Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan multimedia interaktif (MMI) sebagai penunjang literasi sains peserta didik SDLB tunarungu pada materi zat cair dan gas yang ditinjau secara empiris berdasarkan aktivitas dan respon peserta didik, serta hasil belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang mengikuti 3 tahapan yaitu: pendahuluan, pengembangan, dan implementasi. Hasil implementasi MMI ditinjau dari kepraktisan dan keefektifan nya. MMI berisi materi, animasi, gambar, video penjelasan materi dan demonstrasi yang dilengkapi dengan bahasa isyarat, serta latihan soal dan evaluasi. Sumber data diperoleh dari 3 guru IPA dan 7 peserta didik SDLB tunarungu kelas VI sebagai subyek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepraktisan ditinjau dari aktivitas dan respon peserta didik berturut-turut sebesar 100% dan 70,6%-100%. Keefektifan ditinjau dari persentase peserta didik yang mencapai ketuntasan sebesar 71,4%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa MMI yang diimplementasikan layak sebagai penunjang literasi sains peserta didik SDLB tunarungu pada materi zat cair dan gas.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan (Reaserch and Developement) ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran kimia berbasis Powerpoint iSpring Suite dengan  tingkat validitas, praktikalitas dan keeefektifan dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model 4D (Define, Design, Develop dan Desseminate). Tingkat validitas media pembelajaran kimia yang divalidasi oleh 4 (empat) validator memperoleh nilai V = 0,82 dengan  kategori sangat valid. Tingkat praktikalitas media pembelajaran kimia memperoleh persentase sebesar 82,30% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Tingkat efektivitas media pembelajaran kimia dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa ditunjukkan dengan hasil analisis n-gain pada kelas ekperimen lebih besar dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang dibuktikan dengan perolehan nilai pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 53% dan kelas kontrol sebesar 30%. Selanjutnya, untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa, digunakan uji t dengan hasil thitung = 10,060 > ttabel = 2,0002 yang berarti bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol.

Abstract

This developmental research aims to develop learning media as a digital pocketbook based on 3D Pageflip Professional on the valid Reaction Rate material.  This type of research is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.  This research was carried out only until the development stage.  The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics, namely by calculating the percentage of validation values.  The data obtained came from validators consisting of 3 expert lecturers, respondents consisting of 2 chemistry teachers and 30 students from two high schools, SMA Negeri 4 and SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru.  The results showed that the development of learning media in the form of a digital pocketbook on the Reaction Rate material was declared valid to meet the aspects of substance content, learning design, display (visual communication), software utilization with percentages of 90%, 98.21%, 93,75% respectively, 94.44%.. the overall average score of digital pocketbook validation is 94.1%.  The results of the trial of user responses with teachers and students to digital pocketbooks showed that the reaction rates were 96.32% and 86.61%, respectively, with practical criteria by teacher respondents and interesting criteria by students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hambatan yang dialami guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran kimia pada masa pandemi Covid-19 dari aspek kegiatan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 27 guru kimia di SMA Negeri Kota Mataram. Sampel penelitian ini adalah guru kimia dari 4 SMA Negeri di Kota Mataram dengan jumlah 11 guru yang ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hambatan pada kegiatan perencanaan pembelajaran yaitu hambatan dalam menentukan metode pembelajaran kimia. Pada kegiatan pelaksanaan pembelajaran terdapat hambatan dalam penyampaian materi, pengelolaan suasana kelas, dan hambatan dalam mengarahkan peserta didik menggunakan aplikasi pembelajaran daring. Pada kegiatan evaluasi pembelajaran tidak terdapat hambatan apapun. Hambatan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran juga berasal dari peserta didik seperti partisipasi peserta didik yang rendah dan fasilitas pendukung pembelajaran daring yang tidak dimiliki sebagian peserta didik.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using the guided inquiry learning model assisted by LKPD on creative thinking skills in acid-base solution material in class XI IPA students at SMAN 2 Pujut compared to using the conventional learning model. The method used in the research was a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. Sampling was carried out using cluster random sampling. The research sample consisted of class XI IPA 1 with 24 students as the experimental class and class XI IPA 2 with 24 students as the control class. The data in this research is creative thinking skills data collected using test techniques. The results of the data analysis showed that the average post-test score for the experimental group was 73.29 and the control group was 57.17. The t-test results show that the tcount is 1.93 > ttable 1.68 with a significance level of 5%. This shows that there is a positive and significant influence of the guided inquiry learning model assisted by LKPD on students' creative thinking skills.

