Abstract

Apabila hasil belajar tidak sesuai harapan, itu tandanya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa juga kurang memadai. Dengan bantuan media question card, salah satu model pembelajaran yang disebut Problem Based Learning dapat membantu siswa menjadi lebih mahir berpikir kritis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dipengaruhi oleh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan question card. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan randomized control-group pretest-posttest design dan dikenal dengan istilah eksperimen semu (Quasi Experiment). Pertanyaan esai berfungsi sebagai alat untuk menilai keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Purposive sampling digunakan untuk memilih kelas sampel. Analisis data menggunakan uji Paired Sample T Test menghasilkan hasil signifikansi (0,000) < nilai α (0,05) yang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan question card yang dipadukan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis masalah memberikan pengaruh yang baik terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of applying 3D Printing media on student interest and learning outcomes in the Excretory System material. The type of research used was pre-experimental with a One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The population of class XI students at SMA Negeri 7 Luwu was 153 students and the sample used was 32 class XI MIPA 4 students. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The instruments used in the research were learning outcomes tests and questionnaires. Research data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics and hypothesis testing using the t-test. The research results show that: (1) the learning interest of students who are taught using 3D printing media is 64.41 (medium); (2) The learning outcomes of students taught using 3D printing media have an average value of 89.50 (very high); (3) The results of the hypothesis test on students' learning interest obtained a sig value. 0.00<0.05 which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted; (4) The results of the t-test on student learning outcomes obtained a sig value. 0.00<0.05 which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on this explanation, it was concluded that there was an influence of the application of 3D Printing media on interest and learning outcomes in the Excretory System material.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of implementing Problem Based Learning (PBL) using animated video media and Wordwall quizzes on student learning outcomes at SMA Muhammadiyah Waingapu. The research was conducted using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with Grade X Social Sciences students in the academic year 2023/2024. affective aspects. Therefore, it can be concluded that implementing PBL with animated video media and Wordwall quizzes effectively enhances student learning outcomes and achieves the expected level of mastery in science subjects at SMA Muhammadiyah Waingapu.

Abstract

Teknologi telah mengubah pendidikan dari kurikulum 2013 digantikan dengan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar. Di sekolah, pendidikan bersifat dinamis, menarik, dan memberikan ruang peserta didik untuk mandiri dan kreatif. Selain itu, hal ini harus dilakukan dengan cara yang melibatkan, menantang, dan memotivasi peserta didik. Dengan pesatnya kemajuan teknologi dan informasi, perangkat pembelajaran lembar kerja peserta didik yang dahulunya berbentuk cetak kini digantikan dengan LKPD elektronik (e-LKPD). Pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik diberi prioritas di kelas. Meskipun penggunaan e-LKPD dapat menurunkan kinerja guru, namun juga dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik. Karena bioteknologi berguna dan abstrak, pengajaran konten bioteknologi melibatkan pengetahuan tentang prinsip-prinsip dasar, menjadikannya salah satu mata pelajaran biologi yang paling menantang untuk diajarkan. Untuk mengetahui apa yang dipahami dan diperlukan untuk membuat E-LKPD berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan kearifan lokal pada materi bioteknologi menjadi tujuan dari analisis literatur ini. Tujuan dari e-LKPD ini adalah untuk mengikuti perkembangan zaman dimana hampir setiap tindakan dapat dilakukan dengan bantuan perangkat digital.

Abstract

Self-confidence is very important, because success in the learning process can be influenced by self-confidence. Meanwhile, metacognitive awareness needs to be developed because it is an important key in achieving meaningful goals and longer retention of material understanding. This study aims to (1) identify and analyze the self-confidence of prospective biology teacher students in Ternate City, North Maluku; (2) Identify and analyze the metacognitive awareness of prospective biology teacher students in Ternate City, North Maluku. This study is a quantitative study with a descriptive method. The research instrument is a non-test instrument, namely a self-confidence questionnaire and a metacognitive awareness questionnaire that have been validated. The level of self-confidence of prospective biology teacher students is 20.00% in the high category; 13.33% is in the moderate category and 66.67% is in the low category. While the level of metacognitive awareness of prospective biology teacher students is 23.33% in the less category; 43.34% is in the sufficient category and 33.33% is in the good category. The conclusion of the study is that the self-confidence and metacognitive awareness scores of prospective biology teachers are still low.

