Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of school principal leadership on improving teacher performance in implementing student discipline regulations. The approach used in this research is qualitative with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation. The research subjects included the principal, teachers, and students at a secondary school in Indonesia.  The results of this study indicate that the leadership of the principal at SMA Negeri 1 Pabelan plays a role in enhancing teacher performance in implementing student discipline regulations. The principal has acted as a role model, motivator, and director by providing guidance, direction, and monitoring of teacher performance. Collaboration between the principal, the vice principal for student affairs, and teachers in formulating, socializing, and enforcing student discipline regulations has created a synergistic working atmosphere that supports discipline within the school environment. However, some challenges remain, such as a small number of undisciplined teachers, the principal’s limited time for intensive supervision, and external environmental influences affecting students. Supporting factors, including the commitment of the school community, the availability of facilities and infrastructure, as well as support from parents and the wider community, serve as crucial assets in optimizing the implementation of student discipline regulations. To overcome existing obstacles, the principal has implemented various strategies, including intensifying communication and coordination, mentoring undisciplined teachers, delegating supervision tasks to vice principals and senior teachers, and enhancing teacher competencies through training, seminars, and further studies. This approach not only improves teacher performance but also creates a more conducive learning environment for achieving educational goals.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the Gerakan Edukasi Bersama Perlindungan Konsumen (GEBER PK) 2024 program by Bank Indonesia, implemented through digital platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. The program needs evaluation to improve its performance in educating the public about personal data protection for consumers. The evaluation method involves benchmarking, including performance analysis (engagement, views), gap identification, and improvement implementation. Data was collected through internal social media activities such as views, likes, comments, and shares, as well as data from similar programs like the Literasi Keuangan program by Otoritas Jasa Keuangan. The evaluation results show that GEBER PK successfully reached a wide audience, especially through TikTok, although engagement rates on some platforms remain low. Comparison with the Literasi Keuangan program by Otoritas Jasa Keuangan also indicates lower engagement for GEBER PK. Strategic recommendations include improving content interactivity on TikTok and Instagram, more intensive promotion on YouTube, and using effective infographics. Overall, the program has effectively utilized digital platforms but still requires optimization for maximum results.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Regional Regulation of Bukittinggi City on Public Order and Peace in the enforcement of street vendors (PKL) in the Jam Gadang area. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The presence of street vendors in the Jam Gadang area of Bukittinggi City has caused various problems, such as disorder, reduced pedestrian access, and disruption of the area's aesthetic appeal as a tourist destination. However, the implementation of this policy still faces challenges, particularly the non-compliance of some vendors who continue to sell in prohibited areas. The penalties imposed so far have been administrative, such as warnings and evictions, without strict sanctions that effectively deter violations. As a result, street vendors often return to selling once the authorities leave the location. This situation indicates that the effectiveness of enforcement policies needs to be improved. A more integrated strategy is required, combining law enforcement with alternative solutions for the vendors, ensuring that the policy is implemented optimally and sustainably.

Abstract

This study examines the resilience of women in Indonesia’s Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (INTRAC/PPATK) amid gender mainstreaming policies while managing dual roles as employees and mothers (double burden). Resilience is assessed through four components: Overcoming, Steering Through, Bouncing Back, and Reaching Out. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, a survey was conducted with 32 purposively selected respondents—female employees with children aged 0-7 years. Overcoming increased by Leave Flexibility and Work Environment (93.8% of respondents) and decreased by Workload (78% of respondents). Steering Through increased by Leave Flexibility and Work Environment (93.8% of respondents) but were hindered by Workload (78% of respondents). Bouncing Back improved with Office Facilities and Work Environment (96.9% of respondents) and Leave Flexibility (87.6% of respondents). Reaching Out benefited from Leave flexibility and the work environment (96.9% of respondents) and flexible working hours (78.1%) but declined due to workload (78.1% of respondents). Office facilities also contributed to overcoming, steering through, and reaching out. Key challenges included children’s health and development, workload, finances, and childcare. Additional obstacles were time management, childcare, workload, and maternal health. Strategies to cope involved collaboration, communication, quality time with children, effective time management, and enhancing emotional and spiritual intelligence.

The research method used is quantitative, using survey techniques via questionnaires given to Simeulue Regency Bappeda employees. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and path analysis to test the relationship between variables. The research results show that leadership style and organizational support positively affect workability, which in turn improves employee performance. Employability proved to be a significant mediator in this relationship. These findings provide implications for organizational management in designing strategies to improve employee performance through effective leadership policies and optimal organizational support.
