Penerbit FKIP Universitas Palangka Raya. Frekuensi terbitan 6 bulanan atau 2 kali dalam setahun. Tingang adalah sejenis burung khas Kalimantan Tengah (Borneo). Gambar burung tingang terdapat pada logo Universitas Palangka Raya. Burung Tingang (enggang) melambangkan pencarian/penelitian ilmu dalam kebebasan, kedekatan dengan alam dan lingkungan. Kanderang adalah suara keras dari burung tingang. Jurnal Ilmiah Kanderang Tingang merupakan sarana untuk menyuarakan hasil pencarian/penelitian ilmu pendidikan. Jurnal Ilmiah Kanderang Tingang memuat artikel hasil kajian dan penelitian pendidikan mengenai kurikulum, pendidik dan perbuatan mendidik/mengajar, peserta didik dan perbuatan belajar, lingkungan pendidikan, penilaian dan evaluasi pendidikan, khususnya bidang pendidikan kimia. Abstract

This research is classroom action research (CAR) with the aim of improving students’ activities and learning outcomes in chemical equilibrium material by implementing the flipped classroom learning model. This research was conducted at SMAN 7 Bengkulu City with the research subjects being 38 students of class XI MIPA 4. The stages carried out were using the stages developed by Kemmis and McTaggart which included planning, action, observation and reflection in one cycle. This PTK is implemented in 2 cycles with each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. The instruments used were student learning activity observation sheets and test instruments. The results obtained were that student learning activity increased from 69.1% in cycle I to 87.02% in cycle II. Meanwhile, learning outcomes also increased from 61% in cycle I to 94% in cycle II.

Abstract

Students low creative thinking abilities can result in students experiencing difficulty in solving mathematical problems. In this study, the researcher aims to find out whether there is an influence of the Geogebra rock problem-based learning model on students' critical thinking abilities. Quasi-experiment is the research method used in this research. Where, there are two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class, namely class VIII-5 and class VIII-6 at SMPIT Al Jawahir, each with 30 students. After this research was carried out, the average final test result for creative thinking ability in the experimental class was 69.10, while the average final test result for creative thinking ability in the control class was 63.20. So it can be concluded that there is an influence between the problem-based learning model assisted by Geogebra on creative thinking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of student perceptions of the PPG program and the teaching profession on interest in becoming a teacher in students of mathematics education at the University of Palangka Raya. This research is a causal associative study conducted in the Mathematics Education Study Program, FKIP UPR. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The classical assumption tests are: normality test with Kolmogorov Smirnov, multicollinearity test with variance inflation factor (VIF) and heteroscedasticity test using scatter plot method. Data analysis used linear regression, namely t test, F test and R-Square (coefficient of determination) with Minitab 16 application. The results showed that; (1) there is a positive and significant effect between the perception of mathematics students about the PPG program and their interest in becoming a teacher, with a regression coefficient of 0.0495 and a value of > (6.50 > 1.99) and p-value = 0.000 <0.05. (2) there is no significant positive effect between student perceptions of the teaching profession on interest in becoming a teacher, with a regression coefficient of 0.0495 and a value of > (1.04 > 1.66) and p-value = 0.299 > 0.05. (3) there is a significant positive effect on the perception of mathematics students towards the PPG program and the teaching profession on interest in becoming a teacher, the value of > (35.62 > 3.09) and p-value = 0.000 <0.05. (4) The R-Square value of 0.404 or 40.4% means that the influence given by the combination of perceptions of mathematics students about the PPG program and the teaching profession on interest in becoming a teacher is 40.4% while the remaining 59.6% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan mahasiswa PGSD dalam merancang percobaan sederhana untuk siswa SD kelas atas pada mata pelajaran IPA. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu mahasiswa prodi PGSD semester 2 yang terdiri dari 51 mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes tulis berupa esai. Mahasiswa diminta untuk merancang percobaan untuk topik pembelajaran IPA untuk kelas tinggi sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat dikatakan bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa merancang kegiatan praktikum dengan cukup baik (71,37), dengan skor tertinggi ada pada komponen memilih alat dan bahan (77.5), sedangkan terendah ada pada komponen merencanakan prosedur percobaan (63.5)

Abstract

Physical fitness is a person's ability to carry out daily activities optimally without experiencing significant fatigue and still having energy reserves to carry out the next activity. In physical fitness there are several influencing factors, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors include genetics, age, gender, while external factors are nutritional status, physical activity, exercise habits and others. This research aims to determine the relationship between nutritional status and the level of physical fitness of students at SMA Negeri 1 Kahayan Hilir, Pulang Regency. Knife. This research is correlational research with a non-experimental research design. The population in this study were students of SMA Negeri 1 Kahayan Hilir, Pulang Pisau Regency with a population of 280 students and the sample for this study was class X, class sampling. The instrument in this study uses nutritional status measurements based on Body Mass Index according to Age (BMI/U), while to measure physical fitness levels using the MFT (Multistage fitness test) test instrument. For data analysis used is the gamma correlation coefficient. From the results of statistical calculations it shows a value of 0.227 and a sig of 0.564, this shows that sig (0.564) > alpha 0.05 which means that H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between nutritional status and the level of physical fitness of students at SMA Negeri 1 Kahayan Hilir, Pulang Pisau Regency, because there are several other factors that influence the level of physical fitness, for example physical activity and exercise habits.