Abstract

Field studies show that students' higher order thinking skills (HOTS) and self-confidence are still low. This research aims to determine the impact of using the reciprocal teaching model on students' higher order thinking skills (HOTS) and self-confidence. In its implementation, this research used a quasi-experimental method. There are two classes used, namely the control class and the experimental class, namely XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 which were obtained using the cluster random sampling technique. The experimental class uses a reciprocal teaching learning model and the control class uses a direct instruction learning model. The instruments used in this research were tests and questionnaires. The test instrument is to measure students' HOTS, while the questionnaire instrument is to measure students' self-confidence. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the sig value is obtained. 0.000 < 0.05 so it can be seen that the reciprocal teaching learning model can be used to increase students' HOTS and self-confidence.

Abstract

Hospitals as one of the health service institutions that provide inpatient, outpatient and emergency services, in their implementation can produce waste in solid, liquid or gas form which can pollute the environment. Hospital waste water is an accumulation of domestic waste and liquid biomedical waste with high levels of organic pollutants, so it can be treated biologically. Liquid biomedical waste contains many microorganisms where the presence of microorganisms, in this case bacteria, can be used as an indicator of waste management and unfavorable environmental conditions. One waste water treatment technology that is safe for the environment is using bacteria that have the potential to act as decomposers in the biodegradation process. To obtain bacteria that have the potential to act as natural decomposers, you can isolate the waste itself. The bacteria found in liquid biomedical waste make it possible to find a group of non-pathogenic hydrolytic bacteria where this group of bacteria can produce various enzymes that are capable of degrading liquid biomedical waste. Gram staining is a method to differentiate between types or spesies of bacteria namely gram-positive bacteria and gram-negative bacteria. The aim of this study was to identify bacteria using Ziehl Neelsen gram staining. The results of the research showed that there were two bacterial isolates that were gram negative, namely isolate codes UH1.1 and UH1.2 (bacillus) form characterized by the appearance of brick red cells and five isolates that were gram positive, namely isolate codes UH1.3, UH2.1 (bacillus) UH2.2, UH2.3 and UH3.1 (coccus form) are characterized by the appearance of purple cells, the difference in color is due to differences in the composition of the cell walls of each bacteria.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research which aims to determine the effect of applying Ice Breaking Online (IBO) on Learning Motivation, Interest in Learning, and Learning Outcomes in Students at SMK Negeri 9 Makassar. Research data was obtained from questionnaire results, interview data, and learning tests from students. The results of research on the effect of improving student learning in cycle I were 74%, cycle II 16%. The final results of the study showed that the first cycle was 79% and the second cycle was 91%. Analysis using the normality gain test for cycle I was 0.69% and cycle II was 0.90%. It can be concluded that the application of Ice Breaking Online (IBO) can improve learning outcomes for students, both motivation, interest and learning outcomes for students for the basics of fisheries cultivation at SMKN 9 Makassar.

Abstract

The Sea Center is a tourist attraction on the beach in the form of a natural well located in Towale village. Because it is unique and is widely used by the community for bathing, this tourist attraction needs to be researched to determine its potential, one of which is through the exploration of marine bacterial species, plus the research conducted is still very lacking or even non-existent. The purpose of this study was to isolate and characterize marine bacteria. The results showed that there were 6 isolates of marine bacteria obtained, namely isolates PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PS5, PS6. Macroscopic characterization observations obtained colony shape, elevation shape and shape of the most dominant edges are irregularly shaped, convex and flat. While microscopic observations obtained the nature of marine bacterial isolates, namely 4 isolates are Gram positive coccus-shaped and 2 isolates are Gram negative bacillus-shaped.

Abstract

Learning is a process of interaction between students and teachers for the purpose of students gaining knowledge. This research focuses on the definition of development research using the 4D model. one of the steps of the define stage is student analysis. The analysis was carried out during the observation process on the research subjects, namely the biology teacher and 30 students in class X Phase E of SMA Negeri 5 Pariaman. The research methods used included distributing questionnaires to 30 students and conducting interviews with a biology teacher, with qualitative data collected which was analyzed using descriptive analysis. This research focuses on the definition of development research using the 4-D model. Based on the research that has been carried out, it is concluded that biodiversity material is material that is difficult for students to understand, this is because there is too much material and there are confusing terms.
