Abstract

The problem of this research is the low social studies learning outcomes of students in class V at SDN 15 Bungku due to the lack of teacher creativity in implementing learning. Teachers only rely on conventional methods by means of lectures, even though there are many methods that can be used to motivate students to learn so that their learning outcomes increase. One method that can be used is script type cooperative learning. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using the script type cooperative learning method on students' social studies learning outcomes. Method (quasi experiment) with a nonequivalent control group design research design. Class V sample with a total of 33 students. Consisting of 17 people in the experimental group and 16 people in the control group. With a sample collection technique, namely purposive sampling. Observation data collection techniques as well as pretest and posttest. Data analysis techniques use the t test. Based on the results of the T-test calculations, it was concluded that there was a significant influence of the use of the Script Type Cooperative Learning model on the social studies learning outcomes of class V students at SDN 15 Bungku.

Abstract

Parhanudin, 2023. "Effectiveness of Using Problem Based Learning Learning Models in Improving Student Learning Outcomes". In Social Sciences class VII subject at Al Falah Middle School, Bekasi City. Thesis, Department of Economic Education, Faculty of Education, Panca Sakti University, Bekasi. Supervised by Mrs. Ismeirita S.Pd., M.Pd.E. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using the Problem Based Learning model in improving student learning outcomes in Social Sciences subjects for class VII students at Al Falah Middle School, Bekasi City. The method used is pre-experiment using a quantitative approach. The form of one group pretest posttest is an experiment involving 28 students in class VII.4. This research sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique. The instrument in this research uses a test in the form of multiple choice questions, namely pretest and posttest. Based on infreential statistical analysis using the t-test formula, it is known that the tcount value obtained is 4.90 with a frequency of dk= 28-1= 27. At a significance level of 5%, the value of ttable = 1.70 is obtained, so we get tcount > ttable, namely 4 .90 > 1.70. So it can be concluded that the use of the Problem Based Learning Model is effective in improving the Social Sciences learning outcomes of Class VII.4 students at Al Falah Middle School, Bekasi City.

Abstract

This reearch aims to describe the Effect of Applying Inspirational Film Media on Students' Explanatory Text Writing Skills. Type of thi research is quantitative with experimental methods. The population was XI grade students of senior high chool, with 208 students. The sample was XI grade of second social class, with 25 students and XI grade of third social clas with totaling 25 students. This research instrument used a performance test with research indicators, namely the structure of explanatory text, the language of explanatory text. Data were analyzed with the 't' test by first carrying out normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing. Data analysis showed that inspirational film media had an effect on learning to write explanatory texts in Indonesian subjects in the experimental class. This is evidenced by an increase in student scores, which during the pre-test the mean (X) was 67.76. After applying inspirational film media in the learning process at the time of post-test with the mean (X) is 86.76. This can be seen from the comparison between tcount and ttable (5.70 > 2.021), because tcount is greater than ttable, Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted. So the learning outcomes of experimental class who were taught better than the learning outcomes of control class students who were taught using conventional methods.

Electronic modules (e-modules) can be adapted to students' needs and used for independent learning anytime and anywhere. E-modules are an independent teaching material for students which are arranged systematically and interestingly. The data collection technique used in this literature review was carried out by collecting similar articles that had been published in online journals via Google Scholar and Google Scholar. Based on the analysis of the e-module validity test, it was found that the average overall validity value of e-module teaching materials was 93.71% with very valid criteria. Based on the results of the meta-analysis, it can be concluded that the development of e-modules in high school biology learning has met the very valid category in terms of content, language, presentation and graphics so that this e-module can be used by teachers and students.

Abstract

learning. The rapid advancement of information technology in recent years has significantly transformed societal paradigms in accessing and acquiring information. These technological advancements have also influenced educational media, with teachers frequently utilizing video media in instruction. The objective of this research is to improve student learning outcomes through the effective application of video media in mathematics education. This research is categorized as a quantitative study employing a quasi-experimental method. It was conducted with fifth-grade students at SD N 01 Ranah Pesisir. The research instrument was designed to evaluate the effectiveness of video learning media in mathematics education. The findings of this study, analyzed using the Paired Sample Test statistical method, indicate a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is below the alpha value of 0.05. This result signifies that the Sig. 2-tailed value (0.000) is less than the alpha value (0.05), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho) and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Hi). Thus, there is a significant difference in students' mathematics learning outcomes before and after the implementation of video learning media.
