Abstract

This study aims to analyze the determination of service tariffs at Tanjung Perak Port using a Mixed Method approach. Data were collected through observations, perception surveys, and interviews. The results show that service tariffs are influenced by several factors, such as the type of service (e.g., loading/unloading, anchoring, storage), the volume and type of goods, and policies set by the port authority. The tariff components include loading/unloading, anchoring, storage, administration, and other charges. A comparison of tariffs with other nearby ports indicates that Tanjung Perak's tariffs can be more competitive depending on each port’s policies. According to the survey, 82.4% of service users were satisfied with the provided services, 76.6% felt the quality matched the price, and 64.7% considered the tariff details important. This study highlights that port service tariffs at Tanjung Perak significantly influence user satisfaction and the port's competitiveness.

Abstract

This research aims to provide an overview of health human resource development through training methods. So that it can see the strengths and weaknesses of existing training methods. The development of health human resources through training and continuous development is very important in determining the success or failure of an organisation. Health workers have an important and responsible role in maximising the quality of health services to the community, increasing awareness, motivation and ability to live healthy, and helping them achieve the highest level of health. The method used in this research is literature review using databases from Google Scholar for national articles and Pubmed for international articles. The articles found said that HR training needs to be held to support the competence of health workers. development is one of the efforts to improve human resources through training or education programmes. Training and continuing education of health workers have an important role in improving the quality and motivation of work. Training programmes can provide new knowledge and skills that improve the ability of workers in the health sector.

Abstract

This research aims to play a key role in the decision-making process. Open and constructive discussions between employees can help in formulating policies and making better decisions in the interests of society. Simamora, F. N. (2018) emphasized that kStrong interpersonal communication allows employees to share information, ideas and views with each other. This can help in identifying and solving problems that may arise in public services or operations. The aim of this research is to provide a valuable contribution to the development of science, especially those related to interpersonal communication in improving the quality of work of employees in Bintauna District, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency. It is hoped that this research will be able to expand and enrich knowledge regarding communication science and qualitative research in the field of communication, especially interpersonal communication. R. Wayne Pace (2017) stated interpersonal communication or interpersonal communication. The implication of this research is that the quality of internal information systems has not been emphasized too intensely in meeting organizational goals. This can be caused by various factors, including a lack of collaboration between different systems, a lack of accurate monitoring of operational data through the information system provided by the sub-district, as well as a lack of systematic and ongoing performance evaluation. Apart from that, mastery of communication media and digitalization of technology-based information systems have not been widely implemented. In conclusion, the quality of service through interpersonal communication has been running optimally, but it is still a manual process. So with the acceleration of digitalized services, the Bintauna sub-district office still has to adjust to the new pattern.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work life balance and work motivation on employee loyalty with job satisfaction as a mediating variable at PT SIMS Jaya Kaltim, involving all company employees with a sample of 194 respondents. Human resources (HR) have an important role in determining the progress of a company. Employee loyalty is one indicator of superior HR quality, which is influenced by work life balance, work motivation, and job satisfaction. The results showed that work life balance has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and employee loyalty. Work motivation also has a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction and loyalty. In addition, work life balance and work motivation are proven to influence employee loyalty through job satisfaction as a mediating variable. This research confirms that work-life balance, as well as the provision of appropriate work motivation, is very important in increasing employee satisfaction and loyalty, which in turn can support the progress of the company.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies used by the Bojonegoro Regency Culture and Tourism Office to increase the interest and participation of Generation Z in the creative industry. This research method uses qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques consist of primary data sources and secondary data. Primary data is obtained through interviews and observations, while secondary data is obtained through documentation studies. This study uses purposive sampling techniques to identify informants. Data validity techniques use source triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the Bojonegoro Regency Culture and Tourism Office has empowered the younger generation through training programs, art festivals, and competitions. However, better policies and continued support are needed to address the key issues of Generation Z's interest in the creative industry. This study found that the Bojonegoro Regency Culture and Tourism Office can increase Generation Z's involvement in the creative industry by utilizing local cultural potential and providing access to technology. So, the Bojonegoro Regency Culture and Tourism Office can increase Generation Z's participation in the creative industry and help sustainable local economic growth by implementing a comprehensive strategy and gaining support from the government and local communities.

