Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of performance appraisal and compensation on employee performance in the SMAS Al-Izzah Batu environment both simultaneously and partially. This type of research uses quantitative methods. The population of this study were Academic Teachers at SMAS Al-Izzah Batu, totalling 60 people, and the technique, and the retrieval used the Saturated Sampling technique. The data collection method involved distributing questionnaires to gather primary data. For analysis, the study applied multiple linear regression analysis, which was verified through reliability and validity assessments. Additionally, the study conducted T tests, F tests, and calculated the coefficient of determination (R2) after conducting a classical assumption tests. Data analysis was conducted using the SPSS version 26 programme. The results show that this study partially performance appraisal and compensation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and simultaneously employee performance has a positive and significant effect on performance appraisal and compensation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Physical Special Allocation Funds (DAK) for Sanitation, Education, and Family Planning on population growth in Indonesia. A quantitative approach was employed, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The data used in this study consist of secondary data from 2016 to 2025, obtained from official sources, including the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance and the Central Bureau of Statistics. The findings indicate that Physical DAK for Sanitation has no significant effect on population growth. Meanwhile, Physical DAK for Family Planning has a negative effect on population growth, demonstrating its effectiveness in controlling population increase. Conversely, Physical DAK for Education has a positive effect, suggesting its potential to contribute to population growth in Indonesia. Therefore, if the policy focus is on controlling population growth, the allocation of Physical DAK for Family Planning must be carefully considered to prevent issues and ensure the success of the Family Planning program.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of self-efficacy and soft skill competencies on the work readiness of final-year students in the Management Study Program at Garut University. The research employs a quantitative methodology with a descriptive design, involving 100 respondents selected from a predetermined population. Data were collected using questionnaires as the primary source, supplemented by secondary data from relevant literature. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 30. The findings indicate that self efficacy exerts a partial scientific impact on students' readiness to enter the professional world. Furthermore, both self-efficacy and soft skill competencies have a simultaneous positive impact on their overall readiness. High self-efficacy boosts students' confidence in navigating the dynamics of the professional environment, while strong soft skills enhance their ability to adapt, communicate, and collaborate effectively in a workplace. Therefore, strengthening self-efficacy and developing soft skills are identified as crucial factors in improving students' work readiness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between heat stress, worker characteristics, and work conditions with fatigue in toll road construction workers. Using a cross-sectional quantitative approach, data were collected from 100 workers through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis using Spearman Rho showed that heat stress, worker characteristics such as age and experience, and job aspects such as duration and intensity, were significantly correlated with work fatigue. These results revealed that hot work environment conditions, worker demographics, and workload had a significant effect on fatigue levels. Based on these findings, interventions are proposed to reduce work fatigue, including educational programs on fatigue management, provision of rest facilities, reduction of dust and temperature in the work area, and provision of sanitation facilities. These interventions are expected to improve worker welfare and reduce fatigue in the construction environment.

Thei population of this study was 150 customeirs spreiad across thei city of Paleimbang, takein as a samplei of 110 customeirs. Data proceissing using SPSS 25 analysis tools. Data teisting using thei t-teist, that product quality reiseiarch influeinceis purchasing deicisions with a sig valuei of 0.007 (<0.05), pricei influeinceis purchasing deicisions with a sig valuei of 0.008 (<0.05), brand imagei influeinceis purchasing deicisions with a sig valuei of 0.000 (<0.05) whilei peirsonal seilling doeis not affeict purchasing deicisions with a sig valuei of 0.063 (<0.05) and product quality, pricei, brand imagei and peirsonal seilling with a sig valuei of 0.000 (<0.05). Thei common threiad of this reiseiarch is that product quality, pricei, brand imagei havei a positivei and significant eiffeict on purchasing deicisions partially, but for peirsonal seilling theiy havei no eiffeict, whilei simultaneiously product quality, pricei, brand imagei and peirsonal seilling havei an eiffeict. Strateigieis to increiasei saleis can bei donei by increiasing discounts or promotions on various social meidia.

Abstract

This study aiims to ainailyze the influence of trust in supervisors aind orgainizaitionail commitment in enhaincing employee work productivity ait the Housing aind Settlement Aireai Office of South Sumaitrai Province. The reseairch method used is multiple lineair regression to test the influence of independent vairiaibles (trust in supervisors aind orgainizaitionail commitment) on the dependent vairiaible (employee work productivity). The saimple used in this study consists of 83 employees from the Housing aind Settlement Aireai Office of South Sumaitrai Province. The results of the study show thait trust in supervisors hais ai significaint impaict on employee work productivity, while orgainizaitionail commitment does not show ai significaint effect. Furthermore, the results of the simultaineous test (F test) indicaite thait both independent vairiaibles jointly haive ai significaint effect on employee work productivity. This reseairch provides vailuaible insights for orgainizaitions to improve employee work productivity by strengthening trust aind commitment, ais well ais considering other faictors thait influence work productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of tourism facilities, attractions, and visitor satisfaction on the intention to revisit Guamanik Beach, Jepara. This study uses a quantitative approach to test the effect of tourism facilities, attractions, and visitor satisfaction on the intention to revisit. This study uses an explanatory or causal design, which aims to clarify the causal relationship between the independent variables (tourism facilities, attractions, visitor satisfaction) and the dependent variable (intention to revisit). This study involved 101 respondents who had previously visited Guamanik Beach. The researcher used a probability sampling technique with purposive sampling to select respondents. The data collection method used a questionnaire and data analysis used PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 3.0. The results showed that tourism facilities and visitor satisfaction had a significant effect on the intention to revisit. However, attractions did not have a significant effect. This study highlights the importance of tourism facilities and visitor satisfaction in building the intention to revisit. Guamanik Beach managers need to focus on improving facilities and service quality to increase visitor satisfaction. Although attractions do not have a significant effect, managers are still advised to highlight the uniqueness of this beach in promotions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how processing, packaging, and shipping affect the price of mercury waste management services, identifying the most dominant factors. The methodology in this study uses a quantitative design with Partial Least Squares (PLS) regression analysis using Smart PLS 4.1.0.9. Data were collected from four upstream oil and gas operations in Indonesia in 2010-2022 to identify the dominant factors that affect service prices. Mercury waste management data collection was carried out in four locations, with an initial population of 16 unique data according to the contract, which then increased to 43 after being adjusted for the implementation period and contract validity period. The results of the analysis show that indicating processing, packaging, and shipping have a p-value of less than 0.05, indicating that all significantly affect service prices. Among these factors, processing has the highest t-statistic of 16.47, making it the most dominant predictor of mercury waste management services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Oluhuta Beach tourism on the income of the community in Oluhuta Village, Bone Bolango Regency. As a coastal area rich in natural and cultural potential, tourism development is expected to enhance local community welfare. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. Informants consist of officials from the Tourism and Creative Economy Office of Bone Bolango, village government, and local tourism managers. The results show that the government's role as a regulator has not been optimal due to the lack of government involvement, with tourism activities managed independently by the community. Conversely, the roles as a dynamizer and facilitator have been effective through training programs and promotional activities. However, as a catalyst, the government has not fully succeeded in accelerating coastal tourism development, partly due to community resistance against retribution policies. This study concludes that Oluhuta Beach tourism holds significant potential to increase community income, but achieving optimal success requires strengthening synergy between the government and the community through effective communication and inclusive policies.