Abstract

This research is a Research and Development type with the aims to determine: 1) The characteristic of chemistry learning module based on simple experimental on the rate of reaction subject, and 2) The feasibility and practicality of the chemistry learning module based on simple experimental on the rate of reaction subject. The method used in this research is the 4D (Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination). This research was carried out until the development stage. The population were XI IPA students of SMAN 1 Pringgarata of the academic year 2021/2022. While the sample in this study were55 student who were taken randomly with stratified (stratified random sampling). The result showed that the value of validity obtained using the Aiken index (V) was 0,78 in the category of valid. Meanwhile, practicality of the chemistry learning module developed can be seen from the student responses of 84% in the category of high practicality. Based on the data, it can be conclude that the developed chemistry learning module based a simple experimental on the rate of reaction subject is feasible and practical so that it can be used in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and obstacles to learning chemistry during COVID-19 at SMAN 1 Narmada school year 2020. This type of research is descriptive, using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling with a purpositive sampling type. Retrieval of data about students’ chemistry learning using a questionnaire and the teacher by conducting interviews. The data analysis technique is done by calculating the percentage of the results obtained: the planning teacher prepares a new RPP to adapt to the learning situation by changing some aspects of the RPP. The implementation, in a row, preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities of 73%, 70%, and 72% are included in the criteria of good enough. Chemistry learning obstacles of 83% included in the very high category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics, level of feasibility, and practicality of Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on ethnoscience-based problem-based learning based on the main material of colloidal systems. This study is a type of research and development that adopts the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) developed by Dick and Carry in 1990. The location of this research was conducted at SMAN 1 Kediri. The level of feasibility of LKPD was measured through an expert validation sheet, and several aspects of the assessment were assessed by 3 validators using the Aiken V index. There were 2 validation questionnaires used in measuring the feasibility of LKPD, namely physical validation and content validation of LKPD. The results showed that the physical validity value of LKPD was 0.83, which is a very valid category, and the content validity value of LKPD is 0.82, which is a very valid category. The level of practicality of LKPD was measured through a response questionnaire filled out by 48 students of class XI MS SMAN 1 Kediri. The results of the analysis of student responses show that the developed LKPD is said to be very practical because it has a practicality percentage of 87%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the developed LKPD is feasible and practical and can be used in learning colloidal systems.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine: 1) the characteristics of the developed contextually-based E-LKPD on acid-base topic and 2) the level of validity and practicality of contextually-based E-LKPD on acid-base topic. This research is a Research and Development research with a 4D research model (define, design, develop, disseminate). The population in this study were students of class XI IPA SMAN 1 Kediri with a sample of the entire population, namely 42 students because the population were relatively small or less than 100. The results showed that the validity value obtained using the Aiken index (V) was 0.84 in the very category of valid. The level of practicality is measured through student responses to the contextually based E-LKPD. The results of the student response analysis are in the very practical category with a practicality percentage of 91%. Based on these results it can be concluded that the contextually based E-LKPD on acid-base topic developed is feasible and practical for used in learning because it meets the valid and practical categories.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the positive influence of the Project-Based Learning model combined with Self-Directed Learning Activity Units (UKBM) on students' motivation and learning outcomes in chemistry. The method used is quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. The research was conducted at SMAN 1 Gunungsari with a sample of 59 students from classes XI IPA 2 and IPA 4. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, with XI IPA 4 as the experimental group and class XI IPA 2 as the control group. Data collection was done using a learning motivation questionnaire and pretest-posttest. Based on the results, the experimental group's average score was higher than the control group's. The hypothesis test results using the t-test yielded t-value of 4.2 > t-table 1.7 (for learning motivation) and t-value of 3.784 > t-table 1.671 (for learning outcomes). These results indicate that teaching using the Project-Based Learning model combined with Self-Directed Learning Activities (UKBM) has a positive impact compared to direct instruction in enhancing both motivation and learning outcomes.