Abstract

This study seeks to identify and analyse the effect of both factors on career success. An associative strategy is used in this quantitative research. With a total of 39 participants, this study's research sample was representative of the population. This study makes use of quantitative data and employs multiple linear regression analysis techniques within the SPSS application. important for professional advancement, which in turn affects professional success. Achieving professional success is heavily influenced by both competently managing one's career and actively working to improve one's career. Approximately 65.4% of the career success variables may be explained by career competency and career growth variables, according to the computed coefficient of determination of 0.654, or 65.4%. At PT Jaya Trade Indonesia Nusa Tenggara Region, career competences and development account for 65.4% of the success that employees experience in their careers. Other factors that were not considered in this study account for the remaining 34.6%. To sum up, the success of employees' careers at PT Jaya Trade Indonesia Nusa Tenggara Region is influenced by their competencies in the workplace and their opportunities for professional development. The study found that employees' career success at PT. Jaya Trade Indonesia Nusa Tenggara Region is influenced by their career skills and career advances.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the transformational leadership style adopted by local women leaders in the face of a changing environment, seeing how their expertise in utilizing existing natural resources. Gender stereotypes are one of the factors in the absence of women leaders in the public sphere. This study applied a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data collection used direct observation techniques, face to face interviews, and event documentation. The results showed that: 1) Ideal influence, Mojodelik Village Head is a charismatic leader and a role model for his subordinates, 2) Inspirational motivation, Mojodelik Village Head always provides support and meets the needs of his subordinates, 3) Individual Attention, Mojodelik Village Head always takes a personal approach and establishes effective communication with subordinates, 4) Intellectual Stimulus, Mojodelik Village Head is able to face existing problems with a future-oriented and able to encourage team creativity so as to create innovation. In the end, the transformational leadership adopted by women has had a positive influence.

Abstract

This study analyzed community participation in the Mpok Damira waste management program. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data will be collected from direct interviews, observation, and documentation. The informants in this study are Mpok Damira administrators, the Mpok Damira Program Manager (IDFoS), the Ngumpakdalem Village Head, and program beneficiaries. Researchers used Cohen and Uphoff's participation theory, which refers to participation in decision-making, implementation, benefit-taking, and evaluation. The results stated that in decision-making, the community was involved in the Mpok Damira formation meeting and participated in expressing opinions. For the implementation indicator, the community contributed labor and funds to support the program. Meanwhile, in the benefit-making indicator, the program provides many benefits for the community, such as additional income, improved social relations, cleanliness and tidiness of the environment, and increased community knowledge and skills. In terms of evaluation, community involvement is still minimal. The obstacles experienced in the waste management program are the low awareness of the community about sorting waste and the officers' delay in picking up household waste. Mpok Damira has community capital, such as social, human, physical, and financial capital, to increase community participation.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of organizational culture and transformational leadership on employee performance mediated by knowledge sharing and innovation at PT PLN (Persero) UID Suluttenggo. This quantitative research uses a questionnaire with simple random sampling techniques to collect data. The questionnaire was measured using a Likert scale of 1 – 5 which was distributed with the help of Google Form as a survey medium. The respondents in this research were PLN UID Suluttenggo employees in all their work units, totaling 306 respondents. Data were analyzed and processed using the SPSS – 24 method to test hypotheses. The research results show that organizational culture and transformational leadership have a positive and significant influence on knowledge sharing, innovation and employee performance. Apart from that, this research also shows that knowledge sharing and innovation can mediate the influence of corporate culture and transformational leadership on employee performance. The research results show that the role of corporate culture, transformational leadership, knowledge sharing and innovation is very important in the performance of PLN UID Suluttenggo employees.

Abstract

This research aims to provide practical insights for companies in designing more effective DSR strategies to build positive attitudes, strong subjective norms, and supportive behavioral control. The development of digital technology, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, has encouraged the transformation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from physical CSR to Digital Social Responsibility (DSR). In this context, the research focuses on analyzing the influence of DSR on consumer purchase intention in the Jabodetabek area. This study also explores the mediating role of brand awareness, brand trust, and attitude in strengthening the relationship between DSR and purchase intention. Using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) framework, this study examines how DSR elements contribute to the formation of these mediating variables that influence consumer decisions. This study uses a quantitative approach using an interview questionnaire distributed to internet users who have understood the CSR responsibility obligations of a company. The sample used was 258. The data was processed using the SEM PLS method. The results of this study indicate that Digital Social Responsibility (DSR) has a significant positive effect on Brand Awareness, Brand Trust, Attitude, and Purchase Intention, with Brand Awareness also proven to mediate the relationship between DSR and Purchase Intention.
