Program in Population Administration Services has been running well in its distribution in various villages in Pasuruan, but it is still not optimal in terms of widespread and even socialization and in terms of infrastructure facilities still need to be developed.

Abstract

This study intends to analyze the influence of maternal factors and parenting styles on the psychomotor of infants aged 3-24 months in preventing stunting. The test method with partial and simultaneous logistic regression to analyze maternal factors and parenting patterns consists of: Age at marriage, Knowledge of stunting, and Child's eating patterns, which are then associated with the infant's psychomotor. In 2021 and 2022, Ulantha Village will rank first as a Priority Village in preventing and overcoming stunting in Bone Bolango Regency. Although the stunting rate has decreased, it is not much different from previous years. These insignificant changes prompted research to analyze the influence of maternal factors and parenting styles on the psychomotor aspects of infants aged 3-24 months to determine the potential for stunting as a basis for making Regional Stunting Prevention Policies in Bone Bolango District. The results are based on partial logistic regression testing that the variables Age at marriage, Diet and Knowledge about stunting have a significant effect on children's psychomotor. Through simultaneous logistic regression analysis it is known that age at marriage, Knowledge about stunting and children's diet also has a significant effect on children's psychomotor skills. In conclusion, stunting prevention needs to be done as early as possible by screening children before the golden period ends, namely before the child is 2 years old, one of which is by monitoring the growth and development of children through the psychomotor abilities of children under 2 years of age, so it is hoped that stunting can be prevented and restored.

Abstract

This research is aimed to: 1). Analyze the effect of motivation on commitment; 2). Analyze the effect of organizational culture on commitment; 3). Analyze the effect of motivation on teacher’s performance; 4). Analyze the effect of organizational culture on teacher’s performance; 5). Analyze the effect of motivation on teacher’s performance through commitment; 6). Analyze the effect of organizational culture on teacher’s performance through commitment. This research is a quantitative survey research using the explanatory research. The sample used is 128 respondents of all teachers at Mojokerto Permata Foundation. Each hypothesis was tested using the PLS SEM method. The results of the study prove that: 1) There is a significant positive effect of motivation on commitment; 2) There is a significant positive effect of organizational culture on commitment; 3) There is a significant effect of motivation on performance; 4) Organizational culture has a significant effect on teacher’s performance; 5) There is a significant positive effect of commitment on teacher’s performance; 6) By mediating commitment, motivation has no significant effect on the performance of teachers; 7) organizational culture has an indirect effect on the performance of teachers through commitment.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to research and get an overview of the Implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System in Road Construction Projects on Employee Performance at PT Fahmitra Rahayu. The approach method used in this study is to look for associative relationships that are causal, namely with a quantitative descriptive approach.. In this study there are independent variables (variables that affect) and dependent (influenced). Analysis of the independent variable (X) which consists of work safety and occupational health variables on the dependent variable, namely employee performance (Y). Therefore, in this study the Statistical program Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) 23, by applying this technique, the hypothesis can be tested which states that there is a partial effect and a simultaneous effect between the independent variable (X), namely work safety (X1) and occupational health (X2) on the dependent variable (Y ), namely employee performance. The Occupational Safety Program has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Fahmitra Rahayu, at the regression output the significance value shows the work safety variable on performance is 0.002 <0.05. t count 2.017> 2.014 t table means that it can be concluded that if work safety has a significant positive effect on employee performance, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted meaning that there is a significant effect of work safety (X1) on employee performance (Y). Occupational health has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Fahmitra Rahayu. The results of this test support this research hypothesis or H2 has a positive effect on employee performance. positive and significant influence on employee performance. Employee performance is positively and significantly influenced by the variables of occupational safety and health, which means that it indicates that the variables of occupational safety and health have a positive effect on the performance of employees of PT. Famitra Rahayu, so that the better the application of occupational safety and health, the employee's performance will increase.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Government's Role in the Development of Tourism Potential in the Coastal Area of ​​Bone Bolango Regency, using a qualitative descriptive method and approach. To obtain data used data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. As for the data validation techniques include credibility tests (extended observations, increased persistence and triangulation), transferability (external validity), reliability, and confimability. The data analysis technique used is an interactive model consisting of reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the study show that (1) the government's role as a regulator is not optimal even though there are regulations, but the implementation of tourism has not been well managed. (2) The government's role as a dynamicator is optimal, this is indicated by the existence of programs organized by the Tourism and Creative Economy Office of Bone Bolango Regency which are carried out routinely every year so that they have an impact on improving services for visiting tourists at every tourist attraction in Bone Bolango District. (3) The government's role as a facilitator has been optimal, this can be seen by the existence of various programs including the provision of Information Technology-based tourism marketing facilities, and (4) The government's role as a catalyst in accelerating the development of regional potential even though it has been implemented but has not been optimal. This is caused by the rejection of the business community towards government policies regarding the application of retribution taxes to tourist attractions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline, leadership style, and work experience on employee performance. The method used is a description with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study were 80 people. LPPNPI Indonesia is a state-owned company engaged in air navigation services. Airnav was established on September 13, 2012 through Government Regulation No. 77 of 2012. The establishment of Airnav Indonesia was based on two facts about Indonesia's aviation conditions, namely, PT. Angkasa Pura I, PT. Angkasa Pura II, and the Airport Technical Implementation Unit which concurrently has the task of managing the airport land sector and flight navigation. As well as recommendations from ICAO for specialized agencies or institutions in the field of navigation to establish aviation. The results of this study indicate that work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance, leadership style has no effect on employee performance and work experience has an effect on employee performance.