Abstract

Ketapang (Terminalia catappa L.) is a type of flowering plant that has been widely used by the community, especially in traditional medicine. This research aims to identify the chemical compound components of Ketapang bark using Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) solvent. Research methods include making VCO, maceration extraction, solubility testing, identification of chemical compound components using FTIR and GC-MS. The mass of VCO is 744.32 grams (14.88% soaking). The mass of Ketapang bark extract weighed 183.88 grams (0.63% soaking). The solubility test shows that VCO and extracts are generally nonpolar. Identification results using FT-IR show that VCO has C-H, C=O and C-O groups, while ketapang bark extract has aliphatic –CH, C=O, C-O, C-OH, C-N and aromatic C-H groups. Identification using GC-MS showed that VCO had 112 peaks, among the 112 peaks that had a similarity index of 80% there were 14 peaks, while the ketapang bark extract had 190 peaks and 11 peaks had a similarity index. Thus, it can be concluded that the components of the VCO compound are decanoic acid, dodecanoic acid, tridecanoic acid, myristic acid, pentadecanoic acid, 2-monocaprin (2TMS derivative), palmitelaidic acid, palmitic acid, and stearic acid. Meanwhile, Ketapang stem bark extract contains heptadecanoic acid, (z) oleic acid, elaidic acid, 1-ethoxy-4'-methoxy-2,2'-binaptyl-1,4-dione, eikosan, 7-methyl-z-tetradeken- 1-ol-acetate, beta-alanine, sarcosine, 1-aminomethyl-cyclododecanol, and dodecanoic acid, 2,3-dihydroxypropyl ester.

Abstract

The educational system in Indonesia is based on the national education system. However, there is a gap between the ideals and the reality. This can be seen from many faktors such as the weakness in management sector, the low support from the government and the community, low learning effectivity and efficiency, educational resource inferiority, and the low standard of learning. As a result, the expectations of a good education system is still far from satisfaction. Many solutions have been proposed including updating the curriculum nationally, but still many serious constraints are faced. These circumstances then require systematic reformulation by considering many faktor namely the politic, economic, social and cultural aspects of Indonesia.

Abstract

Learning Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) is an important aspect in supporting the spread and understanding of Indonesian culture internationally. In the context of BIPA learning innovation, Prof. Uli Kozok from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa has implemented two forms of learning that emphasize two main approaches. According to Prof. Uli Kozok has two forms of BIPA learning, namely: (1) Synchronous, carried out using direct communication technology such as TV, Zoom and Skype. Abstract

This research examines the fisheries ecolexicon in Malay in Kuala Tanjung Village, Sei Suka District, Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra. The aim of this research is to describe the form of fisheries ecolexicon units in Malay based on monomorphism in Kuala Tanjung Village, Sei Suka District, Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra. This type of research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data sources for this research are fishermen and books related to the fisheries ecolexicon. This research data collection technique uses the listening and speaking method. The results of the research show that the fisheries ecolexicon in Malay in Kuala Tanjung Village, Sei Suka District, Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra produces a monomorphemic lexicon consisting of 50 lexicons.

Abstract

This research aimed fo know the effect of cooperative learning model, its type was student teams achievement division (STAD) to learning output of basic technique passing of basket ball (chest pass and over head pass). This research by using the pre-test post-test control group design. This research was done to seventh grade students in SMP Negeri 9 Palangka Raya academic year 2023/2023 with sampel which were 52 students. They were distributen into two classes namely VIIB and VIIF classes it classes namely VIIB and VIIF classes. It used simple random sampling data of learning outcome consists of 1.) cognitive aspect using multiple choice test, 2.) affective aspect, using students attitude observation, 3.) psychomotoric aspect, using basket ball passing observation. Analyzing data consists of. 1.) prerequisite test, using normality test applying kolmogorov-smirnov and homogeneity test applying Levene’s test of equality of error variance, and 2.) hypothesis test, using t-test on significant standard 0.05. According prerequisite test it was got the result that data have normal distribution and homogent t-test showed that tcount = 4.334 while ttable =1675, and it has significant value using t-test which was p<0.00. Supporting the result of analyzing data and discussion, the candusion of this research is implementation of cooperative learning model STAD had significant effect on learning output of basket ball passing of 7 th-grade students in SMP Negeri 7 Palangka Raya academic year 2023/2023. Heance,it hoped that penjasorkes teachers can apply cooperative learning model STAD type, because it was seen that it has significant effect on students learning outcome.
